We met with Karen a month or so before the move, and she evaluated our needs (from valuable & delicate items, to paintings and rugs, to pantry items, to number of boxes needed, etcetc) and suggested a v. reasonable price. She kept in touch with us as needed in the interim, and then came with her associate Leslie for 2 days prior to move, and packed everything with great care. Everything was ready for the movers on moving day, safely packed (ZERO breakage) and clearly labeled. And, to top things off, her fee was a few hundred $$$ UNDER original estimate. Karen and Leslie are great people, easy to welcome into one's home and to entrust with the stuff of one's lives. Moving homes entails all sorts of stress, and Organized Matters made the packing part of our move stress-free.

Well today the day of my move that was scheduled for 9am they called me at 8:15am to tell me they had to cancel because they had no truck it's in the shop.. So now my family and I have to go to a hotel because we have no electricity or gas here it's transferred to the new place that is completely empty.. I have 4 small children including a new born... No one could call me ahead of time so that I could possibly come up with another option... Totally unprofessional I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!!

She was constantly saying that they 'might not be able to move' everything on my list. I should expect them to 'not be able to finish,' etc. She asked if my husband 'would be willing to move things down the stairs from our second floor to the road' to expedite things. Um, I hate to be a pain, but I am paying you for that? Anyway, they were the only company available the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and ended up finishing their trip/move in under 5 hours so I didn't spend as much as I planned (was around $490-550 with tips,) which was nice. And I got my furniture to my new house before visitors on Thanksgiving, I was really grateful for their availability. They couldn't move my couch because it would not fit comfortably out of the apartment and since we were renting, they could not do it. I had to ask a friend to bring their truck and move the giant couch by ourselves. The movers were a little rough with some of my dressers (somehow in the move got a hole in the bottom of a drawer?) and the employees themselves were rough around the edges. They left moving blankets in my yard. I was appreciative for their time, but I ended up moving smaller stuff by myself due to budget restrictions and in the end I am not sure if I would use them again/recommend.

They truly treat your belongings and house as their own and make sure to protect everything from any damage. They even put blankets down everywhere to protect carpet and flooring from damage/dirt. When we arrived at the new house they did the same thing. My wife was able to specify where everything went and how is was to be put in each room. Everything went better than I could have even imagined. I can't thank Joe, Gio, Joe IV, and the rest of their crew enough. When I called to follow up on 11/24, his voicemail said he receives texts at the number too, I texted and he quoted $195/hr. When I asked him about the disparity he said we could go with the lower rate. In our initial conversation I explained that we were supposed to close on our house December 18th and wanted to move December 19th. I did note that when buying a house there are many moving parts so there was some concern that we might not be able to close/move on time but told him that I'd let him know as soon as I knew for sure and he was fine with that. 12/12, one week before the move I text the owner telling him we're on track to close on time and that I want to confirm we're scheduled for the following Saturday 12/15 I text the owner again and leave a voicemail, no response 12/16 I text the owner and leave a voicemail, my wife also calls and texts, at noon I text that if I don't hear back by 1:00 I'll need to find another company I found another company, still haven't heard a word from him. It's entirely possible that we were on his calendar and he would've shown up on time Saturday and is just terrible with communication, but after going four days without any confirmation, I couldn't risk not having a mover show up. I truly hope everything is ok and that I'm not bashing a business that had a valid reason for ghosting me, but until I hear otherwise from the owner, I can only guess.

I was reading someone's complaint/review online about another moving company and saw information about We Move 4U. I contacted We Move 4U and spoke with Peter, the owner and made an appointment for him to come over to do a walk through and give a quote. Peter showed up promptly for the appointment and followed up after as promised, with a quotation. He was friendly and professional in all our interactions. He was transparent with the price. There were no hidden costs and no additional costs. The rate was an hourly rate and my quote was based on the estimated total amount of time it was supposed to take, including travel time, for the move. They collected the payment in full after unloading all the items in my new place. There were different payment options available. They use enclosed trailers, not trucks, to do the moves and they used one trailer to move all my items (from a 3 bedroom house) in one trip. The items were packed carefully and in such a way that everything fitted neatly. I couldn't believe it. The crew (two guys each named Dave, and a younger guy) worked fast, carefully, and efficiently to load and unload my items. Thanks again Peter and crew.
