I had the eggs benedict and my friend ordered over-hard eggs with hash and toast. We split some mixed fruit which was super fresh. The hash could've been crispier but that's a preference of mine! Everyone in the diner was very friendly and super attentive. My coffee was never empty! Would recommend if you're looking quick, yummy service!

The lady ( to better put her- white older Caucasian lady) tells me rudely not to sit next to my kids when I moved a chair to sit next to them to be able to feed them. I walked right out! The waiter asked why I was leaving ( male Hispanic) and I explained that she was very rude and she shouldn't talk to clients like that. He was very accommodating and was going to move the table so I can sit with my 4&3 year old. After she saw me leaving, she was still saying things under her breath and I caught her saying well she can't put the chair there. Just to add, no one was there but a distant lady not even sitting next to us and a family next to the entrance door ( far too). FYI, no parking and you have to pay meter. If I could, I wouldn't give this place a star- by default I couldn't save the review.. that's how bad the greeting was. Good luck Bellas

Used to come here a lot growing up. First time coming since they changed management a year ago, and…read moreI was disappointed. Came on a Saturday and was expecting there to be a long wait, especially when the lobby area had two parties waiting. I was surprised when there were at least 10 empty tables and no one at the host stand. We waited for several minutes to the point I seriously questioned if this was a What Would You Do segment and started looking for John quinones. The party of two in front of us ended up leaving when they were told the wait for 2 was 30 minutes. We decided to wait the 30 minutes, and the party of two who came in after us was told the wait was only 10 minutes. We were seated shortly after. On the menu, there's a note that the Dutch baby takes a longer time to prepare but it came out at the same time as our other food. I was again unpleasantly surprised--the speed came at the price of quality. You can see how fluffy the Dutch baby was in the pic from 12 years ago compared to today's, where it was more of a crepe than a bread "pudding". Still tasted decent after you add the lemon and powdered sugar that they give on the side, but texture was definitely lacking. The side pancakes with our other dishes were a tad salty. We did notice managers walking around, so at least management is aware that there's something they're messing up. Hopefully they figure it out because this used to be a favorite.

Over the past year or two though, the prices started to get a bit whacky so we started going less. I went today and it was awful. The food itself was okay, but there was only one poor waitstaff member for the entire restaurant. They had other people bringing out the food and drinks but the poor waitstaff member had their hands full. It took 25 minutes before our order was finally taken. I used to love the chocolate milk but now they charge the same price as before but give you a kiddie sized cup and you don't get free refills. We spoke to a staff member after we realized we didn't recognize anybody there. We were told the place had been bought out by a new management company and they cleaned house and got rid of the entire old staff, which is wild. They were all so wonderful before! The waitstaff member today was nice too, don't get me wrong, but it was crazy that all the familiar faces were gone. We were told all the kitchen workers were replaced too. Anyway, between my coworker and I, we got a cup of coffee, two eggs, 6 tiny pancakes, 3 strips of bacon, and a tiny sized chocolate milk for $39 (before adding tax and tip). Do with that what you will, but I think that's brutal. The prices have gone up too much considering they made the pancakes smaller and drinks smaller. It's just not worth it anymore.

Staff is attentive and checks in relatively often My turkey BLT today on focaccia was brimming with ingredients with nice thick bacon and juicy turkey--tasted great! Next time I'd ask them to double toast the bread but would otherwise change nothing. The fries and onion rings are fabulous-- seasoned (onion rings) perfectly, crispy and generous portion. Also, they seem to be open when lots of other places are closed.

On this somber Memorial day we needed to gather with friends and City Limits Diner was the place to go. I first became aware of City Limits when I saw the documentary of Vogue magazine's, André Leon Alley, who was a frequent customer at City Limits, before the pandemic of 2020 reeled it's ugly head. Somehow I knew, as a newly suburban transplant from Manhattan, it only made sense to visit the place that a worldly Vogue Stylist had dined as my diner destiny! City Limits is one of the most popular diners in Westchester County. You will always feel welcome here, the menu has the usual large array of typical diner menu choices, but with added flair. Every item is good, delicious and fresh. I really like a place that's always full of life, reliably consistent and welcome. Plus it doesn't hurt that a few of my favorite Yelp friends (and RL friends) frequent City Limits as well. :) 5 Easy Stars Thank you!
