JOIN ME TONIGHT FOR OPENING NIGHT OF - " ROCK of AGES ", Now thru AUGUST 23, 2026!…read moreIf you have not picked up your tickets tonight I'm sure there is time to get them and enjoy an Evening of Total Entertainment! A throwback to 1987! On Hollywood's Sunset Strip! This 5 Time Tony Award Nominee Musical will be Rocking BILL HANNEY's North Shore Music Theater for Hours! Packed with the Biggest Hit Makers! Look for my Review after I see it TONIGHT! Opening Night was a Smash Hit from the moment the North Shore Music Theater Orchestra started to play its opening number which energized the audience! We all knew that "ROCK of AGES", would be a high energy musical featuring the 1980's Classics of Rock and Medal Hits! Set, in 1987, Los Angeles Famous Sunset Strip, it follows character DREW/ played by EJ DOHRING. As an aspiring Rocker with high dreams. We all hoped he would succeed! SHERRIE/ played by CHELSEA WILLIAMS, as a small town country girl, looking to chase her Fame in LA! She was extremely believable in her character. STACEE JAXX & FATHER/ NATHANIEL HACKMAN, A flamboyant and very charismatic lead singer of ARSENAL, very sexy and believable character. LONNY/ MATT DaSILVA, The Clubs - Right-Hand Man and Jack of all Trades! Brilliantly executed in his Roll! So many other characters and ensemble to mention that you will have to go and see it for yourselves! This all plays out at the legendary club, "THE BOURBON CLUB". Pending an unexpected drama when HERTZ/ TOM GALANTICH, a Real Estate Developer looking to demolish all the building on the famed Sunset Strip! The audience reacted with cheers and applause when the most iconic songs were sung such as, " WE BUILT THIS CITY", " DON'T STOP BELIEVING ", " HERE I GO AGAIN". The North Shore Music Theater Orchestra really were amazing as always! This loud and fun party cast gave the audience their monies worth of laughs and humor with its explicit adult mannerisms and movements and the old saying, " Love the one you're with ", mentality! Truly in the 80's that's how it was. Bill Hanney - Owner/ Producer once again has made a big splash in Beverly at NSMT with ROCK of AGES! With his super hilarious, outrageous, raunchy, silly, loud, super campy production of " ROCK of AGES ". Thank you Bill for making your audience have another night of great productions here at NSMT! For those who have not seen it! GO NOW You have till August 23, 2026

We arrived at 10 am and there were fewer than 10 cars in the lot. This is mid October which is peak time so you can imagine how confused we were. $25 got us a small bag to fill. That was all we had to pay for the group of 5 of us! No ticket or bag per person requirements you see at other places. This is a pretty small orchard so by mid-October, I would guess only 1/3 of the trees had apples left. All of the Asian pears and other stone fruits were gone at this point so you'll want to go in September for those. We were still able to get 4-5 different varieties of apples. The only con is that you don't have all the other activities and attractions that you find at larger orchards. No apple cider donuts, farm animals, playground, food, or tractor rides. For us that was okay because my older parents and 1 year old didn't need those things and preferred the quiet experience without the lines. Maybe next year, we'll try Conner's when the little one is older and can appreciate it. If you want low key apple picking without paying a fortune, this is the place for you.

They have acres of apple trees and none of the crowds you see in other places. There were only 5 other cars the entire time we were there...felt like we had the place to ourselves. No frills, no nonsense. Just tons of delicious ripe apples, a beautiful landscape (great for family photos), and super friendly staff. The only downside (not their fault) is that the farm is really close to the Topsfield Fair, so many of the adjacent roads have "closed" signs to prevent neighborhood traffic. If coming from the South, do yourself a favor and ignore the closed signs. Otherwise you might never get here.

We've been coming to the Topsfield Drive-in for the past couple of weeks now, and it's been a great option for going out. There are concession stands set up, masks are required when you are outside your vehicle. It's been nice to go out for a movie. This week was Beetlejuice. For some reason I'm watching it now, and it's a really weird plot line for a movie, but I remember not questioning it as a kid. I remember the gags and the running jokes with Delia's sculptures, Barbara having a literal zipper on her mouth. Holy crap that is young Alec Baldwin and I didn't recognize him. Beetlejuice needs to marry Lydia, an adolescent for whatever reason? It just struck me last night that this movie probably wouldn't be made in today's day and age. I still love it though, however I'm starting to notice that I question more things as I get older. So, last week was actually Jumanji: The Next Level. So it's nice because there is a nice spread of movies to watch. The concession stand is fairgrounds prices, which is okay but who can be mad over $7 deep fried oreos, they're delicious and where else you gonna get this? They do offer radios for rent at $5 a pop, or to jump your car for $5 if your car dies while listening to the radio for the movie. We've run off the battery for a movie and have been fine. I would caution not to rely on your battery unless it was replaced recently, and just buy a cheap radio to watch the film.

This is an awesome venue with a small crowd with top end performances. Kudos to all the actors and actresses that have participated in the 2024 season. You all did a fabulous job. I'd also like to thank The Wonderette's for including me in their performance, it will be the highlight of my Christmas season. Thank you very much.. As for the venue, they have a small gift shop with wonderful trinkets to remember your time at the theater. The box office is usually open at the beginning of any performances last minute tickets sales are usually available. There was also a wonderful snack bar with some great homemade goodies and drinks. The staff is always very polite and accommodating. I highly advise anyone that has not visited to make it a point to purchase some tickets to a show here you will be very pleased. FYI, I believe it's only on street parking. Just come a little bit early to secure a spot on the street close to the theater.
