Friendly, professional staff. House is so clean - They even get on hands and knees to do floors! Team 7 is THE BEST!! I've been using the maids for years and love them! read more

We have had The Maids employed for years, first in our home in Upper Marlboro, and for the last 9 years in Davidsonville. We are happy to give them our highest recommendation. They are not inexpensive, but I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". Every time we come home to a cleaned home, it gives me joy; the house smells great, and everything just sparkles! Recently, we had to pause their service due to a family emergency, and were overjoyed when we could resume their service. The quality of their work is exemplary. Well done, ladies! read more

The Maids just left. Maria and her team were exceptional! Kind, efficient, and professional. My home is gleaming! Very happy with the results. However, the price for a 3 brm, 1 bth, 1000sq home was $515.00. THAT is insane! read more

I am updating my review from a year ago. Although I will say for the most part they still clean fairly well, we have had a couple of issues, that is not the reason for my update. I am beyond annoyed with this service and their lack of respect for my supplies and belongings. I am 99 percent of the time home when they are here but I do try to stay out of their way and there are 4 of them and one of me. That being said they are super to furnish their own cleaning supplies unless I ask them to specifically use something that I furnish. I have only asked that they use my Bona for hardwood floors, which they have stopped doing. Not because I don't have it they just don't. BUT...my bleach, my Downy Unstoppables, my Barkeepers Friend, my Bounty, my Fabuloso have all been taken not for use in my house. I just went to do laundry and my SPLASHLESS Clorox was filled with water and that is not the first time. The other issue is doing it a little at a time, how do you prove it?! They come weekly so it is rare that I need to use my cleaning products and then they are gone or watered down. I call it in and they say they ask the team but NOBODY has done it. Spending more than $250 a week and getting robbed, any suggestions on a new cleaning service. read more

I simply had an amazing experience with the maids! Booking was simple and easy. I received a quote through Yelp. I called the number and gave them my details then set my date, which was within a week. The maids arrived on time with all their equipment. It was three of them, I did a move out clean with carpet cleaning. There was a simple little mixup that was quickly resolved with great customer service by the call center. At the end of the clean, there were minor details I saw that the maids promptly took care of. I highly recommend them and if I were still in the area I would definitely use them again! read more

From the moment of arrival, the execution of service and communication was excellent! Lead by Alma, Team 7 detailed and deep cleaned our home to perfection. From doors, to base boards, corners, lights, pictures ....... each room. Spotless kitchen and bathrooms!!! Alma and Team 7 the best! Thank you greatly! read more

Contacted The Maids to have a cleaning before an Open House; they gave me a quote and the The Maids arrived during their expected arrival window. I received a phone call stating that they could require up to an additional 30 mins of cleaning due to excess dust and this would be $97; however, it would be prorated if they didn't use the entire 30 mins. I hesitantly agreed, although I did not believe my house was that dusty, since I had recently prepped it for being placed on the market. When I returned home, I discovered my receipt, totaling $453, along with my dining room chairs not returned properly under the table, random dust/hair bunnies on the floor, items removed from under the bed and placed in the closet, and oil spots on my quilt. I immediately called and spoke with Bobbi, who reduced the cost of my cleaning to compensate for my dissatisfaction and the ruined/irreplaceable quilt. Afterwards, I checked my home security cameras and realized that The Maids were only at my home for 2 hours, not 2 hrs and 30 mins, like they claimed and charged me for. While I was satisfied with Bobbi's customer service, I was quite unsatisfied with the woman who called to follow up with my cleaning today, who obviously had not read my file before placing the call and offered me no further compensation. Long story short, I had a horrible experience and won't be using their service again. read more

I was VERY happy with The Maids. My wife and I moved out of our condo, and we ordered the "move out" cleaning. I really wasn't sure what this would entail, but basically, it was everything! Three maids came and immediately started working, even on things I was afraid I was going to have to do myself (cleaned inside each cabinet, cleaned the oven grates, the inside of fridge and microwave, etc.). Even a couple of places that were "test" spots were cleaned. There was a spider web over one of my lights, and a lot of lint behind my washer/dryer. They got it all! Couldn't have been happier with The Maids. read more

I needed a move-out clean for my single family home. I requested an appointment in the morning, and was told the Maids would call the day before my service to give me a two hour arrival window. My Appointment was not in the morning, but in the late afternoon. The Maids arrived and judging by their line of questions, were not familiar with what services exactly that were ordered. They were left to do their thing, which is probably where I went wrong. They didn't clean the laundry room, nor did they wipe down the walls or baseboards. They forgot one of the fridges and a freezer was still dirty. Considering how much I paid (nearly $300), and the fact that I cut out the vacuuming ( had a separate carpet cleaner), there's really no excuse for this. When the company called a few days later to ask how the services were, I explained and was met with an unapologetic tone. Whoever I spoke with said she'd make a note on my account and give me $25 off the next 3 appointments I schedule. Which is an empty apology considering I won't ever use them again, plus it just means dumping more money into their pockets. Unless they have services that are less than $25 meaning they'd be free. But I seriously doubt that. Lesson learned. Do the cleaning yourself. read more

