I went here for their first Friday event because my nephew was part of an exhibit there with his self portrait photography. It's a beautiful place with plenty of artist selling their one of a kind works. It's two stories and they have artist in residence on both floors. It was a nice vibe to spend a Friday night.

A very diverse, non-profit gallery run by the artists themselves, Artspace is a great place to visit on First Friday! Two floors of exhibits and studios, most of the pieces are paintings and mixed media for your walls. First floor is primarily exhibits while on the second floor you've got the artist studios themselves. The artists typically rotate in and out over time so there's always something new to see! I volunteer from time to time and the place can get hopping on First Fridays. We typically have some wine, beer and snacks, donation requested. And often there'll be some live music playing. So stop on by on the next First Friday and roam around a bit. I'm sure you'll enjoy the art, the space and of course, Artspace! I'll try and get some pictures next time I'm there...

Artspace is nestled in Downtown Raleigh and features local artists. They have 3 galleries that change every couple of months, surrounding a theme. In addition to their galleries, they have artist space that is rented out, where the artists curate their work, sell it and can speak to their pieces. It's really neat to see so many different styles and pieces throughout the gallery. Artspace also hosts a ton of classes and events, where you can learn a new skill or hear from the artists about their pieces. Artspace is also free, but once you visit, you'll definitely want to donate to support the local arts community. It's really a gem within Raleigh.

I'm a fan of artspace because the setup is like no other Gallery I've been to. I usually go on first Friday (which happens every first Friday of he month in downtown Raleigh) There are studios that different artists occupy. Each studio is a mini gallery so you get to see an array of styles and art work at the same location. Plus there are over 20 artist studios. They also have exhibitions in the two open areas they have. On first Fridays pretty much all the artists are there showing off their art and sometimes working on a current piece. You can ask the artists questions, etc. There is also complimentary snacks and wine (suggested donation) They usually also have live music, poetry, etc. on the bottom floor. If your free on a first Friday I suggest artspace and it's right downtown so you can walk to a restaurant or bar close by to continue your night. On first Friday it's 6-10pm I believe.

Love that this wonderful part of our community allows for all to wander in and see the studious of local artists / find art for purchase! I came with a friend, visiting from out of town, who equally felt impressed. I daydream too of one day becoming so entwined with my art that I too am able to rent space here... ahh, to know that such a dream can only be possible d/t the existence of ArtSpace is in itself a magical thing

Artspace is what I call a hidden gem, places like it are usually hard to find in a city and many of the people living there don't even know about, such was the case with my visit. A friend and I were just touring the town and we got on the R Line and decided to get off near City Market and check it out and artspace was one of the places we found. If I was a resident of the city I would definitely support the artists here by purchasing their works to furnish my home. My favorite artist here was Ann Harwell, a quilter. I was checking out the studios and I saw a painting that looked pretty cool so I walked up to see it and to my surprise it was a quilt. She uses lots of different fabrics and pieces that create a mosaic like quality, all painting a bigger picture. Then she hand quilts patterns and details into the quilt adding another dimension. I asked her how many hours one quilt took and she replied, "hundreds," and I believe it. Her quilts were priced at $6000 which seems steep but I've seen art like this cost way more and poorer quality work cost nearly as much. My favorite piece of hers was a tree in Yosemite, a downed Sequoia that I took a photo of in 2007. My buddy got his portrait painted in an hour for $100 upstairs by an artist named Lucille Winner. He's an artist who has lived in places like Austin and was amazed at the quality of art he discovered here and once he saw her work it was the first time he really wanted to have another artist do his portrait. All in all artspace is a great place to visit as well as some of the other artists lofts and shops in the same block. Definitely a place I will visit again.

Stumbled upon this cutie while getting lost in a new city. Price: free to view. They offer classes as well as studio space. If an artist is in their studio they will talk to you and even invite you in. If supported, this could really bring together a community like Raleigh.

Some really great artists and works on display. You can meet the artist and chat about their works. This was my first time here but enjoyed the place immensely. Stop by and check it out

I decided that for the investment, I would prefer an updated wedding band instead and was looking at a two-tone style. The sales process started smoothly, and sizing seemed straightforward at first. However, the communication around ordering and sizing became confusing. I was initially told the ring would take 5-7 days to come in, then 12 weeks, then suddenly it arrived. When the ring came in, it was still too large. After returning to have it adjusted, I was told the wrong size had been ordered (a 5.5 instead of a 5), and that it would need to be reordered again -- potentially another 12 weeks -- with no clear confirmation whether it could even be sized properly once it arrived. Ultimately, I requested a refund, which I did receive, though there was some hesitation due to timing even though the delays were outside of my control. The staff was polite throughout, and I genuinely liked the ring, but the inconsistent communication and sizing issues made the experience more frustrating than it should have been for such an important purchase.

