Went here with a group of people, and I dug this place. We came here on a Friday evening, and the parking lot was full. It is a small lot, so finding a space may be difficult. We arrived at The Mile and it is a basic bar, so it's a comfortable atmosphere. It is larger than expected as well with the bar area and a separate dining room. We were seated promptly as soon as we arrived in the dining room. Our waitress was awesome and made us feel welcomed. She would talk with us snd give her opinions on the menu if we needed help deciding. They have a pretty awesome beer selection. They have a ton of great craft beer options. The food was your typical bar food, but it was great. We got the nachos as a starter and they were a good beginning to the meal. It had a good amount of cheese and chicken on top of it. I got the Durkee chicken cheese steak and that was good. The chicken was actual grilled chicken and not that cheap thin slice mock steak chicken. Great food and great beer selection! read more

The owner is a real great guy, and the food is really good. I've had the cauliflower tacos (the bomb), and the turkey sliders. I also love that they have 5 oz beer glasses (I like to pretend to drink beer, can't finish a full one). My only complaint is the prices. Cheap!! Good quality food, and the price doesn't match. Definitely one of my new favorite local spots! I had been wanting to stop here for some time and finally got the chance a few days ago. There weren't many people there when I went (probably because it was a monday afternoon). We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by a waitress. I wasn't sure what beer to drink and she was very helpful with assisting me in choosing a beer I would like. There is a large beer selection and this overwhelmes me sometimes- so someone guiding me in the right direction is most appreciated! We stayed and had some lunch. The food is reasonably priced and they have a nice assortment of items to choose from. We ordered the fried mac-n-cheese balls as an appetizer. They were very large, cheesy and fried crisp. Yum yum! I ordered The Mile Burger for my entree (which came with fries) and my boyfriend ordered the hot roast beef which came with a side of homemade potato chips. Both meals were equally good. The food was fresh and made well. Our 4 drinks, 2 entrees and an appetizer came to around $50. Perfect! It's nice to have a new place around here to hang out and have some drinks. My first time here and definitely last. My burger was so incredibly dry, I had asked for medium well and the burger was charred. Mayo helped a little, but still not very satisfying. The Buffalo chicken dip was boring, just chicken with Buffalo sauce on it and it looks as though they put it in the melt, for what reason I don't know because there was no cheese on it at all. Cheese steak egg rolls also didn't have cheese, which was weird and they had a strange after taste. Beers were the only good thing, service was lacking and we often couldn't find our server when we needed something. Overall, I won't be back. read more

This pub and kitchen is a jewel in South Jersey. The food and beverages are outstanding. A+ on comfort food and libations! There are 36 beers on tap. I had to set a limit before I started, with German, Irish, and Canadian drafts. Very clean and popular duplex setup here. There are separate entrances for the bar (spacious, rectangular bar and high boys), that flows down a couple of steps to a quieter, split level restaurant (12 tables, well appointed, cloth napkins, flatware) with a double dedication to both pub & kitchen design. What I love about the beer here (did I mention the beer yet?) is the true variety in style: Porters, Hefeweizen, Stouts, Ales, and Lagers. All on tap! A lot of pubs and microbreweries offer 27 IPAs and and a then a double IPA. Truly diversified at The Mile. I had a trio of 5 ounce drafts: Smithwicks Red Ale (Ireland), Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen (Germany), Conshohocken Mr Robusto Porter(US-NJ). Two home-skillet faves that I never order in a restaurant are now on my must order list at The Mile: Meatloaf with mashies & green beans, and the Chicken Pot Pie (CPP). The CPP is the best I've ever had. Perfect crust, al dente potatoes, carrots and fresh green peas. When the food is this good in a bar, I don't take pics, just eat and hope others do not discover the secret. But the cats out of the bag now. Come early. The preparer makes a set amount meat loaf and pot pies. When they're gone, it's 86 for the night. read more