The Maids are spectacular! I have been involved with several other cleaning services, but as far as the immaculate job, personable cleaning teams, and flexible scheduling The Maids has it in the bag. I will be continuing to use them for many many years to come!!! Thanks Team #3! read more

Excellent!!! They took a major load off of me to clean following a tenant move-out. They cleaned the blinds, countertops, refrigerator and stove for a great price!!! I love them and I will definitely use them again read more

After a long search for a reliable, effective, inexpensive home cleaning agency I received a reference for the maids. And man was I impressed! They not only did a fantastic job cleaning but they were friendly, punctual and there was no gimmicks involved. My house felt professionally cleaned and there was no lingering Clorox or Lysol odor! Now I have them clean biweekly and I couldn't be happier with their service. I highly recommend using the maids!! read more

Our house looked amazing after a morning with The Maids. Every cushion was vacuumed, the carpets looked amazing, every mirror was spot-free, you name it. Scheduling was a snap, from the first call to confirming the day before. Knocked down one-star due to the steep initial price and not knowing the time of the cleaning until the day before (makes it tough to schedule coverage at the house), but the actual cleaning was excellent. I look forward to having The Maids return to our home. read more

I have hired The Maids for many years now. Great cleaning teams, always happy with the attention to detail and can be trusted in the home alone. Last year I went looking for a less expensive service but keep coming back to this company because they always do a fantastic job! read more

My wife was so impressed with their first time service that we ended up signing up for bi-weekly service afterwards, even though I thought the price was pretty steep. ($400 first time, $200 bi-weekly) My wife was really impressed by their level of details so I went along with what made her happy. The first two times were great. They showed up on time and cleaned well. On last Friday, which was supposed to be our third service, they were supposed to show up between 3-5pm and didn't show up until 6:15pm. By then my wife and I were already out of the house and eating dinner. She left a key under the door mat but the maids couldn't get in and we missed the call about this (the call left to us around 6:20pm, by this time, we thought they were a no-show). She called back around 6:45pm and left a message saying that she's like to reschedule. She also emailed a person she's been in contact with the beginning. We said we'd take any appointment this week-- so far, no phone call back from them as of Tuesday afternoon. If no one gets back to reschedule by tomorrow, we are thinking of canceling the continuous service. It's a shame because my wife really liked them but we need folks who can deliver consistently, not just do great job in the beginning and fizzle. Update: Gave them an extra star for reconciling with us. The following service was very good! read more

The Maids have been cleaning our house for years. The staff is very friendly and they do a wonderful job. They're always great about re-scheduling. They make the kitchen look phenomenal - seriously, I don't know how they get the stovetop so polished looking. Also, the house smells great when they're done. read more

i can't even rate their services because they were not even organized/decent enough to give me a quote. I filled out their automated form and was contacted via phone by their manager (I'm guessing) the next day. I have limited availability to a phone so I asked for it to be emailed- the reply was "We do estimates via phone until 6". Well, I called back on my way home, the manager couldn't speak with me and never called me back.. Yeah, uhh, no thanks!! read more

VERY BAD SERVICE.I am very disappointed with the move-out clean.First they quoted a a charge of $187 for a condo that they have previously cleaned. In the middle of the cleaning they call me and say that they need more time and I will be charged $357.we had to handover the condo next day so I had no choice. They did such a bad job kitchen was left dirty .carpets were not vacuumed. My landlord was very upset and called another cleaning company and deducted 300 dollars from my security deposit.so on the whole I had to spend$657 for a horrible job.I called maids.com and explained my problem. All they kept saying is that they will try to clean to my satisfaction after repeatedly saying that the landlord has hired someone else to clean and that I don't have access to the property anymore.i asked them for another way of compensation no response to my email. There cleaning standards have significantly dropped.Beware of this place Stephanie I did hire your company for move out clean .my email is Radhikabuchigari@gmail.com. Service date 04/08.I was asked to contact your Operations Manager Mrs. Cheryl Trader left her a lot of voice mails but got no response. read more

If I could give a 0 rating, I would. My property has been damaged, we were promised they would replace the expensive items & now their insurance company offered a fraction of the replacement value. All this after the service is nothing more than a 'wipe down', no thorough cleaning. I'm extremely disappointed. The positive side, the cleaners were very nice to my dog. read more

The Maids do a thorough cleaning and are very pleasant and trustworthy. I have been using them every 3 weeks for over 3 years. I can trust them and they are wonderful ladies. It's nice to have such a large team to work on my home because they get the job completed sooner. Would highly recommend! Team #1 read more

