This was my first visit to Sea Change. I ordered one of their Irish Red Ales. The server…read morereturned shortly to say that they were changing the kegs so she suggested I try the Death Wave light lager. It was okay but not memorable, it was also served with too much of a crown. For food I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken which they describe as a classic "Vietnamese Banh Mi style sandwich by our friends at Pho & Bun". I'm assuming Pho and Bun is a ghost restaurant in the same building but I don't know. Either way it was very good. The sandwiche was Just the right size. The others at my table ordered similar sandwiches such as the pulled port and the feature. There was also a couple of vegan choices and my daughter appeared to be pleased with hers. They have only two appetizers; pretzels and something they called "drift chips" which are probably fries. Inside it's very casual and not particularly large. They use long tables that are similar to picnic tables to accommodate various sizes of groups. There are some smaller tables too, as well as an outside patio. We enjoyed ourselves and the small size of the place kept the atmosphere pleasant. There are several other brew pubs in the area so they have a lot of competition. They get 5 stars for the food, and 3 stars for the beer. I can recommend Sea Change. Hopefully the other beer selections are a bit more interesting.

However for food maybe a 3? If not a 2.5. We ordered the buffulo spinach dip to share. My friend had the pork vermicelli bowl and I had og delux sandwich which contained Pork Belly, Pork Terrine, Pork Ham, Liver Paté, Mayo. Food was passable but not great. The spinach dip was kinda bland and there was huge pieces of whole spinach in it which made it hard to eat. I did not find it spicy at all. My friend was okay with her dish but the noodles were totally overcooked. And my sandwich was find but slapped together messily and not evenly. As you can see in my photo this is how it was presented to me which didn't make a good impression. The chef should have known better. It tasted fine, but I had to ask for a knife to push the meat down and spread out the pate. This wouldn't of been hard for the chef to do. I would probably come here for a beer but I wouldn't order food here. Go eat somewhere else that takes pride in what they serve.

No one was in here on a Friday night which should have been an indication of the place but we stayed :) Service was non exsistant even though there was us and another table and two people at the bar. Limited menu. I had the fish burrito wrap and my friend had the pizza both were just okay. The fish actally was cooked well but the whole burrito is super bland. I had to ask for a lot of hot sauce. No ambiance, not great food and no service really I won't come back here unless they figure thier stuff out. Way too many good restaurants in this area to waste it on one that is not. Not a recommendation from me.

They love to support local and only carry draft beers from local breweries. Their plan is to start brewing their own beer here shortly. They brought in a chef with extensive training in Italian food, who created the entire menu. They can proudly say that all of their menu items are prepared fresh from scratch. All the beers tasted fresh and our favorites were; Shiddy's Wild Peach Pie (only available here) and Chase Your Tail Nut Brown Ale were our favorites. I wanted to try the Dog Parks and Rec Raspberry Ale but unfortunately, they were sold out. All the beers tasted fresh. The Caesar was nice and had a kick to it which I enjoyed. You can tell all of their food is fresh and tastes quite good, the spices and aromatics of the Chicken & Fennel made it one of our favorites. The Classic Margherita Pizza was delicious. The chef uses a high-water content dough, that when cooked perfectly comes out light and fluffy and a nice crisp to the crust but not greasy. The dough to toppings and sauce ratio was perfect, this dish is a definite winner. As they have just opened, they are working on procuring some Canadian themed artwork to hand on their walls.

What a hoot! I had a smile on my face from the moment we walked in til we left. There's nothing like being time warped into the 1970s and watching old cartoons and advertisements on the TVs while eating your dinner or having a drink. Everything from the color scheme to the light fixtures to the trinkets collected behind the bar screams 1970s, and made for a fun, goofy, comforting nostalgia. We started with drinks at the bar while we waited for a table. They have a good selection of local brews as well as cocktails. Even the names of the drinks made me smile. I got the "dirty shiddy martini." Then we moved to our table in the "rumpus room." The menu is no-frills and straightforward. Not a ton of options, but you're there for a burger! They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options to make everyone happy. We each got a burger Alabama style, split some fries with "flat sauce," and added a giant pickle on a stick for shids and giggles. Delicious, it all hit the spot! Staff is friendly and quick. It will be busy when you go so just enjoy the experience!

I love the muffuletta sandwich (which in Edmonton is hard to find unless you buy the stuff and make it yourself). This pizza included red sauce base, house giardiniera (olives, capers, celery, red pepper, cauliflower, shallot and carrots), mozzarella and provolone cheese, mortadella, capicollo, Genoa salami, and prosciutto. It was finished with red wine vinaigrette. We also tried the animal fries which are their house fries with beer cheese sauce and griddled onions. I am not a huge fan of mustard, so a skipped the ODD sauce and instead substituted this with the spicy queso sauce. Great selection of beer. However, I am on medication where I shouldn't have alcohol and was disappointed that they don't have any near beers available. I understand that it is a huge production to brew it, however, I think that perhaps some cans of another company's could be available to drink. I instead got a fruit spritzer which was fine, but with pizza a beer would have been so much better. Our server was friendly and helpful and our food came quickly. It was really tasty. Nice crust on the pizza and a decent amount of toppings. Fries were yummy too. Great cut on the fries, loved the amount of onions on it and the queso cheese was good, but for the upcharge I would have liked better. Pretty basic in terms of ambiance. Had that yuppy looking steel and wood vibe feel. Not comfortable seating at all. I may not come here with friends because it doesn't feel like a place to relax. However, it looks like they do have a nice patio which would be enjoyable. Check it out! Especially if you can drink the beer,

This menu is meant for sharing. We decided to split some dishes - the tuna crudo, the meatballs with grilled foccacia, and the cauliflower. There was some hits and some misses. The hits first - tuna crudo was great with fermented mango, coconut milk and sesame crackers. Fresh and exciting. The second one I loved was the meatballs. The sauce was amazing and meatballs were full of flavour. Make sure you order the bread to soak up all the sauce. These two I would totally recomend. The two that were disappointing was the cauliflower. It comes as a whole head and the idea is that you cut it into pieces. So the sauce doesn't really penetrate the cauliflower and the sauce was okay but seemed to berry forward. The pizza was worse. Barely any toppings except an obsene amount of arugla which didn't add anything to the dish. I had three peices and there was only two measly small peices of chicken. It also lacked flavour. Skip these. Saying that I would come here again to try some other things. But save your stomach and don't order the pizza.
