The food was well wait and the bonus was that there is so much shopping that the time went so fast. So many unique gifts and food item items. I got the Travis sliders and salad, yum!! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Staff is busy but friendly and attentive.

The food was delicious, service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. This restaurant is worth a detour. The Ruben was perfect. The salmon was a little over cooked but still delicious.

What a wonderful time I had here! The lunch was absolutely delicious, and the kind, knowledgeable server made me feel so welcome. The entire place has a charming atmosphere that makes it a real treat.

What a cute and novel place to visit! Three story shop attached to this resturaunt. Think Cracker Barrel but far classier! Food was delicious. My only feeling here was I wish the bread and cheese on the French onion soup had been toastier. My friend proclaimed her sandwich the best she's had, with the toasty cheese on the outside of the bread being genius. A great experience and I left with gift items to take home to my family.

I loved my stop at the Morgan House! So much fun stuff to look at and perhaps purchase. We didn't get a chance to eat there on this visit. Staff were very friendly. I liked how the rooms were divided according to topic. Stop in!

Came across this gem while out for an afternoon drive, and decided to stop in for an early lunch. The interior is huge! Room after room after room of holiday themed merchandise. From kitchen supplies to bath and body products to clothes and household knick knacks, I can't believe how much they fit in this space. The wait for lunch was 45 minutes, which is ok, we shopped. Then we had an amazing lunch (pictured is the turkey cranberry sandwich with spinach salad and yes - warm bacon vinaigrette) , and then we shopped some more. What was supposed to be a quick lunch stop turned into a 3 hour afternoon of shopping with friends and family. I can't wait to see what they do outside of the holiday season. My only complain is service was a little brisk, but it was busy.

We have driven by Morgan House many times when visiting family in the area. Today was the first visit with intent to see the shop then decided to eat lunch. Seated by Marie, and expertly served by Mel, our meals included the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich with chips and the roast beef bake croissant with a side salad. Both meals were generous portions, perfectly prepared and served in a quick manner. The grilled cheese sourdough bread was toasted just right as well as the Parmesan crusted croissant. We left completely satisfied and full. Only downside was no room for dessert. Although the shop and food caters to a large clientele of women this male diner was not disappointed. We will be back!

Went to celebrate my birthday with a friend who was visiting from out of town. We were seated immediately and the server came over right away. We each started with a cup of the cream chicken and barely soup. The temperature was perfect and the taste outstanding! Pauline and I shared the roast beef sandwich and fruit cup. The sandwich was delicious. It had horseradish sauce and the cheese was melted on top of the croissant ! Definitely enough to share. For dessert we ordered the fruit pastry which came with vanilla bean ice cream. It was warm and delicious! Great lunch! Then we shopped all around the shop. Lots of different areas to shop around, just a little note there's deep steps to get from room to room and hardly any handrails to hold on too!

A great place to bring out of town friends to browse, especially for gift giving and the holidays.

Seriously everything is adorable and I would want it all for me or my daughter. The quality of their products seem good as well but for someone who is crafty there are very few things I would actually purchase because with a little effort I could easily make them myself (and do... hair bows, tutus, aprons, etc) or find exactly what I want on Etsy.com for the same prices and have custom made to my specifications. Maybe the do custom orders, I don't know, I didn't ask but when I went there the two sales people sitting at the front desk both said "hi" right as I walked into the door but didn't ask if I needed help or asked how I was or anything. They were not busy, I was the only person in the store at that time, they just kept on going about their conversation even while they checked me out. Barely got eye contact with either of them. Again, place is cute, clean, etc... if you don't like ordering stuff online or are not crafty yourself or have the time to be this place would be just great. I just expected more 'smiles' and 'warm' feelings from the sales staff as it is in downtown Powell in a cute house amongst other local stores who give you that "you are a guest here" warm fuzzy feeling that keeps you coming back to support local businesses.

By thin I mean I had a selection of maybe 8 bows. Sounds like enough, but they were so vastly different in style with few colors and I'm not even sure for what occasions they'd be appropriate. Disappointed. Same issue in the spring when looking for graduation cards and gift wrap. "Distribution changes, ownership changes". A LOT of workers who seem to be cross trained by Bath & Body Works because they inundate you with "are you finding what you're looking for?" Overbearing. Always. I appreciate help but I almost feel like I'm being watched and not really wanting help. It's just a weird vibe.

I was also purchasing 3 more items. The employee was extremely rude (I didn't know that ornaments aren't returnable even though it's more than 2 weeks before Christmas). I asked her to look up my list to prove that I purchased it there and she said she couldn't find my name. She basically accused me of lying... she said I probably bought all my ornaments from a different Hallmark store (I only shop this one). I even still have the voicemail from one of their associates letting me know that my waitlisted Star Wars ornament had come in. Disappointing because the staff there has always been so friendly. I've never seen this particular person. Maybe she's Seasonal. Anyway... this year I purchased several hundred dollars in ornaments. Never again. There are too many Hallmark stores in this same area to be treated like that.

The staff never knows when the technician will be in, when the machine will be done, or if he has even looked at it yet. The technician says that he does one thing when it is evident that he has not. Multiple times I have brought my longarm machine home after being "cleaned" and "fixed" only to have the same issues. And I have clearly seen that the machine was not cleaned. I live an hour away and when I call to let them know that the issue was not fixed, the answer is "bring it back in" (2 hour round trip). Most recently, and the last straw, was after bringing my longarm in for a cleaning and being told that I was "first in line", there was no communication about the machine and when I would call, the shop tells me they don't know when he will be in and when he was last in. Then, a week later I called to check on the status of the machine and they say it is ready for pickup. When I got there, it was not ready, but he said I can "finish it" at home. After following his instructions, the machine still did not work properly. He then stated that it would need a $700 part (mind you, the machine was not even in the shop at that time). After spending hours on the phone with the HandiQuilter tech line, I decided I would need to find another dealer. The new dealer opened the machine up and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years (he sent me pictures). The tech said he has never seen a machine that bad. So, it appeared that the $300 that Red Rooster required that I pay upfront for the machine "cleaning" never got done. I will not be going back and will never recommend this shop to anyone else.
