I've lived at The Monterey by Windsor for over 5 years and could not recommend it more. Compared to my friends who have lived in other apartments in the area, I think The Monterey provides the best value for the price. - Units: I originally lived in a two bedroom unit facing the church with a roommate, but now live in a one bedroom unit facing the pool. Both units are nice and spacious, especially for the price. The pool can get a little loud during summer days and occasionally people sneak out there after hours, but otherwise it's quiet and a nice view. I've always felt very safe at The Monterey. Fobs are needed to get into the building and to go up the stairs/elevators. There is also a courtesy officer on site if needed. - Management: The management at The Monterey is great and and I've heard similar things about other Windsor properties. Maintenance requests are dealt with quickly and the leasing office has always been accommodating when renewing my lease. - Amenities: The Monterey has a nice pool area with grills, a covered outdoor area called "the cave" with TVs and games, and a room that can be reserved for free for events. The gym is well equipped with two Pelotons and other cardio and strength equipment. When I traveled a lot for work, the valet dry cleaning and package lockers made things easier on me. - Location: I love the location of The Monterey. It's an easy walk to all West Village and the Katy Trail have to offer, but is quieter than living right in the heart of everything. I really love The Monterey and would not choose to live in another apartment unless the price increased significantly. While it is great, there are a few frustrations. The cell phone service in and around the building is terrible, but when connected to wifi and with wifi calling enabled it works perfectly fine. I haven't had much trouble with noise in neighboring units, but occasionally loud bangs, footsteps, and talking can be heard. Lastly, my internet and energy bills have gone up significantly since moving into the building and unfortunately with the plans offered that seems to be out of my control. read more

Would not recommend living here to anyone. The Management company and employees in the leasing office don't care about the residents experience or their safety. They will charge you for every little thing they can while allowing people to live in the stairwells and intimidate residents but don't worry they put posters up. The gate to the garage is often broken allowing thieves to enter and break into cars and steal packages in the hallways. A lot of other options in the area to choose from. read more

One of my friends lives here and I have visited numerous times. There are so many wonderful things going on here at The Monterey by Windsor. First, it is located in Uptown within walking distance from numerous hotspots. Sip Stir Cafe is located just down the street. There is also a bunch of other eateries around within walking distance. Second, I feel really safe and secure. You have to use a fab to get into the building, and then again to access the elevator. The parking is accessed again by another security measure, meaning, everything is super secure. Third, the units are gorgeous. Between the gorgeous floors and the upscale appliances, I feel the luxury. This is a great place, located in the heart of uptown with great access to 75. If you are looking for an upscale, luxury apartment complex, this should definitely be a contender. read more

I've been living in a 1br apartment for almost two years. The apartment is ok, big enough. The problem comes with the noise (thin paper walls). Gym is ok, swimming pool is ok, and package receipt service is ok too. My main problem has been unreasonable renewal offers, unreasonable fees, high price of the apartment for what they offer, high prices for utilities (trash service is about 50$ a month?!). In general, I would not recommend it. There are other offers in the market for less money and better services. read more

