We have taken guitar and piano lessons here for the last two years and could not be happier. The teachers are engaged and interested in teaching kids things that enhance their skills and keep them interested. The range of music you hear them teaching demonstrates their commitment to the student - not their own interests. I wish my parents sent me to this kind of place growing up instead of learning to read music for "Mary Had a Little Lamb". Bad enough for piano, imagine it for a kid that wanted to learn rock guitar. The space was recently spruced up and has a nice vibe. If you are interested in lessons for guitar, bass, uke, drums, piano and a few other instruments this place is definitely worth checking out.

In just a short couple of months, I can't believe how much I have improved. My teacher helps me set goals and has me try innovative ways to approach the keys while trying to sing at the same time. I'm not a great multitasker. :) I had always been classically trained and only really knew how to read basic sheet music and I understood music theory on paper, but hadn't really applied it on piano. Now I'm reading lead sheets and creating left hand bass lines! I always look forward to my lessons, and I can't stress enough how important this is for a beginner, intermediate or advanced student to come and improve their craft. I see people of all ages coming in and out of here, so I can assure you, that it is never too late to start an instrument, to learn something new, or improve what you are already doing! But after just a short time Chris taught him some basic chords and songs and it actually started to sound pretty good when he practiced at home (thank you chris!!!). So then I started to think I might take some piano lessons. I played when I was young but it had been a long time. Chris was awesome and really helped me get back into the swing of it. We both started never playing an instrument before and now I can play the guitar and she can play the bass, drums, and the piano. We have been going here for many years. My sister started with drum lessons when she was only 15. She moved on to bass lessons at 25, and then onto piano a couple years later. Now at 30 she is back at the Bass and loves her weekly lessons.
