I had a horrible experience with the salmon there, who got angry with me for not purchasing a mattress immediately. I told him it was my day looking and wanted to take my time, but he wouldn't stop following me around saying he hopes he gets credit for my purchase if I decide to comeback another day. They didn't have the mattress in store that I wanted to try so I really wanted to go find it elsewhere to test it! I did not want to blindly buy it, but he kept insisting that I do. It was horrible and I just wanted to go home and be left alone. But my boyfriend made me stop at one more place on the way home which was this Mattress Warehouse. What a night and day difference! We walked in and were immediately greeted with a kind man that introduced himself as Brian. He was very personable! He immediately brought us out covers to try out mattresses on as a COVID measure (which the other store did not have and made me very uncomfortable and wanting to immediately shower!). He let us take our time testing things out and not being in our faces with pressure to buy. He really understands how to deal with people! We ended up buying a mattress from him that night and spent nearly an hour in there just chatting with him because he was so nice and fun! Our mattress arrived a few days later at our apartment and we having been having the best nights of sleep of our lives since then! (I highly recommend the Nectar bed!!) Thank you for giving me hope that not all mattress salesmen are pushy jerks Brian!

When they delivered our new mattress yesterday we were informed there was no room on the truck for it...WTF. They told us WE had to call the store where we purchased it from to arrange pick up. They did haul it to our curb...unwrapped and have half of our driveway now blocked. We called the Downingtown store at noon and did not get an answer back until 8pm. Meanwhile it poured last night! They showed up this morning and refused to take it because it was soaking wet and unwrapped. We TOLD them it was unwrapped. We told the crew it was unacceptable. They said they would call dispatch from the truck but INSTEAD DROVE AWAY. This is still unresolved. The mattresses sit out on the curb still. DO NOT USE!

He would not leave me alone and was incredibly pushy. He kept getting mad that I did not want to purchase that day and wouldn't stop saying that he hopes he gets credit for the sale then if I come back. (I get that they work on commission but trying to guilt me into buying a mattress that I have to sleep on long term doesn't make me want to buy one just so you get your check...) He also kept telling me that he wasn't even supposed to be at that store that day, like it was supposed to my lucky day or something that he was there... It was super weird. They did not have the mattress on the floor that I was most interested in. So, I explained that I wanted to keep looking so I could really try that mattress out (I am not about to buy a mattress without feeling it first!) Boy, did that tick the salesman off (Again I get it, no one wants to here that you want to look elsewhere. But come on dude, be a decent understanding human that I don't want to blindly buy a mattress just so you get your money!) A good mattress salesman would understand this and want to help me out! And guess what, that's exactly what I found down the street at another store! A salesman that understood the importance of finding the right mattress regardless if he got credit or not!

After fighting customer service they sent us covers in the mail to put on ourselves. I complained then they sent someone out to put the covers on and they only sent the three bottom cover cushions. The tech put them on top of the old ones, but the whole couch was still fraying not just the cushions then they said that it was against our warranty. I said we bought an extended pet warranty as well. They will not fix it then it started to rip at the seams and every time someone sat on the couch the rip at the seams opened up more. They will not fix it. They will not replace it. They won't do anything so we're stuck with A busted up couch that we paid $1300 for. I canceled my Boscov's credit card. I will never buy a single thing from them ever again.

A replacement was approved. The discussion began Sept. 18, 2024. As of 12/16/2024, we still HAVE NOT received the replacement. Each time I call, and have spoken to Tom, he has had difficulty locating the service order. As I remained on the telephone, he has provided two different shipping dates 11/22/2024 and 11/27/2024. I prefer a softer bed. We got a TemperPedic right after they came out. Paid a TON of money for it, and I love it. But after 3 months her back started hurting. Back then, no returns. So after we bought a house and had an extra bedroom, we bought a new bed and went shopping for the perfect mattress. Sleep Number seemed like the answer for us. The salespeople were helpful, and assured us when we purchased the bed, that we were set. A 20 year warranty. No problems. Right. After three years, her side failed. It just wouldn't inflate. She kept her side near 100 all the time and rarely had to inflate it. I kept my side around 50 or 55, but changed it often, and would fully inflate it before we changed the sheets. If either side were to fail, I thought mine would go first. I'm also heavier than she is, by a good bit. But her side failed, so I called Sleep Number and they told me they could rep!ace her side, but the cost went up each day! Some warranty. It failed or no reason, why am I paying for it? After waiting a month without a proper refrigerator, we learned on September 28 that the shipment hadn't arrived and he "didn't know when it would." The same day, another Gerhard's employee told us the refrigerator wasn't even scheduled to arrive until November 11. We immediately went to Home Depot in King of Prussia and purchased the exact same model for nearly the same price. They had over 100 units in stock and delivered it within two days. Angela and James were honest, transparent, and incredibly helpful. Our fridge was delivered by Home Depot a couple days later and the installation and haul-away process could not have been better. The lesson: verify inventory yourself and don't rely solely on promises from commission-based salespeople. Gerhard's cost us a month of inconvenience. Home Depot solved the problem in 48 hours.