I do not recommend living here. The management is terrible!! So many issues in the entire building and a TON of issues in our apartment. Management would fix the issue by putting a bandaid on it. They completely failed to rectify any situation. We loss so much because of these issues and they did not care, as long as it didnt affect them. I lived at Monterey by Windsor for one year and moved out when my lease expired. For the duration of my lease, I enjoyed rent that was comparatively cheap ($1.69/sq ft) for the area. As my lease expiration approached, I was handed a renewal offer 17.5% or $430/mo higher than what I was paying. My experience told me that the increased cost was not worthwhile and I moved into an even more expensive nearby building where I felt paying more would get me something for my money. Here are 5 compelling reasons, that only someone who lived at Monterey would know and the office will NEVER admit, to reconsider a decision to move into Monterey. Monterey is very corporate. Decisions about rent pricing, renovations and maintenance are made from a corporate office thousands of miles away. The people who work in the local onsite office have no authority, ability to make decisions or interest in whatever problem you are having. Office staff exists only to sell apartments and are not there to assist residents. Except for the building manager, who recently took on that role and is apparently in way over her head, everyone working in the office is a recent hire. Residents are treated as just a number that should be seen and not heard. Crime including violent attacks and grand theft in the area are rampant. Check the lease document and you will see that management provides no security leaving residents with the sole responsibility for protecting themselves and their property. Not a problem if the building was in Frisco but that isn't the case. In my 12 months of living at Monterey I was the victim of or witnessed bicycle theft, assault, shooting, arson, vehicle vandalism/break-in and drug trafficking onsite and/or in the immediate area. Management has someone who watches the building overnight but this person is NOT a security guard tasked with protecting you and your property. Instead, this person is the Courtesy Patrol with a sole focus on protecting management's interests only. Make too much noise and the Courtesy Patrol will arrive at your door but will do nothing when a thief drives away with your car. The package room is a mess and not secured at all. Do not under any circumstances leave your bike in the bike cage even if you plan to secure it with a U lock. Don't bother calling the Dallas police either...they won't help. You are on your own despite paying an extra fee for parking whether your spot is reserved or not. More on fees to come. Padded billing and fees. You will get nothing in return for the "resort" fee you pay each month. Monterey is not a resort nor will you mistake it for one if you have ever actually visited a true resort. Regardless a "resort" or "lifestyle" fee will be tacked onto your rent each month...I paid $25. Midol is the company Windsor uses to bill for utilities and they charge heavy administrative fees for nothing more than billing you for water, pest control, etc. Want to pay rent with a credit card? There is of course a fee to do just that. Yep, there is a pet fee but you will notice dog excrement everywhere. Depending on the apartment and your payment method you can expect to pay hundreds of dollars each month or thousands each year in addon fees. After moving out I received a hefty bill (amounting to 2 months' rent+) to paint and ready the apartment for the next tenant. Living at Monterey will not be nearly as cheap as you think or are led to believe by the inexperienced sales team in the corner office. Building amenities are largely an illusion. Much of the common amenities function improperly or do not function at all. This would include elevators, fans, video screens, grills, jacuzzi pool, office equipment and garbage chutes. Windows and the exterior of the building are filthy given the proximity to construction sites and the Central Expressway. Renovations are planned in "the cave" which will mean weeks of construction noise right outside the door of about 100 apartments in the building. Never once did I work out in the gym over COVID concerns. Windsor will not honor its lease obligations but will do everything possible to hold you to yours. The corporation that runs Monterey will resort to cutting corners and blatant non-performance of its contractual obligations to residents. In my case they dropped a huge rent increase at my door well short of the 60 - 90-day window in our lease leaving me scrambling at the last minute to find a new apartment as a month-to-month arrangement would have doubled my rent. Two months into my lease management started billing me $10.75 each month for insurance despite providing proof of renters insurance when I moved in. I never actually paid them for insurance and do not intend to cover the cost of refreshing the apartment for a new tenant. read more

The manager Jenna went out of her way to ensure we were completely satisfied when moving in. Some things were a bit of surprise, extra costs, odor -- but between her entire staff they came up with multiple options to make it right. Brand new gym with Peloton bikes. At the edge of uptown/ more in west village- and a little farther from the Katy trail. Lived here for coming up on two years. Multiple times now I have had the electronic key and car access to the garage just fail and lock me or my Fiancé out. Now to get it to work they are assigning 200$ of liability to access the garage and apartment for no god damn reason. It shows a disrespect to me as a customer. Some office staff members are fantastic (they really are, some super nice people), others are rude and under qualified even going as far as to blame "a ghost" in the computer system... This is a joke, plenty of better newer buildings in the uptown area. read more

It's been 2 years now since I've lived here and my experience was mostly positive. If you are planning on moving here, understand that you are paying a little extra rent for living in a prime Uptown location. I decided to live at the Monterey because rent was somewhat reasonable compared to other nearby apartments in the area which I think is ridiculously high. All the units are built on top of a gated garage which is a typical podium style apartment which I favor and this place has adequate parking spaces. The grounds are well maintained here and maintenance here is very responsive. All the staff members here are professional and helpful but I want to give a quick shout out to Natalie Taylor who always went above and beyond in addressing our various needs during our stay. Every apartment community will tell you that their units have superior noise insulation but I find that is only true amongst units on the same level. For example, if you have a big foot living above you or someone walking around with high heels all the time, you will hear it since most units have hardwood flooring. So if this is a concern, then consider renting a top unit. I haven't experienced any major noise issue here. The interior is great with luxury stainless steel appliances, the hallways are air-conditioned which is nice and the neighbors are super-friendly here. Also, I've never had any bug issues inside our unit. One issue that we ran into was poor cell phone reception. This was a common issue with all apartments in this area of Uptown (I don't know why) but there are solutions. If you have Verizon, turning on wifi-calling will address the issue. Other than that, I really don't have much complaints. If you are on a budget looking for a decent semi-luxury apartment in the area, check this place out. read more

