Limp pickle.

Underwhelming. I tipped normally because it's not the server's fault that the food was flavorless. I got an All American Cheeseburger ($14.00), added bacon ($2.00), and got crinkle cut fries ($3.00). So with a tip, I paid $28.51. I was just passing through town, but if I was in the area again I would NOT give it another try. The food As I said, underwhelming. The burger was cooked to my preference but flavorless. The bread was dry and crumbling apart, I ended up just eating the meat and some of the toppings. There were giant pieces of raw onion. For a "smokehouse" the burger patty looked like a thick, frozen patty. The fries were also flavorless - they didn't even have salt on them, and there was a huge pile of them, which I guess is fine since I paid extra for something very basic. I don't know what would've been included if I hadn't ordered fries. The pickle with my burger was small, limp/soggy. Felt like an IHOP meal. Perhaps I should've gotten a pizza or BBQ item, but a burger felt like it would be a good basic. The ambience The restaurant was busy, but it doesn't look like there are a ton of options in the area so maybe that's why. I sat at the bar since I was by myself and didn't want to feel rushed to free up a table. It seemed clean overall. Rustic vibe. Looks like it would be a lot more upscale than it is. The service The bartender was very busy and could've used some help. There were about 10 people at the bar eating and she was literally running to greet, serve drinks, take orders in the order that folks at down at the bar, and then deliver food. She was very nice and efficient but you could tell she needed a little help.

We were traveling to Madawaska for a sip for Special Olympics, service was spot on , food was awesome and the place is very clean and welcoming. Our waitress was very friendly and always checked on us. Hannah was awesome

Leftovers for lunch of the Brisket Burger, Mac n Cheese side and the huge slice of Zinger Cake.

Food was all right not the greatest. The only thing good I liked was the raspberry chipotle sauce service sucks and the ambience sucked.

Up in the county visiting my daughter, everyone wanted to stay home in PJs and I wanted to go on an…read moreadventure. I've been going to Houlton for a good 25 years and have never been to Presque Isle so my hubby and I set out on a car trip for 45 minutes. Drive was nice and it was sweetened by meeting up with friends from Rangeley who were up snowmobiling. They recommended meeting up at Ferris BBQ so we put in the GPS and off we went. Ample parking, clear signage, and entrance clearly marked. Found our friends at the bar waiting for us. Bartender came right up after we said our hellos, gave us menus and told us what the specials were. We had had a late breakfast so not really all that hungry. We looked at the menu and decided to share the Brisket nacho fries. I enjoyed perhaps a little too much their specialty margarita "chocolate covered strawberry" oh my! I had two they were sooo good. The chocolate rim was semi sweet chocolate with sea salt yum! The Brisket nacho fries were amazing. The brisket was super tender, almost melted in my mouth so good. Fries were crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. We dove in so fast and was having such a good conversation a picture of the nachos is missing. Decor was BBQ type theme with metal signage with cute sayings. Ample tables and a good sized bar. Friendly staff and good food, I'll have to come back again in the summer when we visit again.

We even enjoyed a strawberry filled whoopie pie to go. If you like BBQ this is the perfect spot for you. They have outside dining options too!

I was getting bored with my area food options in the early days of the Pandemic and I started…read moreresearching cool food around the country that could be delivered to my home in CT. One of the foods that I learned about was Maine's Fox Family Potato Chips. I still remember what one reviewer said. They're potato chips that actually taste like potatoes. I ordered them and that reviewer was right. They do taste like potatoes, and they're very good. Made with Maine russets, they're not too greasy. They crunch in a slightly different way that I enjoy. My favorite flavors are the BBQ ones and Salt and Vinegar. So I'm not just getting around to reviewing chips I ate last year. I recently traveled through Maine and ate Fox Family Chips a few times. Those shiny silver bags were staring back at me at the Maine Local Market in Hallowell, Maine. I bought a bag of Wicked Hot BBQ and Salt and Vinegar. They tasted great everywhere, but especially in the Adirondack chairs in Granite City Park. A Maine place for eating Maine chips. Some Connecticut places have discovered the merits of Fox Family Chips. I've seen them at Seed Bagel in Glastonbury and Rosa's Deli in East Hartford. Go check em out! Five Stars

All three of the flavors are exceptional, but the Salt 'n Pepper are the favorites of our family. My only criticism, which is really a wish more that a critique, is their failure to have a Salt 'n Vinegar variety. Please!!
