The venue serves some pretty tasty yet small food like poke tacos, sliders, and fries. The cocktails look very artesian. I can understand why people love this place. When we first arrived, the hostess told us the restaurant was reservation-only, but that the bar and lounge were available for walk-ins. We stepped away for just a few minutes to discuss our plans and decided we'd go to the bar and lounge. When we returned, the hostess completely changed her story and said that while it's usually walk-in, it wasn't that day. It was a confusing and frustrating experience. I've never been told I couldn't walk into a bar to order a drink, especially after being told moments earlier that it was an option. If the policy had changed because the bar reached capacity, that would have made sense--but that wasn't what we were told. The inconsistent communication left a bad impression, and unfortunately we took our business elsewhere.

It was in what I would expect to be the main room, which was very open, clean, and welcoming. The entire center seems new, and I was definitely impressed by the grounds, complete with basketball courts and a soccer field. While Clarkston may have never been on my radar before this event, they're certainly lucky to have a community center like this one. #yelp365 24/365