Problem with a homeless person sleeping on couch right as you enter main lobby from parking garage on the ground level. I was startled by this at 7:45 this morning as I walked out and very disturbed when I returned at 8:15 to still find him sleeping. Between 8:45 and 9:05am I called twice (spoke to a different person both times) and at 9:24am he was still there. Most disappointed in the response I received from the "courtesy officer". With winter just approaching, I'm really concerned for safety and how the Monterey plans to handle this. Also, I think the main gate to parking garage has been broken and out of service 25% of the time - I have not seen anyone even working on it for last 3 days. read more

We lived at Monterey for 2 years and overall enjoyed the apartment and amenities, but we were forced to leave due to ridiculous price increase and were also hit with high move-out fees to add insult to injury. While we lived there maintenance staff was always friendly and very helpful in fixing things when we needed, but they definitely need to hire more staff to keep up with the cleanliness of hallways, elevators, stairwells, etc. Almost daily there would be dog pee or poo in at least one area. Elevators were often broken or left on "reserved" mode hours after they were done being used, many times only 1 out of 4 elevators was functioning. Parking garage gates and doors were often broken and it looked like a homeless person was living in one of the less used basement stairwells at one point. Despite all that, we loved our neighbors and the pool crowd and were planning on staying another year. This didn't happen due the INSANE raising of rent that has pushed out more people than I can count, ourselves included. After our first year, the rent increase was negotiated to around $60, which was not a big deal as they had done some improvements on the hallways. This year however, our renewal offer was an increase of over 25% of the current rent even though there were no new improvements. When I went to the leasing office to negotiate a lower rent increase, I was very disappointed in the cold and dismissive response that I received. After that exchange we decided to not resign and ended up finding a nicer condo for cheaper than we were paying before the original rent increase. So I guess it worked out for the best for us :) But we are still not pleased with Windsor and wanted to warn others of their absurd price increases, move-out fees, and lack of empathy for their tenants. read more

Welcome to HELL I lived here as part of corporate accommodation and was not impressed. * Leasing Office staff extremely rude and immature. Run the complex like "mean girls". * Maintenance staff are bullies and will nickel and dime you when you want to move out. * Lots of events run each month which should operate as social mixer however these are held at 3-6pm when 99% of residents are at work. So they cannot attend. * Leasing Office staff keep back food and drink at social events and take back to their own apartment. This place really is run like a spring break resort. * Staff ask for feedback and then make no changes or tell you they are better than the properties next door. They try to convince you they are good by destroying the reputation of neighboring properties. * The halls are filthy and dark. * Elevators often broken. * Frequent break ins of apartments and cars. * Gym and pool are very outdated compared with other properties in uptown. * Homeless people often walking in halls and sleeping in communal areas. I moved out two years ago, but lived at the Monterey for three years. Great place! The common areas are not as big as some other properties, but the apartments themselves are extremely well built - lots of sound abatement, solid wood cabinets, solid wood floors. They just do things right. The location is great - just at the northend of McKinney's action, so a bit more quiet - really close to Cole Park if you like to run or play tennis. Also close to all the food/shopping/ amenities of West Village, and you can catch the old fashioned tram to downtown or other parts of uptown. Andi and her team at The Monterey are very professional and friendly. I'd move back if I didn't buy a house. read more

My girlfriend lived in this apartment for 6 months and really enjoyed her time here. Having spent a lot of time with her here I can say the same. The property is incredibly well kept and you can always find a worker cleaning or painting or doing some upkeep. The apartments are very nice! No bugs, no smells, no problems. My girlfriend also really appreciated the security of this place. Although it can be a bit of a hassle at times you must have a registered toll tag with the apartment to get into the garage. Then you must have a key fab to get into the elevator. A key fab is also needed for any pedestrian entrance. It slows you down a bit but worth it for the security. At the pool you can only have 2 guests but it keeps the area clean and not a total party on the weekends. Parking in the garage is no problem at all and there is ample guest parking as well. The location is great as well being right by Cole Park for tennis and basketball and about a 5-7 minute walk to Katy Trail. It's a 20-25 minute walk to most of the McKinney bars but a $5 uber ride gets you there when you're feeling lazy. We are moving to a bigger place that's a little cheaper..... Wish we could stay. I've been renting for a while and lived in multiple cities but never before I was so delighted with leased property. The Monterey by Windsor is in its own class. My wife and I have been living in the Monterey by Windsor in Uptown Dallas for over three years and we didn't have a single day when we were not delighted by the property, the apartment, or the service. Literally, not even once. The quality and promptness of service is superior, the cleanness and the fresh smell of the building will catch you every morning, and leasing office team thinks service first. Its hard to make this happen every day, but they did it. Moreover, there are the unique physical characteristics of the Monterey that are hard (impossible) to find elsewhere else in Uptown, Dallas. You will be hard pressed to find apartments with double vanities or the 13 feet ceiling available on the 5th floor. The pool is the longest that I could find. Then comes the location. Walking distance to great restaurants and pubs, multiple coffee shops, a movie theater, hair salons for men and women, a couple of massage places, clothing, sports clubs (varying), and 700 meters from the Katy trail. The list goes on and I'm already feeling a nudge. read more

