Tough putting, narrow fairways, lots of trees, and a foot or so off the fairway and you'll never find your ball! Water traps, very windy after 11am, bunkers right where you don't want them, oak trees in the fairways, A TOUGH COURSE! But, if you want a challenge - then get a tee time and see if you don't lose your cool.

Tee boxes were groomed and in good shape but no defined gold tees, we played from the whites. Fairways accepted your good drives, second shots were usually challenging and guarded by menacing eucalyptus and oak trees. Large deep bunker's protected the treacherous greens If your ball was above the pin, it most likely was going to roll off unless it found the bottom of the cup. They're were a few holes that were unplayable today because of the greens. Would like to see gold tees added to all the tee boxes, there's room. Beautiful course and surrounding grounds abundant wild life will be watching you. Bring on the gold and we'll back.

We teed off behind a dad and a a daughter, played 1 hole behind them then they let us play through because the dad lost a club. At this time I noticed a two-some playing hole #9 walk to hole #4 cutting in front of us. Me and my buddy had to wait five minutes plus on hole #4 tee box before we could tee off because the two-some was actively hitting their approach shot and putting out. I called in to the pro-shop 4 separate times to get assistance with this issue and NOBODY answered the phone except one time where it was answered for a brief second and then abruptly hung up. After the round I went in to ask what happened and the guy behind the desk said and I quote "I was busy". You would think that if there was 4 back to back phone calls there might be an issue. If this is what Twin Lakes Golf Course has accepted as their normal I will no longer be recommending and or using their facilities any longer. 7 years ive gone here, NEVER ONCE have I been so blatantly disrespected by the staff.

The tables were set up very well. They had round gold paper as table mats which I'm not sure was necessary. The appetizer service was good. They came around about 2 or 3 times to offer meatballs, jalapeño poppers, deviled eggs and bruschetta topped with tomatoes and olives. The appetizers were standard for weddings. They weren't spectacular but they were appreciated. My least favorite was the deviled eggs which I normally love but they didn't prepare it well. The salad was just that salad mix you but at Costco. The waitress literally threw the plate at my husband and I. I think she was on a rush but seriously! The bread rolls were warm and I like the everything seasoning on it. The main dish was good! It was a thick, juicy chicken with melted cheese on top. The grilled veggies were also very good. The potatoes on the side were not bad. The service was alright except for that one incident.
