Looking for a great group activity, date fun or time with friends! The Bent Brush is a local gem where you can spend quality time making personalized quality items! Our group of 6 was met by spunky Paulette who gave us a complete and thorough explanation on how The Bent Brush operates. After washing our hands FIRST (don't want to smudge the ceramics ) we spent time looking at all the fun ceramics to choose for painting. There are various sizes, shapes and specimens to choose from with a variety of paints, brushes and tools to use as your creative mind chooses. I will be specific and say, take your time! There is no rushing here and you are encouraged to be as creative as possible. The staff is so friendly and helpful; so don't be afraid to ask for assistance! Plus, they have so many art tools that can enhance your experience you'll never know what can aide you in your next "Van-Gough" piece Our group had a great time, singing to the awesome 80's music playing in the background and painting in this super cheerful atmosphere. Yes, we will be back! read more

Such a cool place. I have been a few times with my humans. Found this a very enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. So much fun that the time gets away from you. This last time my humans made a spider, an alien and a narwal, and a dog treat jar!! I helped with that one!!! The staff is very helpful and even gave some tips on how to write my name on the jar. They checked on us often and got us everything we needed. One of my humans is not good in art but loves this experience and actually has made some cool things. There was also some kind of event there and everyone in the birthday party had so much fun. A great way to spend a few to several hours making cool things and gifts!! Highly recommend this one!! 5 stars and can't wait until the next one!!! Bodhi Approved! #BodhiFin read more

I am very happy to give this place 5 stars. Loved it from the first time I walked in. So much to choose from. They have classes for clay building, wheel classes, birthday parties, mosaics, so much more. So many paints to choose from, the choices are endless. The vibe in the building is really chill. The owners treat you like they've known you for years. You'll want to return to do more art. Great place for kids to paint too. Great hours! Great prices. And you don't have to finish your piece in that one day. You can come back. It's in a great location too. You won't regret it. Give 'em a try. Voted best in the Cape 3 years in a row for a reason! read more

What a cute painting/ pottery spot. I have recommended to all my friends. The kids price for sculpting and painting is at a price where we feel we will continue to keep coming back for more! Very appreciative. read more

Great place for the accomplished or the novice painter/crafter! They fo all the work for you, you just get to create!!

Must go here! I walked in not knowing what to expect but the amazing and friendly staff made me feel good and confident going into it, not only that but the facility was amazing very clean very organized and cute! Such a good place to throw a kids birthday party or even a get together for ad UPDATE! As I went recently excited to paint and relax again, I picked my piece that was labeled 10$ clearly labeled as 10! Upon checkout the male worker told me it was 24 dollars instead! So he went to have a look at the setup once I asked him and he told me "yes I certainly can see how you would have thought that was the price" and "yea it looks 10$" and refused to discount the item FALSELY ADVERTISED! Very upset and I would just go to the other paint place down the road! read more

We had a great time! This is a perfect spot for a date! We first got to choose from a wide selection of pottery pieces that ranged in price. I picked an espresso cup and my husband picked a large cup. The studio was very cute and there were a lot of glaze options. read more

So much fun! Family did the mosaics and took about 1.5 hours. Easy for kids to do as well.

Such a fun activity! Kid friendly. Best variety of pottery for painting I've seen. There are plenty of kid friendly figurines and piggy banks but also very nice adult dishes and decorative items. They have a great variety of paints and tools too! It's a large space with plenty or room to spread out. The atmosphere is bright and airy and the staff is helpful and friendly. The prices aren't too high but not cheap either. I took my daughter and she painted a miniature tea set and i painted two cereal bowls and we paid $76. We really enjoyed it. I recommend bringing something to drink as they don't have anything available. read more

Great place for the family! Friendly staff! Great value! Look forward to going back in the future!

This place is SO FUN. First timer here. They are so patient and show you all the different techniques so you end up with a real neat looking cup or plate, etc. There are SO many options of things to paint. They do glass work too, and sculpting. I want to learn it all. Thanks for helping this newbie out! I will be back with my fiancé. read more
