I first found Homebody's during a Ladies Night on White as I wouldn't have stumbled onto it on my own as the entrance was in the back. But the unique items in the store were enough to bring me back. Besides the shop, in which you will find candles; stationery; clothing; baby items; items for the home; self care; and much more, they also offer workshops so you can learn some new skills. The staff is friendly and will offer as much help as you need. There is even a gift shop in the front with décor, kits to do projects at home or finished projects if you prefer they make it for you.

Back in July I was excited to try a sea glass Christmas tree class with my sister and mom. My mom…read morecame in from out of town to attend. While out at dinner approximately an hour and a half before the class was scheduled to start, I happened to check my email and saw the class was cancelled. Angela asked for dates we could attend a makeup class and I quickly gave her one that would potentially work. After looking at the dates I quickly emailed her back and told her that wouldn't work and asked for a refund. She told me per her written policy there were no refunds (even when she was the one cancelling the class) but she would give me a take home kit. I quickly replied with the colors for my kits per her request. After that time I've hardly been able to get a reply from her and haven't gotten a single reply in over a month. This has been going on for two months now. I've sent countless emails and reached out on social media and have gotten no response from her. I've grown incredibly frustrated as I'm owed almost $200 and she will not reply. I hate to leave a negative review for anyone but this is incredibly unprofessional to cancel a class last minute and not offer an exception to your cancellation policy or at least reply to a costumer when they are trying to see when they can pick up a take home kit.

I popped in here one afternoon bc a lunch place that I wanted to go to was closed. Although we didn't find lunch food here, we were curious enough about this place to go inside. We went inside the coffee shop and continued upstairs. We found a huge space with stations on both sides of the room. I enjoyed taking a few minutes rest sitting next to the windows that gave a view onto downtown Wake Forest. The view is spectacular and looking out, I could imagine why artists like to meet here for inspiration. This is a definite Wake Forest gem! I plan on spending a lot of time here.