What a great local spot! Only reason for the 4 stars was because one of our dishes was not hot. Our server was very nice and checked on us when she could but it was very busy and she was running around trying to take care of most of the tables. Went with another couple and ended up getting two apps (made as one persons meal); south philly wontons and fried pickles. Both great, added ketchup with the wontons and dipped the fried pickles in the chipotle mayo it came with. Entrees were ; shepherds pie , chicken cheesesteak, and a hangover burger. Personally, I think the chicken salad is hands down one of the best I've ever had and the macaroni salad they offer as a side is as homemade as Grandmas! Beer was cold with a large selection. Jenn had the mile burger for $6 which came with fries and a nice size burger. I was a bit impressed with her meal. I got the pork sandwich with cheese and roasted red peppers. It was packed full of juicy pork on a nice hard sub roll. I almost didn't finish it. Beers flowed and good times were had. So I finally gave in & stopped to give this neighborhood spot a try. It wasn't bad at all. (I live down the block) Check out my thoughts below Food- From the photos you can tell the wings didn't last too long! My burger was good. My favorite part are the chips (perfect time to skip on the fries) trust me! You can never go wrong with Tots. Ordered a roast beef sandwich, it was a little too salty for my liking. Customer service- Great! My cup of water & soda never were left empty. The servers are very pleasant. From when you walk in to when you walk out. Good job ladies & gents! Atmosphere- it can be loud but what do you expect, the place is a bar. However, they do have a dining room ( super cute! ) it separates the bar and gets a little more intimate. My fav. I drove past the place twice before I realized where it was lol The outside definitely doesn't do the place justice. Inside is huge and appears to be newly renovated. Just stopped in to check it out. Order a beer , Flying Fish seasonal (great selection of beers, especially local) and had the "On the Run" bowl. AHHMMAZING!!! It's my new favorite dish in life. Great food and even better atmosphere!!! We ordered mozzarella sticks and wings as an appetizer. The wings were great and the sauce that accompanied the sticks was great!! I ordered the The Mile Burger and it was the best burger I've had to date! I'm a huge burger person and order one whenever we go out and this one was the absolute best! A friend of mine decided to stop in for a quick bite. We didn't get a table we sat the bar. Our bartender was very pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately I can not remember her name but our visit was on 10/22. Excellent beer selection and great food. I had the triathlon of tacos. Even the weird vegan one was awesome. The bar was clean and the atmosphere was great unlike the old dumpy Irish Mile. They are fairly close to a few other great bars so hopefully they stay on top of their game. This is, hands down, one of my favorite places since moving to Runnemede. I was here probably 20 times pre-Covid....sat at the bar with friends, went with my wife, with family, sat in the dining room, etc. and the service has been far above expectations for a bar. The food is always consistently good. I've also had delivery via 3rd party pre and post Covid restrictions, and the same care is taken with packaging to-go orders. This can't be stressed enough....they don't care if you're inside or on your couch, they will deliver the best they can every time. Food was fabulous but service completely vile. Don't expect to be treated nice unless you sit at the bar and make corny pick up lines at the uninterested bartenders. I was never checked on by my waitress unless I stood up to get her attention. No refills, long wait time for food, and every time I asked my waitress for something, it felt like I was bothering her... even though it's her job to grab me extra ketchup for my fries . Overall I thought this new place was very nice. They had been open about a month when we first tired them and I was pleasantly surprised. The decor inside was great. They beer list was more than plenty and the wait staff was wonderful. The food was right in line with what other restaurants of its kind would serve. A nice edition to the area. The beer selection is off the chains. However, when we seem to go they tend to be out of a lot of the beers we first request and can't seem to update their weekly menu when that happens (this might've changed since we've last been). My husband and I often stopped at The Mile, since they opened, on Friday evenings on our way to the Jersey shore during the off season- after we finished work & would get on the road for our 2 hr. drive. The Mile is about 1/2 way for us. It often fit the bill: get on the road about 5:30 pm, stop for a bite by 6:30 pm (waiting until 7:30 pm was too late for us at this point in our lives:-) and the food was always good & price reasonable too. They would be busy but food & service was always consistent & good. We use to rent our shore property during the summer season & did not travel that route- in season. We are no longer renting but had to do one of 2 hr. eve. trips. This time it was a Wednesday eve. It was not the busy Fri. eve. crowd but found the service & food just as fabulous. I love their tacos. And get a fish & shrimp taco w/glass of Chard. My husband varies his food choice but has never been disappointed! I often try fish tacos at many places & find The Mile's to be much better than higher priced places I've been to! Great job to those at The Mile. We hope you are able to continue what you are doing. Placed this order via Door Dash and the following is a rating on both. Food first: The trio tacos were Awesome, loved the combination of flavors. I can't tell you how long it's taken me to find that official go-to place to eat, drink, and more importantly, just chill. The Mile can officially claim all of the above. We've been coming here since the fall and can't say I've ever had one bad meal. My personal favorite is the pulled pork sandwich although if you're a taco person, they also have an incredible selection of tacos that include one particular popular choice; the Philly cheesesteak tacos. Oh and did I mention the wings are the best in the area? I don't care whether you believe me or not, I can promise you that they are the real deal! I always go with the buffalo, but they also have many other flavors to choose from. And I suppose the beer selection is pretty rock solid as well. Typically, the beer tap menu changes frequently, which makes it even better to try something new each time. Being that I'm a big craft beer guy, I'm not complaining. Decided to check out this spot after hearing good things about it. They have many different beers from all over. The bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. They know how to make cocktails without having to Google!! We ordered drinks and food, best part we didn't have to wait forever to get our food and drinks. The food was delicious! Wanted to try the new place in town! Saw good things on social media, walked in and wasnt greeted by anyone! The bar was busy. Ended seating ourselves in the lower dining room right next to a server at a table. She proceeded to walk away and walk by us numerous times. Also another worker female came from the kitchen and didnt acknowledge us. Finally the server looked at us in passing and asked if we needed menus. 10 mins went by and she didnt return. Needless to say for being in a place for 25 mins and barely being acknowledged. We got up and left and I can say that being in the restaurant business I wont be returning! read more

