Joanne at arts a Blaze is amazing! She has a great team and such a loving business. We brought our out of town cousins and everyone had a blast!

Really liked the experience as a cute friend outing or even date night. No need to reserve. We were welcomed right away, walked through the many options to pick from already made pottery that you choose and paint 6 color pallets are included in the price. Price range from 10ish to around 40ish or more depending on what you choose. Only small downside is you have to come back in a week to pick up.

Couple of Gnomes I painted.

This place has turned into one of my favorite places to go hang out with some family and just sit back and paint we take snacks and drinks. The staff is great and the owner is a rock star. I can't wait to go back and paint something else.

My daughter attended Kiddie Academy Lakewood Ranch for at least 2 years and just graduated from…read moretheir VPK program. (The graduation ceremony and celebration for the kids was so nice!) The school has made a lot of improvements over time since we first started and seems to be headed in the right direction. While the turnover of teachers was initially a concern for me, it seems like Kiddie Academy LWR has recently done a better job of retaining some good teachers and administrators. The school has also improved their curriculum and the kids seem to be learning more. My daughter's reading readiness scores jumped over 20 points higher between the start and end of VPK at this school! While I think they can still focus more on reading and math readiness, they seem to be improving the curriculum every day. My daughter also has made amazing friends with the other kids and strong connections with her teachers. Overall I recommend giving Kiddie Academy a chance, as the school is just getting better every day and seems committed to constant growth and improvement. My daughter loved it!

The best way to put it, the director is Trunchbull from the movie maltida. For the amount of money that you pay here, the customer service should be excellent. The turn around of teachers is extremely high. The director is to blame. She treats them horrible. She are all scared to clock in and out a min late or they get reprimidad. This is a center where young children go and the director doesn't have a single inch of warmth to her. Avoid yourself the headach, the awkwardness or not being greeted, and the constant inconsistencies of teacher due to her poor leadership.

Very enjoyable time at "opening night" at the circus. In town for one month. Who would have thought…read morefour seniors would enjoy it so much. It wasn't my idea and I was a bit skeptical but it actually brought out the kid memories in me and was pleasantly surprised that the two hours (including intermission) went by so quickly. In fact we all left feeling a bit warm hearted and happy that we saw a very nice show. I think there were about 8 acts in all and some scary and daring and others light hearted and funny. It is not a large circus and every seat seamed just fine for a good view. We had 3rd row ring side seats. Of course I got the tall guy sitting in row two right smack in front of me. Blocked my vision a few times. There were a few empty seats but still a nice size audience. What impressed me most is you could just see the performers truly had passion for their craft and the circus. It shined through and we were more than happy to support these hard working performers. We were curious and scratched our heads about one thing. On three different daring acts, the performers missed their task and attempted a second try. We were wondering if this was on purpose to add to the thrill or was it a real miss?? Hmm. Still, it did add to the suspense and kept us on the edge of our seat. The circus has changed a lot over the many years...sure miss the lions and elephants (but of course it is way better for the animals)...it was nice to be a kid for the night and seeing it through adult eyes.

What a great circus! It is intimate and small. The performers were excellent. After the show…read morethere was an opportunity to meet the performers - speak with them and get photos with them. I highly recommend this circus!

I enrolled my son in the infant classroom when he was around 9 months old. The growth and learning my child saw within the first month was unbelievable! He was doing baby sign language to tell us he wanted "more" milk, or food before he could even crawl. It was amazing. The dedication each of the teachers has for each child is unlike any other I have ever seen. We stayed with them until he was 1 when we ran into some financial issues. This school is pretty pricey, but it's worth every cent. They worked with me to try and keep us there, and I wish we could have stayed. Unfortunately, I had to take him out for almost a year. It was very sad. Then life went back up again and we were able to take him back to school part time. They remembered his name, my name, my husbands name, and even the cars we drove. Diane and Josh are so super nice, and just overall good people. Ms. Jasmine is too (My son LOVES her). Going back was a relief. I never worried about him being okay, and they always kept the lines of communication open to us. Ms. Liza and Ms. Quinn were amazing and got my son back up to speed in no time. My son is two now and potty training in Ms. Debbie and Ms. Jessica's classroom. They have been nothing but supportive and have always been there to answer any questions I may have in terms of what's normal behavior, how he is advancing, and just to giggle about the silly things he does. He even speaks spanish now too! Every day I receive a report that breaks down the different things they have done that day and what part of development it's for. They also break down how much lunch he ate, how long he napped, and his potty habits. There is even a little section where they write a sweet little moment my child had during the day: "Today (child) had so much fun kicking the soccer ball to his friends! He kept on yelling go team go!" Honestly, it's the best school in the area. I wouldn't dream of taking my child anywhere else. He's excited to go to school. He's excited to learn. He doesn't cry when we get there, he was immediately comfortable when taking him back after the break. I am so thankful for The Goddard School and what they have done for me and my family. All of the teachers there are amazing and so good with each age group. We are lucky to have a school like this!

