I love this apartment especially for someone who just moved back to Dallas from Chicago. As a female, I care about safety and reliability. Highlights are the 24h concierge service, concrete aesthetic, and nearby conveniences. Safety - uptown can be unsafe, and as someone who knows first-hand the types of incidences leading people to the Parkland ED, I'll confirm that I feel safe anytime I come in late from work. I even feel safe when I have to leave at 12am for a work shift. I love that there is a 24h concierge service with a camera system. I miss Tony, but I really appreciate Jesse's happy demeanor when we come back super late from work. I like seeing all of our concierge people. They call me to confirm that my guests can come upstairs when I'm hosting. Apartment/views - my views are fantastic even at the 5th floor. This isn't Chicago, but it definitely reminds me of a bustling city like Chicago! I love my concrete and industrial walls. I never have noise issues. The aesthetic allows us to dive into our creative side for decor. Caveat is that you'll have to purchase your own lighting and fan (which means you'll get to choose a unique design for you). When I moved in, the concierge gave me a number for someone who comes to install lighting and my tv. People - I like the residents and people. It's nice to live in an area replete with all types of people of various ages and ethnicities. Parking - large garage with lots of space. I've never seen a break-in, and I've also never seen so many nice cars before. Limited guest parking is in front. There isn't a lot inside the garage for guests, but there is a cheap parking garage next door at the Rosewood garage for $5/8 hours? Neighborhood - I love walking to ascension coffee or magnolia in the mornings to do my work. We also love walking to wholefoods for our groceries. For a night out with friends, we love social hour at uchiba or drinks at tipsy alchemist. For a chill night in (this is frequent), we love flower child. And the views during Christmas time are the best. Lastly, the Harwood shops are popping up. We love Harwood Arms. Amenities - the pool views are nice - 270ish degree view of dallas skyscrapers. I also like the multiple grills and the gym. It's not a robust gym with a peloton, but it has a good amount. Lastly I like the small things like the extra storage space for $50/month in the basement of the garage and different contests (I won the free lunch for my hospital). I haven't used it yet, but it doesn't expire apparently. I recommend this place and wish I could own one of these apartments. read more

I recently moved from NY to Dallas Glass house which is great. I had an issue with my movers when they arrived, they were giving me a hard time unloading my items off the truck. Bryan Roberson at the front desk was so supportive he immediately asked if I needed help and proceeded to assist with getting the boxes unloaded and to my apartment, this was no small task. I must say Bryan really went above and beyond, I was really impressed and grateful he offer his assistance without any hesitation. Bryan is amazing and I want to recognize him for all his support. My first apartment by myself straight out of college. Great pool close access to everything in downtown. Extremely safe. Parking is great. Concierge desk is great. They even know you by your name when you walk by. Buying a home that's the only reason I'm leaving. Would be worried about moving somewhere else and not getting the same quality service. read more

This is a great apartment in an excellent location. There is a 24-hour door person and you have to use a key fob to enter the elevators. I feel extremely safe when staying here. I love the touch of the Tassimo in the lobby. They have a good variety of tea, coffee, espresso, latte and cappuccino options. This is definitely a perk and I enjoy grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning on my way in and out. The rooms are well laid out. I love the floor to ceiling Windows. The kitchen is spacious and had plenty of counter and storage place. The kitchen island is an added bonus. I can't wait to utilize the pool and exercise space! read more

