There were lots of pottery pieces to choose from. I do wish they had more cat-themed options, but I ended up painting a puppy that turned out amazing. They offer a wide variety of paint colors as well as pre-made color palettes, and you can even swap colors around to create your own combination. I also noticed posters for different events they host throughout the year, and they all sounded like a lot of fun. This is a great activity for any age, from young children to adults. The prices are reasonable because you're paying for the entire experience, not just the pottery. The staff mentioned that they get very busy during the summer but that things slow down once the school year starts. I would definitely come back again!

The selection of pottery to paint was more extensive than I thought, and came in a variety of affordable prices -- cost includes paint, materials, firing, etc. We can't wait to pick up our finished products! Oh, this was such a fun night!…read more My friend had been here before. She has a long history of knowing fun places-and I happily followed her here. It was everything I hoped for and more. It's so colorful and cheerful inside. You can feel the creativity flowing and gelling. Inspo is everywhere. The staff were so welcoming and supportive-especially to someone who still paints like an elementary school kid (that would be me). We paid $10 for the special ghouls night out session... but I've heard you can do walk ins, too. There are shelves full of all sorts of figures and plates and other pottery to choose from. The prices are on the bottom-and that covers the paint and the firing. My friend and I had a table to ourselves-and could spread out our snacks and drinks (they had cupcakes, cookies and small cans of soda available but you can also byob and foods. We brought charcuterie items, champagne and pumpkin doughnuts). It was such a relaxing and happy experience-painting, snacking and chatting. The staff checks on you. You can also go ask for more paint at any time. My spider won't win any awards-but he sure was fun to decorate! I can't wait to see how he'll look after firing. I'm told the colors will darken. It should be ready for pickup in about a week. I'm told they have art classes, day camps and summer camps and that you can hold parties here. It's fun for all ages and I may bring my mom, sister and niece here for some three generation bonding. It's a comfortable space with lots of easy parking available. I'm already looking forward to going back. See you there?!

Everything is included in that price. Then you pick out your paint colors and start painting. I felt like the paint colors looked very different in the palette than I expected from the display. Our group of 6 was met by spunky Paulette who gave us a complete and thorough explanation on how The Bent Brush operates. After washing our hands FIRST (don't want to smudge the ceramics ) we spent time looking at all the fun ceramics to choose for painting. There are various sizes, shapes and specimens to choose from with a variety of paints, brushes and tools to use as your creative mind chooses. I will be specific and say, take your time! There is no rushing here and you are encouraged to be as creative as possible. The staff is so friendly and helpful; so don't be afraid to ask for assistance! Plus, they have so many art tools that can enhance your experience you'll never know what can aide you in your next "Van-Gough" piece Our group had a great time, singing to the awesome 80's music playing in the background and painting in this super cheerful atmosphere. Yes, we will be back!

This last time my humans made a spider, an alien and a narwal, and a dog treat jar!! I helped with that one!!! The staff is very helpful and even gave some tips on how to write my name on the jar. They checked on us often and got us everything we needed. One of my humans is not good in art but loves this experience and actually has made some cool things. There was also some kind of event there and everyone in the birthday party had so much fun. A great way to spend a few to several hours making cool things and gifts!! Highly recommend this one!! 5 stars and can't wait until the next one!!! Bodhi Approved! #BodhiFin

I was directed to the framing area in the back, where I met Connie. I showed her the piece and explained I was hoping to find a premade frame with matting. She was immediately helpful and encouraging. As I looked around, nothing quite matched the size I needed, so I mentioned we would probably need to go custom. Connie agreed right away and began pulling framing samples from the wall based on the look I described. At one point she even invited me behind the counter so I could choose samples myself--such a thoughtful gesture. There were many beautiful options, with prices ranging from about $160 to $400 depending on size, and the selection was impressive. I settled on the perfect frame and color. A few other customers arrived while we were working, and I tried to move a little faster so she could help them, but Connie never once made me feel rushed. She stayed patient and focused, letting me finish my selection at a comfortable pace. She was efficient and clearly knew her craft, so the process still didn't take long. I could tell by the smile on her face that she liked the choice as much as I did. A little over a week later she called to let me know the framing was ready. When I arrived to pick it up, Connie was there with a big smile, and I could tell before she even showed me the finished piece that she was proud of how it turned out. The moment I saw it I was completely blown away. I love the final result, and I'm so grateful for her knowledge, care, and expertise with this special piece of art. I would highly recommend Michael's--and especially Connie--to anyone looking for framing, whether it's a simple job or something that needs a little extra love and attention.