I am really going to miss this place. My husband and I moved from Philadelphia to Dallas over a year ago and decided on The Monterey due to its proximity to DART and the Uptown neighborhood. Andi and her team made our cross country move so easy. They were very accommodating to our needs by sending pictures since we couldn't tour the actual apartment in person and made communications clear via phone and email. Unfortunately my husband's job has moved us to the Bay Area and again Andi's team made it painless to end our lease early and move out. Not only is the staff wonderful but the building is beautiful. There are nice upgrades in the apartments, ample space and storage, and the amenities are great. We would recommend The Monterey to anyone. read more

Solid apartment complex right by the West Village in Uptown. Just steps away from a ton of restaurants, shop, movie theater, gym, grocery store, and pretty much any you need. The units are nice and we never have problems with anything. The only time we submit maintenance requests is to have them change the light bulbs and they usually come that day. The only problem I have with this place is it doesn't have a 24 hour concierge or front desk. The leasing office acts as the front desk but they close 6pm every day and even earlier on Sunday. Its not a huge deal and really only affects packages getting delivered and having to go all the way down stairs to get your food when you order delivery, but it is just really weird they dont have a 24 hr front desk since that is pretty standard in a place like this. read more

Maybe I have really quite neighbors because I never hear them while in my apartment, and I rarely see anyone on my floor. When I moved out, they did charge me for some things that I thought was bullshit. For example, they charged me for cleaning the oven. WTF?!?! I never used the oven. They charged me for cleaning the fridge. I left some sodas in there for the cleaning person. Despite these minor injustices, it's a good place to live overall. read more

I have moved around a lot, and The Monterey truly is a great place to live! A+ maintenance team who fix things in a timely manner. My 2-bedroom Apartment is spacious and beautiful with two walk-in closets and two full baths. In other cities, this is unheard-of. The leasing office was very accommodating during COVID and did a FaceTime tour of the apartment with me before I signed the lease. Everything is walkable here so I think my apartment was worth the price. One thing I will say is I was on the top floor so I never had any noise issues, but I've heard from other residents that footsteps can be loud living on the lower floors. Also, my balcony wasn't that great because it's on the side that the Church is on and 1. Pigeons constantly poop on it and 2. The church has a strange, constant noise coming from its generator that is disturbing to me (I am more sensitive than average to sounds, though, so maybe others wouldn't be bothered). The ceilings on the top floor are very tall! Higher than lower floors. I loved my island kitchen and storage space on top of kitchen cabinets. My place was only 1114 square feet, a Santa Cruz model, but it felt much larger. During COVID I got a really great rate on my year lease. I will say when I went to renew the lease, the rent did go up like 6% so that was pretty high. But i still loved living in this building. My living room had a lot of natural light. For parents of young kids, there is a pre-school right next door and a park just down the street! I will miss living here. Never had any issues at all. Parking was great, Luxer locker package delivery was great, Jenna was very accommodating when it came time to move out, and they have storage spaces you can rent for $50-$150 a month. I Highly recommend living at The Monterey by Windsor! Especially the top floor. read more

I love living at the Monterey! It is fairly quiet - I rarely hear my neighbors - and the amenities are great! The front desk is always responsive, and we get any maintenance fixed within (typically) 24 hours. Living here you get all the resort perks - great pool (the hot tub is heated all winter!), gym, drop off packages in your apartment, etc. There is a great club house that I have checked out (no fee) for parties or gatherings which is incredibly convenient. The overall location of the Monterey is great because you are so close to all the action without being directly on top of it. I plan to continue to live at the Monterey until I move out of Dallas. The Monterey doesn't get 5 stars for two reasons: 1. There have been a handful of break-ins in the parking garage. I haven't ever felt unsafe and I haven't personally been robbed or broken into, but this happens maybe once a quarter on average. 2. There is also a high school across the street and the school zone is fairly annoying during commuting time. Cops have been known to hang out a block away from the high school/apartment and set up a speed trap. I personally saw them pull over a handful of Monterey residents, myself being one. read more

