They make authentic & elevated Filipino food. Great service! Aesthetic & welcoming environment!

We spent Saturday in Savannah, Georgia, and for lunch, stopped at The Narra Tree, a Filipino restaurant tucked along Hodgson Memorial Drive. The scent alone, savory, smoky, and rich with garlic and soy, was enough to stop us in our tracks. We began with the chicken lumpia. Cut on the bias and plated open-faced, it was crisp and golden, the kind of snack that makes you wish you'd ordered two. Hot, perfectly seasoned, and ideal for dipping, it set the tone for what was to come. Then came the mains: sisig and bulalo, two of the most comforting dishes in the Filipino canon. The sisig arrived dramatically, sputtering and sizzling its way through the dining room, drawing every eye as it landed on the table. The diced pork and liver pate melded with calamansi and soy, the egg and garlic aioli crowning it with richness. Each bite was a balance of acidity, salt, and fat--a perfect mouthful of home. The bulalo followed, a deep bowl of slow-simmered beef shank, vegetables, and broth so rich it practically shimmered. The meat fell apart at the touch, and the bone marrow, once scraped and stirred into the soup, transformed the broth into something even more indulgent. On a rainy Savannah afternoon, it felt like medicine for the soul. The Narra Tree is exactly what a Filipino restaurant should be--warm, unpretentious, and deeply comforting. 4 out of 5 A cozy, flavorful taste of the Philippines that makes you feel right at home.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! Very charming and well decorated. Our server was great and gave us really good suggestions. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and the drinks were refreshing! Desserts were also amazing. Definitely will come back

The Narra Tree Restaurant has a welcoming vibe with décor and atmosphere that make you want to linger. We tried the beef kare-kare sauce and veggies were solid, though the beef itself was a bit plain. The adobo fries were the standout: great flavor and something different in the best way. The sisig was good too and definitely worth ordering. Friendly customer service rounds out the experience. A nice spot to try when you're in the area.

I had the opportunity to try Narra Tree and it was amazing! We tried a variety of things on their menu starting with appetizers: Chicken lumpia which were so crunchy and delicious! For my main meal a I had: Liempo (lee*yem poh) Grilled Pork Belly but my favorite was the desserts! We couldn't pick just one so we got the Ube Tiramisu and the Leche Flan if you ever get a chance to try this Filipino restaurant I promise you nothing but flavorable food and a great atmosphere!

I had dinner here to wrap up my travel time in Savannah and ate their ox tail kare kare, a savory peanut-based stew with veggies and bagoong (shrimp paste). I loved the taste so much that I ate the entire serving--it had me thinking of my mom's cooking and life and I honestly almost cried in there lol. I enjoyed my meal with a San Miguel beer and would've loved desert if I had eaten only half of my meal and taken the rest of the kare kare to go. I also ordered a bowl of sour soup with my meal, which was delicious too but ambitious--I took that to go. Hazel, who took my order, was very friendly and made sure I felt welcomed. I enjoyed conversing with her and another regular during my evening there, and also enjoyed the layout of this restaurant. I loved learning about the history of this place and knowing that the Filipino community here has a spot for their food in this area. Also, they sell Filipino pride clothing--I was especially surprised to see a barong tagalog on display! I can't wait to visit this place next time I'm in town, hopefully on a night where they have karaoke!

This restaurant is officially in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Savannah. Narra Tree is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Filipino comfort food. We ordered the bulalo soup, chicken adobo, pork pancit, and of course, lumpia--and every single dish was packed with flavor and generously portioned. The bulalo was rich and hearty, with tender beef and a flavorful broth that warmed the soul. The chicken adobo was perfectly balanced--savory, tangy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The pork pancit was loaded with flavor and came in a portion big enough to feed a small army (not that we're complaining!). And the lumpia? Crispy, golden, and gone in seconds. Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with love. The portions were more than fair--they were abundant. We left full, happy, and with enough leftovers to cover lunch for a week! The staff was warm and welcoming, and the space had a cozy, inviting vibe that made the whole experience feel like a home-cooked meal shared with family.

