Besides being charged an outrageous markup ($200 when the same thing could be purchased for $19 at a retailer) for a sling we were given at the ER, when I paid online, they charged more than a 3% fee on the transaction and there was absolutely no mention of any fees associated with a credit card on the bill or payment portal. Didn't find out about the fee until my card was processed. read more

Brought medical equipments from other companies previously, never had to sign a waiver. However, bought cervical traction device from Medcom Group, this company will submit claims as rental instead of a purchase claim. Additionally, 1. Medcom Group requires you to sign a waiver - Medcom Group knew ahead that the device does not cover by insurance. Then they blamed the insurance company, said it's the insurance company that makes Medcom Group to submit multiple rental claims. It is Medcom Group that purposely submits multiple Rental claims instead because found out insurance company online that Medcom Group submitted 5 separate rental claims. 2. The claim code used to submit to insurance company - Medcom Group knew ahead that the code insurance company does not cover and instead another similar equipment claim code will cover. Medcom Group hides the information and did not disclose the similar equipment to me. 3. Medcom Group charges same equipment for purchase more expensive than other medical equipment companies - check and compare yourself. read more

We couldn't be more pleased with the Medcom Group, my husband has had two total knee replacements and both procedures have had excellent service with Medcom. Hayley Crossley even made a special trip to adjust the CMP machine for comfort. Very happy with great care from The Medcom Group and thankful for the attention given to us in such time of need. read more

In November 2025, they replaced a hand brake cable that had broken. I was charged $40 in labor and nothing for parts as the limited five-year warranty for the cable was in effect. Less than two months later the same cable broke. When I called to ensure that they could fix it today if I brought it in, I was told that I would have to pay for parts and labor since the warranty only covers one repair per walker. That detail was not stated in my warranty information. I was transferred to the owner and was told to bring it in, and he could see what he could do. Upon arrival at the store, the owner came out of his office, made no eye contact, did not speak, and took the walker. As he was departing, I said that I had a question about the warranty. He replied, "I told you I would cover it." I said that my husband has severe MS and relies heavily on the walker. My intention was to try to understand what is and isn't covered by a warranty for a vital piece of equipment. I asked what a limited warranty covers. His reply was, "Whatever I decide to cover. If you drill out the hand brake, I won't cover it." I said that was not the case, and that we had not tried to repair the walker. He walked away with no further words. When I returned to pick up the repaired walker, I was told there would be no charge. The owner brought out the walker, asked me to test the brake, which I did and then he walked away. There was no apology. I purposefully purchased this walker from a local business, even thought it was much cheaper on Amazon. However, my experience with Mobility and Me demonstrated that they are all in on the sales, and don't want to deal with issues related to broken equipment. For people who are caring for disabled people who rely on equipment to live, this is the opposite of the type of experience we should receive.

Because of the pandemic, a major need for face masks surfaced. There haven't been enough of the n-95 masks for everyone, not even enough for the medical professionals and other front-line workers. Then people started sewing the cloth masks. I still personally couldn't find any available, but had a small supply of disposable masks my Doctor's office had given me in late February. But those are one-use masks and although I was only emerging from my home when absolutely necessary, they were running out. i heard about this store via a Louisville-oriented Facebook group I'm in. Someone was saying they had some cloth masks. So I went to that corner and drove among the businesses in the shopping area until i found this place. It's 2 doors to the left of the Nature Lab. indeed they have medical supplies of all varieties, and had a good selection of cloth masks in several sizes and colors. The white ones are $8 and the colored ones are $10. The people who work at the store and very knowledgable and helpful. They're out of hand sanitizer like everyone else but they are trying to get a shipment, by the way. I am happy to have one cloth face mask to wear and another to wear while washing it. I got a few for my daughter as well. As an older person, I was happy to see various items for people dealing with limited mobility and pain. The store is full of those types of items. They also have a large supply of compression socks.

There are no handicap spots to park in and the door is not automatic. They really need to hire more employees because both times I went in, I waited around for 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged me and helped me. One employee was more concerned about helping the people calling on the phone than actually helping the customers standing in the store. When I picked up the equipment that I rented, the gentleman who helped me was very kind and made sure it was adjusted to my height. He even loaded it into my car for me. When I dropped it back off however, the woman who helped me took the equipment out of my trunk without even closing my trunk and left me standing outside on my crutches informing me I had to go back inside to sign off on the return. Again, an issue considering I was on crutches and they do not have automatic doors. The only reason I returned the equipment early is because I found a better scooter for free to complete my two months of non weight bearing. The equipment they provided was heavy and the breaks didn't work. It was a struggle to fold up and load into the car whenever I took it anywhere. The seat was stained and cracked. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I definitely won't be a repeat customer. The only positive I can say is that the store is clean and the staff is friendly once they decide to actually help you.

And if they don't have it they are always willing to order cards in for me! Their prices are very fair and I love coming here for events I always feel welcomed and never excluded from anything. I also love that they always make sure the kids are included and treat my daughters kindly even sometimes giving gifts like little penny cost Pokemon cards which might not seem like a lot but it's so big to them and that's those kind of things that leave good memories in little children's heads. I had total knee replacement 4 weeks ago and I owe my advanced healing and mobility credit to both the game ready and Haley. My husband had shoulder surgery a couple months ago and our doctor recommended us getting a game ready machine. Haley came to the hospital and delivered the machine and when we were done using the machine she came to our home to pick it up. I just had total knee replacement done and all we had to do was call Haley and she was there within the hour and she delivered the machine to us in the hospital . This is the best machine that we've ever rented. I would highly recommend this machine to anybody. Our fitter Luke was more than helpful when my husband needed a CPM Chair after his rotator cuff surgery. Since I did not have anyone to help me get it in the house on the day of surgery, he generously offered to deliver it.