I have only been a resident for two months but so far the staff has been wonderful. Coming from the poorly managed The Mondrian at Cityplace living in one of the penthouses, which is managed by Greystar where we lived for almost 3 years and paid very high rent. I would like to echo Amber R.'s recent review (9/27/2022). Recently had to move, but am glad to have left, even with the astronomical fee to get out of my lease. Was there only a year and ten months, but my rent also was massively increased after my initial year's lease was up. The place was attractive in some ways, and in a good location, but there were ongoing issues with cleanliness (stairwells and garage, and the dogs just were a chronic issue). The office staff -- what can I say: sometimes helpful, and sometimes I wished I had never contacted them. They are very mercurial and unreliable -- and therefore ultimately really unprofessional. During my time there I also had to deal with a smoker above me (in a non-smoking building). The staff also let themselves into my apartment without giving any notice at all in order to replace the bathroom countertop -- they left the place mess, violated the terms of my lease, and when I objected they got their lawyers after me. Now they're trying to get more out of me for a supposed "disposal" fee for the shampoo, tea, and ironing board I left behind. Just........rent somewhere else, as this isn't worth it (in so many ways). read more

This is the best place to live in West Village. First, the apartment staff are simply incredible. I'm especially grateful to Jenna and the Monterey staff, who worked diligently to keep me updated on apartment availability to find the exact one that matched our qualifications. As well, the maintenance team works quickly and efficiently - if you put in a request they are there within hours to assist. Second, the amenities are great with two pelotons + great gym, awesome pool, two garden areas and the spacious two floor garage is one of my favorite parts (who knew an apartment garage set up could bring you joy). Third, the location and apartment layouts are fantastic. The apartments have great storage and lots of space to spread out. The location is in the heart of West Village with access to a park, tennis courts, great restaurants and the Katy Trail. I couldn't recommend this place more! read more

I love living here!! There's a lot of reasons but here are my top 3. 1) The Staff - from the leasing agents/team (shout out to Ariel!) to the maintenance crew, they are on top of their property game! They respond to emails and maintenance requests fast! 2) Convenient location - having just moved to Dallas and being new to the area, I love the accessibility of Uptown Dallas life but still feeling like I love in a small neighborhood. And the interstate/freeway is just around the corner. 3) Community - It might be just me but everyone that I've met at the Monterey who are residents have all been really nice. There's lots of social events sponsored by the leasing office and I've met and networked with a lot of people. Love living in the Monterey! read more

I lived at the Monterey almost exactly six years, between 2011 and 2017. As I think back on my experience in my one bedroom, first, I can't believe I was there for so long, and I can honestly say it would be hard to find a better experience. When I first signed my lease, the staff was very courteous and flexible with my needs. They made the transition very painless and I was impressed with their professionalism from the beginning. The price was very fair for Uptown; I received a rate right at, or a little below market value. During my stay, I really have to search for any issues that I had. I'll provide more in my "pros/cons" section. I'm not one to give out five stars often, but I truly believe it is warranted for The Monterey. At move out, the staff was very kind and motivated to keep me. My decision to move was because I closed on a home so, while I appreciated their efforts, the transition was going to happen regardless. I cleaned my apartment thoroughly and got 100% of my deposit back with no questions asked. Pros: -Location: You have the benefit of being in Uptown, very close to West Village, Katy Trail, etc. but not in a crazy-busy party area such as State/Allen. -It's Quiet: I mean I NEVER had a noise issue. Occasionally I would hear a dog bark in the hallway but that was really it. -The Maintenance Staff: as others have mentioned, you won't find a better staff. Submit a request on the residence portal, and someone will be out to fix any issues within 24 hours. They also have an emergency line which, thankfully, I never had to use. -The Staff: Very courteous and willing to help as described above. -Nice units: I was very impressed with the quality of the unit. It came with a washer/drier, which was a requirement for me. Microwave, dishwasher, etc were all very nice for an apartment. -Pool/Cave: Very nice common areas. Pool never was overcrowded and I always had a good experience here. -Other Tenants: The other residents I met were very nice. I think the demographic is mostly made up of students/grad students and young professionals. So you're going to get less of the frat-house vibe. Cons: Again, hard to find issues but if pressed, I would say; -Cell reception: Like others have mentioned, it's not good, however, there are ways around it. Cell boosters which you can purchase on Amazon work well AND putting your phone on WiFi calling. I work from home and this is actually a better option for me vs the LTE network. You have to select wifi calling in your settings then i put it on AirPlane Mode so it stays on Wifi calling. Boom, you now have a great connection. -Yeah the staff has turned over a bit in the six years that i've been there but I think that's to be expected. Worst place I ever lived. Over priced and the management staff was extremely rude. The neighbors were loud and the pool area was dated. I was overcharged at move out (really..charged for cleaning the toilet?) and they lost my keys after I moved out and charged me for that too. I would never recommend this place. I just moved into this apartment complex. after 8 years of living in a house, I was very hesitant to live in a apartment again. Unwarranted concerns....the apartment manage has been fantastic and very accomodating. Safe area, well-maintained quiet building, prompt maintenence, but zero cell-reception. This known issue isn't mentioned to you before you move in - you find out after you commit to a lease and settle in to your unit. If you work from home and rely on your mobile phone, do not live here, unless you enjoy FaceTiming with your clients over wi-fi. Granted, management gave us the option to move out without penalty, which we took, but they still required a 60 notice and pocketed all our move in fees. The Monterey could easily be 5 stars if they spent the time and money to correct the issue. read more