I've been here twice for lunch and dinner and both times were great! For lunch I got the chicken salad sandwich and dinner I got the Italian meal for one salad. I'm not much of a drinker so I cannot comment on the bar itself although both it and the restaurant section look great. My only complaint is both times, service was a little bit slow, although I could chalk that up to new staff (at the time) and how busy it was. This place is a hidden gem. The burgers are phenomenal and reasonably priced. My favorite is the burger topped with pulled pork and coleslaw. Wings are great too. They offer lots of great craft beers both local and out of state choices. I'm a frequent patron to this establishment and I don't see that changing any time soon. read more

Me and my boyfriend came here after doing a little Black Friday shopping. The first thing I noticed was the unique shape of the bar which seemed to offer a ton of seating! We sat down and ordered some wings which truth be told were pretty great. I would definitely come back here The Mile's wings. My boyfriend ordered a sandwich and I ordered the Born to Run wrap which was huge! The only issue I had with the wrap was that it was a bit dry and would have been great with an actual side of salsa. The fries that went along with it were good and they had a great beer selection. We'll definitely be coming back here! read more

Nice place, formerly Antonietta's Bistro. Remodelled into a contemporary bar/ restaurant but without the same old same old as the chain joints. Very good variety of craft beer on draft at reasonable prices. Have visited several times since they opened. Only gripe I have is the acoustics. Every surface in the place reflects sound resulting in an intolerable noise level. So loud that one has to yell at your server to be heard and likewise they have to yell back. Loud enoug to be painful. As I understand it, the owners are aware of this, but apparantly have done nothing to mitigate the problem. Unfortunate. I'll not be coming back due to this. I've been there a few times just for drinks because they have an amazing craft beer selection. Still too many IPAs on the menu for my taste, but they offer more of an assortment of darker beers and Belgians than most. On my most recent visit, I finally tried the food. I sat at the bar as usual and the service was phenomenal like always. Food was prompt and very tasty. I had a variety of tacos and they were extremely flavorful, I'm not a vegetarian but I did love the veggie taco with chick peas. Unique, and delicious! read more
