Ms. Juanita was an absolute joy to work with--her warm and welcoming attitude made our private birthday event a blast. She let us choose our own music, creating the perfect "go with the flow" vibe for the evening. Our group had so much fun that we're already planning our next visit! The bear painting activity was super creative and a hit with everyone. Being located downtown was another major plus--after our event, it was so convenient to head to the next spot and keep the night going. It was supposed to start at 6 pm, but the lady waited and waited for people who didn't even end up showing up. We had to wait almost 20 mins before we could get started, and I didn't think that was a good decision for those of us who showed up on time. They included champagne in the tiniest cup. Luckily, we don't drink, so it didn't matter so much. They also gave us a tiny box of V-Day candy. It was a sweet gesture. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves. They should put something in place that if people are late, they will need to reschedule, get a credit for future use, or forfeit their money. We shouldn't have to wait over 20 mins to get started. I recommend them. Just be sure to bring your own drinks and snacks/food.

The shopping center has plenty of free parking too so that is always a good thing! This studio has chairs rather than stools that have been the seating at the other Wine and Design studios I have gone. The back support was nice and I like having the chairs. I went for an open studio and didn't take an official class so didn't see the new technology in use here but the tv screen makes me think that will show what the artist is doing on the canvas. Another difference here is that they sell sodas and waters if you'd like them and didn't bring your own. There was an area to put any food you brought too. If you were having a party, the counter would work for putting the gifts too. If you are looking for somewhere to explore your creative side, check out the variety of painting and craft classes offered at Wine & Design.

I'm so glad I found this place because I was stressing about my kids dying of boredom waiting in the station. It's directly upstairs, and we had a lovely time. Our instructor was great, especially with non-artitsts such as us. She took her time, was very detailed in her instruction, came around to give everyone help if they needed it. She said usually she had help but that night was on her own, but was still able to complete the painting and attend to anyone who needed assistance. It was the perfect way to kill a couple of hours before our train. Unfortunately they don't sell wine there, but you're more than welcome to bring your own, which I did; of course.

Her craft classes are creative (even though I'm biased to the candle making class! ) and she never stops thinking about ways to elevate the business. Plus, her staff is fantastic. Last nights class with Elaine was great because she's such a good teacher and makes sure that above everything else, people leave happy and satisfied. BYOB parties are always a good time and there's plenty of space for large groups and refreshments. The studio really becomes your home for the night and the vibe is one of a kind! As I forgot to get a photo when I arrived, the class was full so I couldn't get the layout too well. I will try to get a better shot next time. I'd been to the old location before the pandemic and got excited during the pandemic when to go kits were offered as we couldn't paint in person but could order a kit with canvases and paints and brushes. Then pick them up from the sidewalk. Virtual classes are offered as well so you could paint with friends and relatives all over the country if you wanted. Some classes are being taught outside under a gazebo too. I booked my class a few months out as I am still healing from a shoulder injury and thought I'd be good by July. But I managed to get another injury in the meantime. So I did my best and Bethany made the afternoon fun and was very helpful with how to hold the paintbrush to get the paint stroke desired. If you are looking for a fun activity, this is the place for you!
