It was disappointing that we could not bring the vision to fruition, but I write this review to inform readers that Holly and Katie did NOT leave me in the dust when the pandemic hit. Our contract dissolved since we had to cancel our wedding, and I thought that was the end of our relationship. Without hesitation, though, they reached out to all of my vendors to gather information about cancellations, rescheduling, etc. It was such a headache even thinking about the work it took to cancel this event. Now that I am able to look back at all the responses received by vendors, I am relieved that I hired some of the vendors that Perfectly Posh recommended because they were the most accommodating during this pandemic. I know this is largely influenced by the strong working relationship they maintain with vendors. While my husband and father-in-law were waiting with him to walk down the aisle, right before the ceremony, David told them he hates weddings. During the ceremony he forget the ring exchange and I had to remind him mid-ceremony, right before our kiss, to do the rings. The worst part happened after all of this. Despite his attitude and mistake during the ceremony, he had the audacity to "rate our kiss" and told us and the audience he "expected better". This made my husband and I extremely uncomfortable and he ruined the end of what was supposed to be a beautiful, short and simple ceremony. At the end of the day we are happy and married, but looking back my ceremony kiss will always be my least favorite memory of the day, which is pretty depressing. I booked about eight months in advance for a day coordinator and we started communication about 2 months before the wedding. During that meeting I had what I would call the "outline" of a plan, and had booked the major items like (1) venue, (2) dj, (3) caterer, (4) photographer. But the actual plan that day was still pretty loose. On our first meeting, Sam drove all the way from Kent up to Woodinville to have a 4 hour in-person meeting with me and my husband to hash out the details. In the weeks leading up to the actual event I would go on to change that timeline like 4-5 times and Sam didn't bat an eye. She came with me to do a walkthrough of the event space and meet with the venue manager. She and I would communicate over text, email, and sometimes FaceTime. Sometimes I would even send her videos of things I was making last minute lol. This was all included and I had only booked a day-of coordinator. ON THE DAY ITSELF: She came to the hotel we were getting ready at to grab the decor items (which let me tell you I pretty much had no idea how they were supposed to look--I bought some random stuff off Amazon, Etsy, and antique shops, threw it in a box and handed it to her). I will note if you have anything heavy to have your husband and his friends move it, we had a few heavy items that we made like an altar piece. Then while we were getting ready and taking photos, she was setting everything up. Like everything, she just put it together and made it work. When we arrived to the venue, she arranged everything and everyone in my bridal party so I wasn't even thinking about anything. She brought me and my husband water. During the ceremony she was managing the catering timeline and the dj, all while getting "behind the scenes" shots of everything while not getting in the way of the photographer. After the ceremony, she had drinks ready for me and my husband. She brought snacks over to me and my husband while we were getting photos during the cocktail hour. She managed the timeline so I wasn't even thinking about "what time is it, do we need to start heading in?" She had drinks ready for us when we came in!! Throughout dinner and karaoke, she was just constantly on it, and we had a hard out by 11 (or else the venue would continue to charge us), and she had everything wrapped up and in our cars by 10:45.
