The first time I discovered this was when I gave some empty bowls of finished side dishes to the waiter and to my surprise he came back with bowls of newly replenished sides. Some of these dishes include wilted greens seasoned with oil and garlic, seaweed salad, mashed potatoes and then there's the always present Kimchi which is a spicy fermented Chinese cabbage. Then, there's the novelty of cooking your own meat which you can eat with rice or wrapped with various elements on the table in leafy greens, and eaten with ssamjang sauce. Even if you don't feel like BBQ-ing, you can still enjoy an array of Korean dishes like the Seafood Pancake which was delicious, the traditional and a favourite of my husband, Bibimbap, dumplings and great selections of tasty Korean noodles. I mean, even the restaurant is named Incredible Chicken... and it WAS REALLY REALLY INCREDIBLE. I really like it :) The chicken is not oily and cooked to perfection with perfect crisp and crunch. I really enjoyed the sweet chilli chicken and the snow cheese chicken. The generous portions of side dishes complement the fried chicken. Husband googled and found this place. It wasn't actually our first time here and came here at least five years ago during Eastwood's Granny Smith festival and clearly not that impressed that it took us that long to come back.. anyway, I digress... So, ticked our boxes of close to home and having Korean soup (that our Epping fave didn't)... Issue of parking options also has a part to play but we actually ended up parking on the other side and walking (up hill!) to this place (closer to Blaxland Rd) from the station but knowing it was down hill and not gonna be caught up in traffic later made our parking option a good one! Ok so back to food... got the chicken, got a pork bone broth soup and some LA ribs. We went with the regular fried on the bone Chicken. Well fried but lacked depth in flavour. Maybe we can try the soy next time? Pork was also similar. Well executed but not too exciting. Although, that wasn't my choice but hubby's. So didn't have a lot of that to give it a good go. Ribs we loved! We declared it was our go to ribs locally if we needed one! Huge restaurant that didn't seem to need a booking at 6, so that was also a good thing. Overall though we wouldn't come here unless all those things aligned again: parking, soup needed, chicken needed and now, craving ribs.
