When I first moved to Austin, I was referred to an agent at Marye and was very disappointed with the lack of service when I was buying my first home. It was self-service hunting with no follow-up, no neighborhood advice, and no help. My agent was a no-show on a couple appointments - I had to contact the owner of the agency to find out what had happened to him. Very disappointed. We are from Portland Oregon and we're looking for a realtor in Austin. We were referred to a realtor who did not meet our needs went back to the referring agent in Oregon and shared that with them and thankfully they found the Marye company! My husband and I would highly recommend Drew Marye and the Marye Company to anyone hoping to list a property in Austin. Simply put, the guy knows his stuff. We had been planning to move away from Austin and closer to family for a few years. We had been house hunting for what seemed to be an eternity . We were just about convinced it wasn't going to happen when, we found the home of our dreams. We put in an offer, it was accepted and suddenly we were moving! We knew with our two large dogs and tons of moving boxes that showing our home would be a logistical nightmare. We were feeling more than a little panic when we contacted Drew Marye. Drew set an appointment within the week. He came to our home with an entire marketing plan in hand. He came armed with comparable sales listings and a full blown advertising/ marketing plan specifically designed for us. What he came with that no one else seemed to have was knowledge that extended beyond just comparable home sales. He came with a real sense of our neighborhood and the value of our property. He went through the home and yard with us and made suggestions of things we could do to make the home more "neutral" and salable. Finding and buying a home in Austin is really tough at the moment, but we were able to find a house in our price range and in our 6 miles-to-downtown range. There was no question that Jill worked every day on our behalf. She met contractors, organized quotes, wrote contracts, negotiated for us, and made sure that everything went smoothly at closing. About a month after we moved in, we had an issue with our home warranty. Jill went above and beyond to correct the issue with the Title company and made sure that we were reimbursed for the repair expenses.
