She really did a great job explaining and assisting so that my experience was nothing less than stellar! I loved her personality. She had a knack for explaining the right way to do something without making you feel like you were "doing it wrong." She was encouraging. I didn't feel rushed at all and my painting was (if I do say so myself) so so so good!!! I especially enjoyed going to the open paint because it allowed Jenny to give a lot more individual attention and instruction since there were only 3 of us in the class on the Friday afternoon. I am definitely looking forward to the next open paint (on a Friday, of course!). Even if you've never painted a day in your life (like me), Jenny has a real gift at helping you paint like Picasso! Ok, ok... not like Picasso maybe, but your art will look great!!! :) 21SEP18- I'm feeling very deflated. Just walked back from Painting with a Twist to my hotel after finding out that Jenny, the artist didn't show up for Open Paint because no one signed up on line in advance. The last time, I didn't sign up in advance; I walked in (actually right at 2pm whereas today I got there early) and was able to paint. I didn't realize that it was so necessary to sign up online. Besides not having to have done so previously, I also didn't want to take a chance if I was unable to make it. The warning they have online makes it seem like you won't get your money back if you're unable to show up so I didn't want to take that chance since I'm here in Ft. Myers on business and staying at a hotel and could possibly not be here when I wanted to paint. I think it would be great if the store would allow people to sign up if they're interested (wording this as such on the sign up) so at least they'd know that there are people who really want to go but may not be able to do so. I had such a WONDERFUL experience with Jenny and I was looking forward to painting with her again. I'm really sad that I wasn't able to have this opportunity.

Marie, the owner was very accommodating to get us all in on Monday, a normal day they are closed. Erin, our instructor was very knowledgeable and patient with each step of the painting.