The Glasshouse is Top Notch! Living here won't disappoint as literally ever single aspect of this experience was above and beyond. You'll notice some residents have lived here since the day they opened, and most only move out because they bought a house or are leaving the area. I feel like my rent money was well spent mostly due to the accommodating and friendly staff and management (2018- 2019). These guys do EVERYTHING they can to help with your needs. From the day I came to tour the property until 9 days before my move, everyone has been helpful and assisted with a smile. Maintenance, staff, and residents here are the best out of anywhere I have ever lived! The staff was better than my property where I pay an $1095 a month HOA. I'm a sky rise living gal, since the day I've been living on my own, and they win out of best experience of all times. Apartment: The apartments are loft style with 12 foot ceilings (I was on a premium floor), exposed cement ceilings, my bedroom was an interior room without any windows. That was my favorite part! My room was so dark for sleeping in on the weekends, I loved it! Kitchen have a very nice finish to them, overall I loved the look of the apartments here. Only complaint I have is that the walls are thin if you have a noisy neighbor. One sided I didn't hear a thing (Neighbor with a small yappy dog-impressive) but the other side the neighbor was noisy making me believe that his sound system was for a very large house, not an apartment. Concierge Team: Professional and helpful. They work really hard to keep the packages organized, every time I had a package delivery they were able to get it within a minute. They always helped me with the door, getting a cart, getting into a uber, etc. Just friendly, personable people working at this place. Making the place a really nice place to call home. Pool/Club Room: The club room is beautiful, I have hosted my Friendsgiving, Easter, and Steelers parties here. Really great place to get a lot of people together and throw a party when you don't want to go to the bar. The pool also has beautiful views, pool attendant in the summer which really helps with crowd control. Safety: Since I am a single woman, safety is super important. Pros: 1. Great views IF you get a good unit. However, some units have views that are obstructed. 2. Great architecture - cool concrete ceilings, floor to ceiling windows. These are some of the best looking, most modern apartments in Dallas. 3. Friendly concierge, leasing agents. 4. Quality tenants - lots of nice, classy people. I rarely hear noise from neighbors. 5. Fun pool in the summer. 6. No safety issues. 7. Building is extremely well maintained. 8. The location is decent. Though not particularly close to much, nearly everything I would want to walk to is within about 1.5 miles. Whole Foods is so close! 9. Maintenance fixes everything promptly. 10. The new manager is super nice and makes an effort to get to know all the residents. Cons: 1. Inflexible lease terms - transfers are only possible after 6 months and then only for $2000. 2. Very little storage space in bathrooms - only two tiny drawers in the vanities. 3. The shades are very thin. At night, city lights shine right through. During the day, the SW sun is brutal, even with the shades down. 4. The gym is not as nice as at other high rises I have seen. It is small, dark, and just looks at a courtyard. I loved living at The Glass House. It was a great experience thanks to the caring and amazing staff and neighbors. Theresa and her team were always helpful and accommodating, especially when I had to sadly break my lease due to an unexpected job relocation by my agency. The maintenance staff was always very responsive and prompt with my requests. And last but definitely not least, the concierge staff is second-to-none, Steven, Kerry, Roman, and Cynthia. Always courteous, kind and looking out for the residents. I highly recommend living here. I sure will if I ever end up moving back to Dallas. read more

Don't even think about it regardless of what you hear. Let me start off by saying that I've lived here for five years. Clearly, this building had a lot to offer in provoking that kind of loyalty and many of those things remain. There's still a best-in-town concierge staff and an incredible maintenance team. But the gross negligence in management is starting to overwhelm the things that made this place great as the building ages and management is more relevant to the overall experience than before, and it's really hit absurdity following the recent damage. Suddenly, staff are verbally combative and physically threatening in interacting with residents and continue to make promises that are both unreliable and incongruent with the building's branding as a turnkey, luxurious experience. Living here is a net negative in getting through one's day. Feeling like a burden in requesting a modicum of respect in scheduling repairs may have been the new normal as of late, but the extent of management's failing concern for residents has become readily apparent through their behavior in the face of crisis. Residents are made to feel obligated to endure incessant unit inspections and discussions with contractors in hopes of securing the restoration of basic amenities - we're talking things like running water - only to return home to find nothing has been done and that further vacuous discussions will be required the next day to secure the same result. Most everyone has had it, but don't believe for a second we didn't see this coming. read more

FOR PEOPLE STAYING HERE BY CORPORATE HOUSING: -our first day here, a girl from the front desk took us up to our apartment and said here it is. Do you have any questions? (How about, where is the gym? Where do I put my trash? Where do I park? Where do I check my mail?) -our unit had no light fixture on the ceiling of the main living space making it SO dark. No one could explain to me why there was not one, but I was able to get a couple of extra lamps from the corporate housing company. -the apartment is furnished and you are supplied with all of the kitchen basics. It is nice that there is a washer and dryer in the unit. -you are not informed if you receive a package. A friend sent me a surprise package for my birthday and I did not get it until two weeks later when I went to go pick up a package I was expecting. -noise level is pretty low which is surprising for how many yappy dogs there are. -there are always available spots in the garage to park. It does not seem to be monitored, so you could probably have your friends park in the garage too -we got 60 days of corporate housing free and then after that we have to start paying $6500/month. read more