First time ever using a maid service and I am spoiled. I moved out of the home I was renting and didn't have the time to clean it. Glad I didn't. The Maids did 10x better than I ever could of. Very quick and efficient and courteous. We just purchased a new home and I am trying to convince my husband that we need weekly service (I hope it works lol). I would recommend them to a friend in a heartbeat. Thanks! read more

I used "The Maids" for cleaning service when I moved out of my apartment. My apartment was a mess and the team did such a fantastic job getting it back to it's original condition. The Maids, group #10 with the leader being. Giselle, did a FANTASTIC job on my home! Devora did all of the vacuuming and I was so impressed by the team! These magical fairy cleaning ladies are THE BOMB!!! This was a first experience for me...I've talked about it for quite some time, but never took the first step. Well, I'm sure glad I finally did it! Long story short, I have sciatica that flares up sporadically, which means I can't clean my house like I want to! :( This time, instead of waiting until it subsided, I reached out to The Maids....on a Thursday evening, with the hope of getting my home cleaned the next day! Don't you know these magical fairy cleaning ladies came through and delivered! I got a call at 8am inquiring about my house, the team was here at 10:30. When I say they cleaned every...single...nook AND cranny - that is an understatement...y'all, at one point, one of the fairies was standing on a step stool wiping down my kitchen cabinets! *faints* - lol! I am beyond impressed at their level of detail...so impressed that I think we'll be checking into a hotel tonight because I don't want to mess it up! haha - j/k! These magical fairy cleaning ladies have definitely acquired a long-term customer. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! read more

The Maids have been cleaning my home for a number of years. I have always had the same team and they do a fabulous job. At one point there were 4 adults and 3 children living here and every time after they left every nook and cranny was spotless. If anyone says anything about the price I will say one thing in return, you get what you pay for. If they are a little more expensive it's because they do a great, thorough job. Love The Maids !! read more

This was my first time using a cleaning service and I was very impressed! We had signed the lease on a house and were moving in in a few days, and weren't going to have time to give it a good deep clean. I submitted a request via the website for a quote, and received a call within an hour or 2. The woman I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and went through a very thorough list of what the cleaning crew would do for a move-in clean. She gave me an estimate of 2 hours for a 4 person team and was able to set me up with an appointment on fairly short notice, which I really appreciated. The crew showed up right at the end of the quoted time frame - I wouldn't have minded earlier but hey... I was quoted a time frame and they definitely hit it, so I can't complain about that! They went to work *immediately*, while the team lead asked me to show her around and explain what I would like done in each room. I was dubious 4 people would be able to clean a 4 bed/3 bath house in 2 hours but they were definitely hustling. Ultimately, they actually ended up finishing 15 minutes early! The team lead had me walk around and check everything, and asked me multiple times if I was satisfied with the quality of work - I most certainly was! They hit a lot of places I thought for sure would be missed - tops of door frames, tops of outlet covers, window frames, baseboards in corners, etc... all cleaned. I was really impressed with the attention to detail. A fair warning though - they don't do walls. Mine had some marks and smudges on them that I hoped they'd take care of but... not a big deal, really. I was very happy with the whole experience - from the initial quote through the call I received a few days later just to check in and make sure I was happy. I would absolutely recommend The Maids to friends! Thank you! read more

The ladies did a wonderful job as always! I came home to find they had made my bed (I had left clean linens in a disorganized heap on top of my bed). I wasn't expecting them to do that. What a treat! A big thanks to The Maids! Very pleased with the overall cleaning as always!!! read more

Services are very complete and always as scheduled. I have used The Maids services for many years and am always happy with the results.

They're great! They clean it the way I do. I've since set them up to recurring appointments. Go with The Maids!

Wow!! I thought I'd come home to a clean home, but it was absolutely spotless everywhere! What a great job!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! What a waste of money!! We scheduled a 'move in clean' of an empty house and after they cleaned (Wednesday), we spent a whole day cleaning baseboards, fans, doors, toilets, etc. We called to complain (Friday) and a supervisor was sent right out to check things out. She realized that there was so much that wasn't done and was supposed to be so she started cleaning herself. We told her about all of the spots that were clearly not cleaned by the team, and that we hadn't gotten to ourselves. Assuming that we pointed out our concerns, we went on to do our own projects in the new house and let her clean. She was very nice, but, when she left there were quite a few things that still weren't clean. At this rate, there was no sense in continuing to complain as there would only be the same result as the first two 'cleans'. Apparently we should have 'babysat' the cleaners to make sure she they cleaned everything that needed to be done. I was very very excited to try The Maids out based off of their excellent reviews and close location to my new home for potential of becoming a repeat client...man was I wrong! This was such a disappointment and waste of time and money that could be used elsewhere! Besides the fact that I cannot give zero stars, the only good thing was the clean lemon smell after they left even though many things were not clean. read more
