I had my party at Painting with a Twist. I had a blast and so much fun. My instructor was Tiffany she was patient, sweet, and helpful. I recommend her 100%. My party turn out to be successful and all my friends and family still talking about it and wants to do another one. I did open studio for my party (means that each person could choose whatever painting they want) which is a lot, and Tiffany was on it, by helping everyone of us. The paintings turn out wonderful. My party was 7 to 9 and Tiffany let us stay a little later and that was a big help for all of us. Last but least my mouth on my painting was mess up. I painted over it and left it, but Tiffany stop me and said " You the bday girl, I cant let you leave here with out a mouth on your painting!" I was so happy and I went home with a perfect picture. I have only been to this place twice but it is my new addiction I was sitting around the house bored all the time wanting something different to do and this was the perfect place for that. I have met so many nice people especially the owner and the instructors they are so fun and so friendly that they make you want to come back and I promise you even if you are not artistic you will have so much fun and it will look like you took art classes. These paintings that I have done are going to be gifts for Christmas but after I'm done with the Christmas gifts I'm going to start painting things for my own house I'm getting rid of all the artwork in my house and I've purchased throughout the years and I'm going to start putting things that I've done on my walls and I cannot wait I'm so excited I look forward to going every single time I sign up. I've done this 2 times this year at the same location and both times have been fabulous. First time was with 3 other girl friends and the whole place was packed. Very fun with being able to interact with other people and the instructor was great. The second time was great too we didn't have enough people for the private room so we were able to have the birthday in the normal room and surprisingly it wasn't booked full maybe because of the holidays. We had 6 people total, they let my friends set up balloons, presents, cupcakes and drinks (nice surprise plus PWT provided a happy birthday sign with your name on it cute touch!) This time around we had Brandon for the instructor and he was so entertaining, had us playing games (if u win u get a special prize!), and was very helpful with the painting. This is my second adventure! Before I begin I always look at the final project and feel overwhelmed, yet the instructor takes it not only step by step but layer by layer! The finished project always amazes me that "I DID THAT"! Wait an additional 24 hours and it seems more astonishing! Think you have no creative juices, they know you do!!! Stick to form or be unique. Don't forget your beverages, although wine is the obvious (water, soda, even beer)! Small party platters and/or yummy sweets make easy paintbrush food. Bring your friends, coworkers, family, significant other, a stranger off the street, or just come alone (you'll make many new friends)! WORD OF CAUTION: It's addictive! It is an amazing and fun place. I literally go there for either gatherings or solo bc I enjoy myself, it is a stress reliever for me. Brandon was my very first instructor and he was just so reassuring, encouraging and fun during the holidays when we painted a holiday ornament. Connie was awesome when painting the crescent moon and such a hoot. I even went back to paint my pet with Brandon and Tucker, I got brave and at first I was unsure of myself but it all came together and I'm proud of my painting. Definitely try it out with friends or by yourself. You won't be disappointed. Take it from me, someone who couldn't even draw a straight line! Here there is no need for drawing, it's okay to make a mistake bc everything is fixable and it is fun painting! read more

Forget-Me-Not, Inc., a no kill pet rescue had a fun-raiser today at Painting with a Twist in Bradenton, FL. Brandon, Lue, and Veronica were our instructors. All were very kind, patient, and reassuring. We had a lot of fun painting our pets this afternoon. Special thanks to Lue. A member of our group submitted her dog, but at the last minute, was unable to attend. At the end of our event, Lue offered to paint her dog. We are so appreciative that he went the extra mile to make sure she was included and would have a painting of her dog. If you have not been to an event at Painting with a Twist, try it out. This is probably one of my favorite places to spend with my mother when she comes to visit! Every few months she comes down and we look forward to our "mother daughter night out" together! The classes are always light and fun and full of laughter! Brandon is such an incredible instructor and one of our favorites! Brandon!!! What a great teacher! I went with my grandma and mom and we loved it! First time at a paint and sip. He was great at planning out the night, well paced and funny and patient. And offered extra tips for us worry warts. We had a great time today. Everything was done to make us successful: materials all set up and ready to go, good quality brushes, excellent instructions from Brandon! He was fun and very positive....helped build our confidence! Brandon made sure we could see what he was doing and brought his example around if it was a subtle effect and might be hard to seen from a distance. An overhead camera that projected onto a large screen also helped. He encouraged us to add our own individual touches. The afternoon was a success. read more

Absolutely love this place!! Its so much fun! I go at least once a month! its a great way to just let loose and be yourself. Veronica is an amazing instructor, we had a blast with her for the palm tree painting! And the rest of the staff are always so helpful, encouraging and fun!! I recommend everyone to try it!! What a great time! Even my husband who said, "I'm not really going to even try because I know I will be horrible..." loved it and had (in my opinion) the best painting in the class! Tonight was my first Painting with a Twist experience. I was very hesitant about ever doing one because I can't draw, at all! Tiffany, our instructor put me at ease and I had a blast! By the time my painting was done, it looked "great"! My aunt called my trees "Dr Seuss" trees and Tiffany agreed and said that the Truffula trees were her favorite! This was my second trip, to PWAT Bradenton. There will be many more to come. I absolutely loved the energy and fun environment. This is not like any class I've ever been to. My first artist/instructor was Tiffany, second time it was Brandon and Lue. Both times, the "party hosts" were amazing. Wine and snacks are welcome. They provide aprons, all supplies and fun music. This was my first visit to the Bradenton PWAT and I happened to be a winner of a Paint your pet session. Having recently lost my Shih Tzu I wanted to honor her and Brandon was the instructor. First, he did a beautiful sketch on the canvas which served as a guide. Brandon was very encouraging and helped with ideas for fixing an area I made a mistake on. Big fun today at my friend P.'s birthday party! It was my first time at a painting party like this. I can't say enough good things about Phil J. as the instructor. He's not only hilarious and paces the session well with a great playlist (and dance moves), but he's a patient, knowledgeable and experienced artist and instructor -- perfect for anyone from a complete beginner on up.