Very cool service and decor. We enjoyed our food, but it was just ok. Not amazing. I thought the garlic fried rice could have been much more garlicky.

I just tried Filipino food for the first time. This place has got the secret sauce!! The customer service was one point, and the ambience of the place really shocked me! When you drive up, you would not expect the inside to look like much, but it exceeded my expectations, and they even have a karaoke room. The food tasted great!

We visited on a Saturday around 1pm, and were seated immediately. Truly authentic Filipino cuisine, and we enjoyed it! The lumpia were so good, even with just a veggie filling, it was Hurston t with flavor! Our meals, tap si long and inihaw na liempo were so good! The garlic fried rice has uch a yummy taste. One everything was mixed together with the respective sauces, the dishes were elevated to an even more complex flavor profile. Wow! I might have a new favorite cuisine. Staff was lovely, there were a few ingredients missing from my meal when it came to our table, but we were given them when we noticed. The prices are great too, about $15 a dish with great portions. The interior is cute, but the bathroom needs a little tlc. Can't wait to go back !

My boyfriend injured his ankles during our first night in Savannah so we had to go to Expercare Urgent Care the following morning. We were starving while waiting there so I did some research on Yelp (as usual) for places to eat nearby. This popped up with great reviews and ratings. Plus, it was less than 5 minutes away. Yay! We came in and were told to take a seat anywhere. Our server was a nice young lady who came by and filled our water right away. It was our first time trying out Filipino food so I was very excited. We ordered the chicken lumpia, chicken adobo, and crispy pork belly. Everything came out piping hot, crispy, and savory. It reminds me of Khmer cuisine with a twist. It was like eating home cooked meals. There were also plenty to take back to our Airbnb so we also had leftovers for dinner too. Highly recommend if you want exceptional service and quality meal.

We eat filipino food regularly back home (SoCal) and like to explore filipino food when we travel. Yelp led us here. Our party of 2 was greeted and seated right away. The restaurant decor is cute and there was ample parking. We ordered pancit bihon (yum!), beef kare kare (very tasty) and sisig (ok). I ordered a barako coffee and enjoyed its dark flavor. For dessert we ordered halo halo and it was actually really good with just vanilla ice cream which surprised us. They were out of ube ice cream for the halo halo and out of cassava cake which we were hoping to try too. We had a positive experience and next time we will try the lechon kawali. We could hear how crunchy the lechon was from the table behind us. The customer service is excellent. The waitress checked on us often and the chef stopped by for our feedback on the food. We could feel how much they value customers. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Food not good, not worth the price. Not fresh, dry and tough. Great staff and nice place. Hope they can make fresher food.

Before before getting to the food, the space was inviting and had a lot of cool touches. And the service was great! My wife, youngest, and I shared a number of plates. Some of the first include included the Kinilaw, the Lumpia, and the Laing. The Kinilaw is a yellow tuna dish. The tuna melted in your mouth and the flavors from the coconut-leche dressing, ginger, and jalapeño, as well as the fresh mint, added to the flavor palette. I didn't try the Lumpia because it is skinny spring rolls made with ground pork. My wife and youngest said they were great in really enjoyed the taste. The Laing was a vegetable dish involving creamy brace kale with garlic, ginger, and coconut milk. Of course it sounds different and it was, but in a really good way. Again, the way the flavors worked together was really great. The last dish we got was the Curry. It is grilled red snapper with braised, mung beans, tempura sweet potatoes over coconut red curry sauce and rice. It was so good. Again, the flavors in this dish were amazing. The fish was cooked just right. And the way the dish worked together was a piece of culinary art. They also had cool cocktails, good beers, and even mocktails for our teenager. Our experience at Kultura was better than we even expected from looking at the menu online. If you find yourself in Charleston, do yourself a favor and check this place out.
