Needed to grab a quick bite between jobs and found the Maple Pig. Grabbed the Pulled pork and fries but left disappointed Pulled pork need to be juicy and pulled not shredded and dry. Flavor was all right. Fries were warm at best. Nothing to remember fer sure. Tea from a fountain? What is up with that? Dinner 2 - Maple Ol Fashioned with Fries Mac appetizer. Maple Old was perfect! Bar Tender did it justice and was awesome. Now the Mac & Cheese Bites.... Really their recipe or something from the box and just fried? Too much alike but they were good none the less. Ordered the Pizza to go which was a good idea since the Old Fashioned was hitting a little harder than expected. Pizza was not near as good as I expected. Sorry to say it but this is weak. We decided to try this place before going to Walmart. Restaurant has dark wood and many tables around for you to sit at can be cold. If you're sitting by the window has nothing can stop Maine cold from coming in. The pub field to me. The Waitstaff gave good suggestions and check in on us throughout the meal. Water tasted good they had good soda selections. Don't drink alcohol I can't speak to bar, but seems like they had a large selection of beers. Sat at the bar, waited a bit for the waitress/bartender to acknowledge me. Kelsey the bartender finally provided a menu, took my order and delivered about 15 to 20 minutes later. I really should have departed right away; the countertop was not cleaned with flies in the area, either the liquor bottles aren't being cleaned or there is something else drawing insects to the area. Ordered the steak tips which were okay, the salad which should not have been served was very much oxidized and old. Kelsey responsed when asked about the salad " i do not prepare the food I only deliver it". Because Kelsey was engaged in a conversation with locals, she ignored the fact that I had finished eating. I waited greater than 15 minutes, and I finally had to stand up and ask for my check, 6 other people were at the bar but her focus was on the conversation. A conversation is fine, but being aware of your surroundings and customers is much more important. Attention to detail by staff disappointing, serving fresh produce isn't top of mind, additionally it would have been nice to have been offered more water when glass was empty. I would not give the restaurant a second chance. Fresh produce, hygiene, and customer focused is an issue! First impressions are real!! read more

Stopped here for food while in town visiting family and I was very impressed. Lots of good bbq options and large portions. I got the pulled pork Mac and cheese and it was really good. The corn bread was my absolute favorite. I tried a chicken finger and those were also good. The service was quick and the food also came out fast. The bbq sauce was a little sweet for me but that's just my preference. Will be back for sure! read more

Underwhelming. I tipped normally because it's not the server's fault that the food was flavorless. I got an All American Cheeseburger ($14.00), added bacon ($2.00), and got crinkle cut fries ($3.00). So with a tip, I paid $28.51. I was just passing through town, but if I was in the area again I would NOT give it another try. The food As I said, underwhelming. The burger was cooked to my preference but flavorless. The bread was dry and crumbling apart, I ended up just eating the meat and some of the toppings. There were giant pieces of raw onion. For a "smokehouse" the burger patty looked like a thick, frozen patty. The fries were also flavorless - they didn't even have salt on them, and there was a huge pile of them, which I guess is fine since I paid extra for something very basic. I don't know what would've been included if I hadn't ordered fries. The pickle with my burger was small, limp/soggy. Felt like an IHOP meal. Perhaps I should've gotten a pizza or BBQ item, but a burger felt like it would be a good basic. The ambience The restaurant was busy, but it doesn't look like there are a ton of options in the area so maybe that's why. I sat at the bar since I was by myself and didn't want to feel rushed to free up a table. It seemed clean overall. Rustic vibe. Looks like it would be a lot more upscale than it is. The service The bartender was very busy and could've used some help. There were about 10 people at the bar eating and she was literally running to greet, serve drinks, take orders in the order that folks at down at the bar, and then deliver food. Food was all right not the greatest. The only thing good I liked was the raspberry chipotle sauce service sucks and the ambience sucked.

My husband and I ate here last night 8/5/25 and the food was so amazing we are returning tomorrow while still in town from FL. We had the brisket burger (amazing flavor, tender and wish I could buy a jar of the maple bacon jam that's on it), the mac n cheese (best I have ever eaten, creamy and melt in your mouth goodness topped with more cheese), the sirloin steak tips (huge chunks of a cut up sirloin, the most tender sirloin I have ever had and amazing flavor). The corn ribs for an app were amazing as well, I will try to recreate these since we live in FL and probably will never be in this area again. We also took a slice of the Zinger cake for dessert (huge portion and also really good). I can't recommend this place enough, the food is amazing...and the service as well! We are going back tonight for the smokehouse wings and a coal fired pizza that looked amazing. All of their signature BBQ sauces were also great! read more

It's rare that I get upset with the service before I reach the table. Due to hiatal hernia surgery, I have a protein supplement that I have to drink. I brought my bottle in with me and the server told us that no outside drink was allowed. Now, I understand the reasoning behind this but normally an exception is made when I explain the circumstances. Nope. I even have a card from my surgeon I can show but I didn't push the issue.
