Pretty good. Not like on the Malones level but probably the best thing in downtown corbin. I wish…read morethat was saying a lot. The steak was ok. I was a little annoyed that it was lunch and I was told that they only have mashed potatoes for dinner when my coworkers freaking meal CAME WITH mashed potatoes. But oh well. The server was a nice lady. Prior to going in I was sitting in the back lot waiting on my coworker and saw a guy pull up and go in the restaurants back door completely bare foot and then come out a few seconds later. So that was strange. Either way, if you have to eat downtown corbin, this is worth the visit.

It's pretty dark inside but the lighting fixtures they have are very unique! Wear a lighter layer under your coat/sweater cause it is pretty toasty in there. Our waitress took our order only to find out the prime rib that was advertised out front wasn't available - so she retook everyone's order about 5 minutes later and what I assume was the manager came out to apologize. He stated that he kept reminding the staff to flip the specials out front, assuming this is a reoccurring problem. Three out of six ordered the cowboy ribeye (another advertised special) and it was the same quality you'd get going to Waffle House, unfortunately. The fat wasn't rendered properly leading to rubbery texture and there wasn't a proper sear. 2/10 The other three of us picked the bowl of potato soup (6/10), Philly Cheese Sandwich (9/10), and Shrimp Scampi (7/10). The potato soup was pretty standard and could've used a little more seasoning. When I took my leftovers home, I added onion & garlic powder, kinders the blend, and salt & pepper and it was perfect! Shrimp Scampi tasted good but the noodles were well past Al dente. Not a big deal for the person who ordered it but something to note if you're a texture person. Overall, it was mediocre service (I think our server was new) and hit or miss food. It would be a great place to stop and grab some drinks at the bar, though.

We were traveling and decided we wanted some lunch that wasn't fast food. So I chose this place…read morefor us. The service was adequate and fast. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas Rollup but I didn't like it because it wasn't like a fajita at all to me and that was what I was expecting. It had too much rice in it for my taste. My granddaughter ordered the 8oz sirloin steak and ate most of it because she liked it and my sister ordered the Chips and Queso Dip. The dip was good.

Clean and spacious as one would expect, we sat at a high top in the bar area. Our server was professional and checked on us often. Our starter of a cup of Tomato Basil Soup was a perfect blend of tomato and herbs topped with a nicely melted Parmesan for a spectacular cheese pull and seasoned bread crumbs. My main of 6 oz. Top Sirloin (medium rare), crispy onion rings, and creamy Cole slaw was really nicely seasoned and juuuust enough salt. The other Applebee's w've visited were salt bombs on everything. Not this Applebees. My steak was cooked closer to medium, but may have just continued cooking prior to delivery to our table. Still a lovely dark pink and juicy. My husband's grilled Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Garlicky Green Beans was so well seasoned and delicious! I'm not a fan of Chicken Breast, but his was juicy and well seasoned! I could have eaten the whole thing! Corbin is lucky to have an Applebee's of this caliber. Located just off I-75 at exit 25 (south Corbin), it's a great chain restaurant that actually delivers on great flavors and atmosphere!

We wanted to attend the Billiards Tournament but it was canceled due to illness. This place is more an event venue that what you would expect for a restaurant. It has two full bars inside, a outside tiki bar, a large dance floor and outside stage. So if you enjoy concerts and other similar events, this place is for you. This may be suited best for large groups. Also if they are having a concerts, if you just plan on having a drink, (Cover is $12.00) don't expect to get in if you are not interested in the concert. it wold be more geared toward, girls night out, game night or karaoke, it may be a great place. Beer was ok, and food was average, nothing bad, just not my atmosphere.

My margarita was bad, tasted piney. Baked potato was huge and very tasty. Coleslaw was very good. French fries were hot, soft, and not crisp. The building is really awesome. An actual ice house converted into a large area with a stage for band, and another smaller room. We enjoyed the decor and ramp to use. Cute outhouse at entrance by the ramp. Service was excellent as we were the only customers at 4:00 pm. Very friendly.

I saw several of my Yelp friends recommend a stop at the Museum and I was all in. I could hardly contain my excitement, seeing the iconic bucket marquee. Outside, in the perfectly manicured lot, stand petroleum artifacts from the Sanders early days as a gas station owner. A historical plaque describes the site. The Museum stands where Harland Sanders (the Colonel) once owned a small neighborhood restaurant, called Sanders. Here, his famous fried chicken took root. Inside, is a modern KFC counter. I be placed my order and was given a beeper. The Museum is filled with artifacts from 1940's to present including Sanders furniture, kitchen ware and an evolution of KFC logo packaging and trinkets. My favorite part of the exhibit was a video of Sanders describing how to prepare his chicken. I was truly inspired by his story as an entrepreneur. My lunch was fresher than any KFC that I had ever had. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The coleslaw was so brightly colored that I knew it was made within the hour. And the potatoes took me back to my childhood. We spent about an hour total at the museum. There is no charge, except your meal. Restrooms are clean. The museum is fun and interesting. I highly recommend a stop, especially if you're a KFC fan.
