Easy to get to and from, and parking wasn't bad. This is a relatively new event space on Huff Road, situated between Souper Jenny Westside and Apex West Midtown (Agavero, Twisted Soul). The 42West event space is hidden. It occupies more than half of the building in the back. We mostly spent time in the indoor event space (5,800 square feet) and string-lit upper patio just outside (900 square feet). The event was an Indian sangeet and mehndi. It was a lot like an American wedding reception. There was a catered buffet dinner, performances, and dancing. Hundreds of guests attended. I thought 42West was well-suited for the amount of people, the numerous food stations, and bar (or two, I can't remember). Caterers and other vendors parked their trucks and vehicles in the small parking lot in front of the building. Guests parked across the street at 1075 Huff Road. Josh and Chavien were incredibly professional, kind, and transparent about everything from the very beginning. They walked me through all the features of the venue, answered every question I had, and made sure I felt fully supported. What really stood out to me was the level of care! Josh even came back the morning after my event to help a guest who thought they had left something behind. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. I have never seen a large table covered in saran wrap serving as a charcuterie board with no serving utensils, mini plates & the much need for Hand Sanitizer. I digress to the outside, aside from the covered patio with sofas (they need to be replaced), picnic tables & a few chairs, the seating layoff were off. Now, depending on the packages - perhaps different setups with furniture &, etc may be offered. The parking logistics were very unpleasing. The parking space is shared, so 1st come 1st park. The neighboring businesses have parking spaces yet with the security outside they will let you know if you can park there or direct you somewhere else & with a small trek. The concept is great, yet the logistics could use some tweaking.

The Estate was able to do this effortlessly without sacrificing the beauty of the wedding ceremony or the fun of the reception. I loved planning my wedding at the Estate because it is a one stop shop: they did our flowers, decorations, linens, food, bar service, valet parking and our cake! As a busy bride, it is so helpful to not have to coordinate with numerous vendors. The artistry of the floral arrangements blew me away. The venue was a hit with our guests as it is an interesting building that allows the wedding to flow seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The venue is tucked off Piedmont Road behind a nondescript brick wall and gate. It is the kind of place you've driven past a million times and never thought twice about. Once you go through the gates of the driveway, you won't forget it. The landscaping and trees that surround the Estate make it hard to believe you are in the middle of Buckhead (we got some great outdoor photos). The main house is a historic antebellum home with a huge sun porch, chic interior design and beautiful art on the walls. There are at least 4 spaces for bars in the main house with a ceremony space and ballroom built off the side of the original structure. Never once did I have to ask for a drink or bite to eat. I wish I could have him with me every day! The food was "the best wedding food we've ever had" and you have an enormous amount of options to choose from. The property was pristine and is obviously kept up nicely. If you are looking for a wedding venue where you and your guests leave saying "Wow! That was perfect. Everything ran so smoothly", then The Estate is the place for you. After scouring over every Atlanta venue list known to man, my now husband and I narrowed it down to two places. We visited here second & fell in love immediately. The grounds are gorgeous, tucked away in the heart of Atlanta. It's so quiet for where it's at and was so convenient for all our family and friends. We got married in the fall and the leaves were so pretty. This is a perfect outdoor venue because you have everything right there. It's plenty spacious and no one has to drive anywhere after the ceremony. We had a cocktail hour on the side lawn which was perfect while the staff moved all the chairs from the ceremony site to the tables in the courtyard. And if you ever dreamed of getting married in an Italian garden-- this feels just like it. My absolute favorite thing about this venue is that we were able to bring in our own alcohol and pick a lot of our vendors. It's saved us A TON of money. And the very best thing about this place, part of your money goes towards the non profit school, which is an amazing cause. I really couldn't have asked for anywhere better to get married.