I don't know where to start , my daughter had been on a team at a dance company where was feeling…read moreunhappy at that studio for a while,.....she wanted to dance where she would not be just a number in a very overcrowded environment, she wasn't getting trained to her full potential even with lots of classes, and the owner was never seen or heard. Even though daughter liked few teachers, she felt bored most of the time and they teach the dance, not so much skill of that dance, she didn't want to just memorize it ..she wanted to learn proper skills and to be good dancer, I just saw my child not learning any great skills she wanted so she could grow ...And..this summer we decided not to go back. But where to go? Not that many choices of good dance companies around here. So as I started researching to see what few of these dance places around our area had to offer, I was getting more discouraged...too many kids, too few, place to tiny, I felt like goldilocks...LOL, We tried one studio for less than 2 weeks, they changed schedules twice in short time, no place to sit...tiny, they hired high school teens as teachers, oh and worst ..when I saw one of the costumes considered for competition, and other issues that I noticed from start...I knew we had to run...to keep on looking. Then I heard about the Art and Soul. I found out some older amazing dancers we know left old studio and came here also, that got my attention.. so I had to see for my self.. why I chose it... A long phone conversation with a very pleasant ,unbelievably lively, friendly, sounding extremely expert in the dance business and a dancer herself ,and patient (with me,I ask a million questions)...LOL.. woman, whom I found out was the owner, I asked if we can come by to see it and,she was happy to meet. when I got there in an hour I was surprised see her pull up too. I thought she was at the studio at the time, she could have just said ...hey I m not here now but I can meet you tomorrow...oh no not this lady... Alana Turner on day off drove out just to meet my dance loving child..i was in shock, she is so energetic, she has bigger than life personality and is very warm but very firm and professional. The way she runs her studio was evident immediately very hands on, not like I ever saw before, after I was there second time and third when people with children were coming in and classes in session, she watches all is going on in her studio,my mouth dropped when I saw her offering animal crackers to little boys, brothers of a girl who was trying out, to keep them happy while she spoke to family but not in rushed ...fake way we are used to ...she really wanted to please the kids. i saw she really loves teaching dance and is amazing at dancing too..as you watch her in there with them that's all you can say is wow, it was something to see, and the energy she has, and she also hires grown ups teachers not teens. ...the plaza is safe to walk around while waiting, nail salon two doors down ...my favorite thing to do twice a month while she is at dance ....it is so clean and all new ...beautiful modern tiled entry and spacious lobby/waiting area ,with couch and lots of chairs .... tv for little ones with cable...and tv screens on each wall for both rooms to watch your kids dance practice without having to press your face against the door to get a peak of your precious child practicing dancing ...how awful that I had to do that all these years, I remembered leaving marks with my face on the little glass window of the door at the other place she danced , also the place before that when she was little...how thoughtful I thought... and best part , for especially a bit older girls who dance a whole lotta hours which.... mine is getting there already....she had designed it so there's lots of study areas in the back for dancers to study with so many outlets and seating, a microwave on counter top just for dancers to heat up snacks, and my daughter also loved the two dressing rooms with actual doors not a curtain.....lol , no more changing in a bathroom ...or dying to potty and having to hold it in while late to go back to class , because someone is changing in there, my daughter has hated that the most , and now her dream I think came true she is a in real professional dance studio, with real beautiful professionally installed wood floating dancing floors that are installed with the dancers feet in mind to keep them from getting injured., not just any cheap flooring like I have seen many times before... my daughter said..mom, I didn't know tap could be so great and fun...she is so energized by this studio and teachers, and I never saw her working this hard even with double the hours at other place. she is learning to dance now...she is happy now and I m too. I finally found this amazing "Gem" of a dance studio hiding out at I 75 and University parkway.... dream come true for my girl.. right about 3 minutes from UTC mall.

We had a disastrous experience with Art and Soul Dance over the last year…read more Coming from a great studio to Art and Soul, we had the following observations. The owners are not open to feedback. If you provide feedback, your child is likely to be cut from dances or have their role limited. The owners of this studio focus more on emotionally traumatizing their dancers than teaching them skills. It was not uncommon for dances to change at the last second before competitions leading dancers to be unsure and nervous going onstage. Calling out dancers in front of their peers to do better was also not uncommon. The owners will tell you whatever you want to hear to sign up including what classes they offer. This will change once the season starts. Teacher turnover is high here. The one teacher we felt was strong, the ballet teacher, has moved on. We have had to ask the studio multiple times for pins earned and judge feedback from competitions. They refused to provide them. We question the accounting at this studio. All payments are made out personally to the owner. This seems odd for a business and we were never quite sure of the accounting. If you are looking for a studio that builds up your child's confidence and love of dance, this is not it. If you are looking for a studio where the owners are approachable and open to feedback, this is not it. If you are looking for a studio that is chaotic, mismanaged and where your child comes home questioning if they want to dance anymore, this is probably the studio for you. I would caution anyone looking to put their child in dance at Art and Soul to do lots of research and look past the positive reviews that will be fabricated to bury this one.
