Their first venue opened in 2006 on Broadway Street in downtown Fort Myers. While there, they were instrumental in creating the Fort Myers Art Walk which has been going on for ten tears. Later on they became daas Gallery and now their current incarnation is DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts. In addition to running the gallery they stage different events throughout the year. Check out their Facebook page for dates and times. Today, DAAS is a cooperative that provides space for local artist to exhibit and sell their work. Support small businesses! The gallery is located in the Gardner's Park District along with other other businesses in the same complex including a garden store, coffee and food shop, and a butterfly aviary. Items they had for sale included wall art, mugs, jewelry, sculptures, magnets, notecards, and clothes to name just a few of the items. The store has a beachy, laid back vibe. I talked to the lady working here and she told me they moved the store to downtown Fort Meyers area recently. They initially had a store on the artsy Matlacha island but it got destroyed by hurricane Ian so they relocated here. I wish I would have gone to Matlacha art village but this store brings a bit of that world to you and to everyone in Fort Meyers. It is great to see work created by local artists. They have everything from pottery, home decor, paitings, sculptures, souvenirs, jewelry. Various styles, materials used for creating wonderful merchandise. Nice surprise to find this cute store and learn about their story. Great they reinvented themselves and keep supporting local artists. Steampunk clothing is inspired by the fashions of the Victorian Era in England (1837-1901) and the Belle Epoque in France (1871-1914). Gears, goggles, and hats accent the outfits. When my daughter was in middle school she was really into steampunk and went to several cosplays. Our local renaissance fair even does a steampunk day. I will never forgot the whole family dressed up as time travelers who left the Titanic. They were the best costumes ever. As a lover of history, I am really drawn to the steampunk style so when I saw this interesting store off of First Street in historic downtown Fort Myers I had to pop in to take a peek. Another Time is an art gallery that has two rooms dedicate to all things steampunk, art, jewelry, and clothing. There are even some mermaids, pirates, and dragons thrown in. Even if you are not into Steampunk per se, the lovely necklaces are worth a visit. It was really fun to look around. They have another store Timeless that is located a short distance away on First Street.

A photographer would have been so much easier, lol. I am a big fan of steampunk. This store had mermaids, creatures, lamps, octopuses, paintings, art, gears and much more. I was in cloud 9. This is one of two stores. They both are steampunk stores. They are located near each other. You can walk to it. I recommend seeing them both. They each have different art work. They are both pretty cool. The employee here was a very interesting person to talk to. He seemed knowledgeable and helpful of the store. He took the time to explain some of the art.