My name is Nelson Scott. I am a small business owner. On May 17, 2021, I hired Vraiment Financial,…read moreLLC. After having a friendly phone consultation with the owner, Dalaine Waller aka, Laine Bradley, I paid her, her husband Vincent Dale Bradley Jr., and their assistant, who goes by the name Darlesha P., $4,500 for a 6 months contract of service (Please find contract attached). In the contract, I was promised the following items per month: - 5 grants per month (totaling 30 grants). - A copy of the grant research proposals. - Prepared and submitted grant applications, letters of intent, and/or proposals for grants that were researched on behalf of the business. - A copy of the letters of intent and proposals. - Vraiment Financial, LLC will consult with the point of contact once a month. - Monthly coaching calls. - Monthly reports sent.   I never received any of the above mentioned. After months of inactivity and broken promises on their part, In August, I requested a conversation with the owner. She refused. It was then agreed that the contract would be terminated, my money would be returned, and for the inconvenience Vraiment caused, 10 grants would be applied to on the behalf of my company. Attached, please find the email sent by Vraiment promising to apply for 10 grants on the behalf of my company and process my full refund by 08-23-21. Since August 18th, 2021, I've been trying to get my money back from The Bradleys and Vraiment. They've ignored every email and DM, their phone number is disconnected, and they've blocked me on all of their social media accounts. As of 10-04-21, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND!. Vraiment told me they sent the refund, but would not tell me when or by what method. I was forced to file a claim with my bank due to the refund never being credited to my account. Vraiment was referred to me by someone I trusted. I checked references, I googled, and before I made the decision to work with them, I prayed. I thought I did everything right. Now, I feel stupid. They're a black woman owned business that I desperately wanted to support and instead of telling you how happy I am with their service, I'm left having to file complaints against them. I have filed complaints with the SBA Inspector General, North Carolina Consumer Complaints, The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, The Better Business Bureau, The Georgia Department of Law's Consumer Protection Division, and The Federal Trade Commission's Fraud Division. I've also filed a complaint against Vincent Dale Bradley Jr. with The Office of the Naval Inspector General and have consulted with the Cyber Crimes Division of the District Attorney's Office. As far as I'm concerned, Dalaine Waller aka Laine Bradley, Vincent Dale Bradley Jr., their assistant Darlesha P., and business partners, Tranika Warner, and Cyntoni Miller, are all frauds. I trusted them and they have taken advantage of my kindness and trust. Also, please take note of the 12 companies they've opened within the last two years: Black ON the Business, LLC PoBox 45433 Phoenix, AZ 85064 Bradley Tax & Associates Inc. 421 Fayetteville Street, Ste. 1100 Raleigh, NC 27601 Bradley Venues Inc. 421 Fayetteville Street, Ste. 1100 Raleigh, NC 27601 Bradley Warner Academy Inc., 3105 Corners Mill Drive Peachtree Corners, GA 30095 Elnora Adrienne Transportation Inc 421 Fayetteville Street, Ste. 1100 Raleigh, NC 27601 Emerald Peak Cleaning Inc. 421 Fayetteville Street, Ste. 1100 Raleigh, NC 27601 Emerald Peak Investment Group 421 Fayetteville Street, Ste. 1100 Raleigh, NC 27601 Margaritas And Manis Beauty Bar LLC 4302 Springs Creek Lane Apt 4302 Sandy Springs, GA 30350 Munchkin Munchies Vending Machines Inc. 421 Fayetteville Street, Ste. 1100 Raleigh, NC 27601 The Laine B. I paid $4500 upfront and believed that my company would be treated with dignity and respect. Instead, I got cheated and ignored. This entire situation could have easily been settled with a simple conversation between myself and Dalaine, but because I don't have a large social media following and they already had my money, neither my company nor my grievances with Vraiment were ever taken seriously. My advice, don't work with Vraiment Financial. And never pay full price upfront.