Beautiful apartment complex! I moved her from Boston and wanted to live close to good nightlife but not innnn nightlife. So west village was perfect. Amenities are all great, but yea they all close at 10 except for the gym (24 hrs) which I think is pretty standard for West Village/Uptown or anywhere that the pool is not rooftop. The management must have changed since people wrote the reviews below. They're all extremely friendly (except that one girl Megan. But she got fired) and maintenance is quick. Ton of parking available, and option for reserved spots if you want (extra $50 a month I i think) Downfalls: 1. Thin walls. As every apartment complex generally has 2. Really really really bad cell phone service. But they will pay for you to get a network extender, which is yours to keep even if you move out. 3. High rent. They just added a $20 a month amenities fee 4. Time Warner cable Perfect place for someone who wants to live close the great nightlife but still wants to go home to a quiet place. Only reason I moved out was to be closer to work and I can't deal with Time Warner Cable ever ever EVER again :-) read more

Renewing my lease at The Monterey. I started searching for apartments nearby, thinking that I can find a luxury apartment in the similar price range. After weeks of touring apartments, comparing rent, fees, amenities and etc, I decided to renew. While I was able to find nicer properties with luxurious amenities, majority of them were way over priced and not maintained well. One of the reasons I am staying is because Windsor Communities does a good job in maintaining the property. Maintenance requests are handled timely, hallways are vacuumed daily, packages are delivered promptly and the people seem nice. For the price, I think this place is pretty decent. read more

This is a great place to live. We are very happy here. It isn't perfect, but a beautiful home and a pretty good value for the price. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. The maintenance staff is fantastic. Everything is fixed as soon as I ask. Those guys are so nice, friendly, responsive and helpful. Thank you for that! 2. Beautiful granite, wood floors, etc. 3. Very dog friendly and a great dog park! 4. They recently installed a very nice bike rack that has fob access only so bikes would be safe. 5. The facility is kept so clean all of the time! 6. Staff is friendly and helpful. 7. Great neighbors - good people live here. 8. Good pool and room for free renting. 9. Great events for residents! 10. Great location! Cons: 1. Walls are paper thin. We hear our neighbors cursing and fighting at each other AND doing other things we wold rather not hear. But it doesn't happen often. Probably only 5 or 6 times in the year and a half we've lived here. 2. The gym treadmills and ellipticals - one or more is always broken at any given time. Why can't they just invest in new ones? It is very frustrating to wake up at 5:30 to work out and have 2 be occupied and the third broken when you get there. 3. Seems like there are lots of car break-ins both inside and out of the garage. We need more patrolling. 4. Terrible cell phone reception! Worst I've ever seen. Can't use my phone in the parking garage, the gym, parts of halls, and my own apartment! And I'm not talking about low bars - no it says "no service". This has to be fixed. Overall though we love it! Most of the cons are pretty typical of an uptown complex but Windsor should really address them. read more

Great customer service and amenities. The ladies that work at the leasing office are super helpful as well as the support staff throughout the building. If something is not working properly and they are very prompt and responsive to help and fix it. Packages are delivered daily to your apartment unit which is a plus. The pool is fabulous and never crowded and the fitness center gets the job done. The best part about the building is that is very walkable in uptown and to the West Village. read more