I've been here for 3 month and so far so good. Me, my wife and my boy are fully happy and satisfied. Entrance, floor, parking garage, trash shooter, any of shared spaces are clean and well managed, my room is always quiet even I've seen so many pets on the floor and the entrance. The concierge and management are so nice, warm and very supportive. Especially Tony and Amanda are always so kind and accommodating, they make us very comfortable. After one month, I have to say, the Glass House by Windsor has surpassed our expectations. We began the process of finding the right place to live, several months in advance. The Glass House by Windsor was the first building we visited, and as such, set the standard for all others we visited. While we visited other properties we liked, none seemed to wow us in quite the same way that Glass House did, so when we approached the time for us to sell our house and make the move, we reached back out to Glass House, and began working with Ariel. Ariel could not have been more helpful. She answered all of our questions quickly, and professionally. And guided us through the process of completing necessary paperwork, as well as the logistics of moving in. Since our move, she continues to check in with us, and make sure there are no issues. All of the Glass House employees have been warm and friendly, from the concierge desk to the maintenance team. Their ability to quickly learn the names of tenants in order to address us personally, is amazing. I expect that in any apartment building, there are going to be one or two things that you don't particularly enjoy. In terms of our particular situation, we've only experienced one, and that would be the pool area. If you are a twenty-something who enjoys a party atmosphere at the pool, then you will likely enjoy the pool area here. But for older residents, you may find that Saturday and Sunday afternoons may be a bit too much for you. The pool area fills up, with many of the folks seemingly being non-residents. The edges of the pool are lined with beer cans, and some of the people down there are of the belief that they should act as the pool DJ, so they bring speakers down and play their music for all others to hear. That said, it really does appear to only be an issue on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Somewhere around 5 o'clock, this group head in, and the other residents emerge and a much more subdued atmosphere takes over. On weekdays, the area is pretty calm, as well. While I may find it a bit of a nuisance, I understand that building management has to walk a fine line of not being overly strict, and it would appear they've done so, as it really is limited to certain hours. And even during those hours I wouldn't describe the area as debaucherous or anything. It's simply not a calm atmosphere. I think my only real issue, would be with the music. If they could keep people from playing music for the entire pool, I think it would help to calm the atmosphere. That's it. One, largely selfish issue. The residents are all friendly. The property is well maintained. The views from the floor to ceiling windows are amazing. And, the area continues to grow, so there are more and more places opening up within walking distance. I think if I had to sum it up...I've been to many apartment communities where the building management treated tenants as though management were doing them a favor by allowing them to live there. At Glass House by Windsor, you don't get that feeling. They seem to really care about the tenants, and strive to keep them as long term residents. read more

I rated it 4 stars because one of the computers in the business room downstairs never connects to the internet and I had trouble connecting to the movie theater screen downstairs as well. Other than that this place is in a great location and everyone in the building is so nice. They have tons of events however I wish they had more on site. The staff was extremely accommodating, the room was beyond any reproach and the manager was organizing events and monitoring everything to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. I lived at the Glass House for 3 years and was honestly devastated to move out. The only reason we moved out was for our dogs to have more space. I can't say enough amazing things about the girls who work downstairs. Taunee is an amazing property manager and is always kind and beyond accommodating for any and all concerns. The concierge desk is awesome thanks to Mr. Walz, who is a rockstar at any need or service you could possibly want...plus he's extremely kind and funny. He always makes going to the lobby a bright spot in your day. Anytime I had something that needed to be fixed it was always done the same day. I lived in two different units and both were extremely clean when I moved in. No hiccups. The views are amazing and I loved the layouts. I'm not sure about the complaints on here as I lived on two different floors and never had an issue with noise. There are a lot less young people in the building since I moved in 3 years ago, but the management always handled things wonderfully and quickly when there was an issue. You will get that with any building in Uptown...but I never experienced it to the level of some of these reviews. I also worked out of my unit so I was around a lot! The facilities were always clean and loved the workout room. All around if we ever sold our house, I would move back into Glass House in a heartbeat! OMG live on a box if there's no other alternative to this building; where do I begin? There's always someone trashed at the pool in the lobby or in the hall. The weekends are like animal house. Residents cant get a seat at the pool or a spot in the garage because of the guests. Some just walk in through the garage and get in through the stairs and prop the door open for others. Too any dogs in a small area makes the outside smell like a zoo. Noise noise noise. Just derelict people trying to live up yo image. There's always an eviction for noise or failure to pay rent. Lots of wanna bes. 30k per year millionaires. Just tacky. I'm giving two stars for the spectacular view facing west. It's breathtaking. read more

I moved to Dallas not knowing anyone and he helped me with things most concierge wouldn't care to do such as introductions which lead to making new friends and helping me with finding a job.
