My husband can't have whey protein, so I'll swap that out for either the vanilla or chocolate plant protein. Also, Playa Bowl has a good variety of milk alternatives - oat, almond, cashew, and coconut (I haven't come across cashew milk often). My go-to orders are a Playola Cold Brew or an Oatmeal Bowl. I like getting the oatmeal bowls because I don't eat oatmeal frequently enough to warrant buying a whole cannister of steel cut oats from the grocery store, which will then just get stale in the pantry at home. Plus I like the toppings of each of the three variants they have (there's also a fourth option of a custom oatmeal bowl). I get their cold brew when I'm in the mood for chicory coffee.

The day is also its anniversary as a company, with this year being its 13th in operation. Recently we've been on a boba kick and have been going to the Montclair location multiple times this month. I order through the app to earn points and check out deals. My partner goes with Taro Mill Green Tea with 2x tapiocas and less ice. I try to order different things to try out because KFT has a variety of drinks - the milk teas, classics, punches, yogurts, coffees, teas, slushes - and a variety of toppings and ways to customize. The app makes it easy to customize. Some drinks I liked are Winter Melon Mill Green Tea with Bubble, Rosehips Milk (Early Grey) Tea, Hot Taro Milk Tea with Bubble, Guava Black Tea with Crystal Bubble and Mango Jelly. The shop is off of Bloomfield Ave. It's cute inside with an illustration wall and board games for customers staying there to hang out. Kung Fu Tea has become our go-to. Highly recommended!
