I have used The Maid Connection for quite some time, but have never taken the time to write a review. I thought I should finally give them the recognition and credit they deserve. The ladies always arrive on time and are extreemly profrssional and pleasant to deal with. They are very thorough, they attend to every detail, and in my opinion go above and beyond what we had been used to from other cleaning services. I find the office staff to be very easy to work with and flexable. If we ever need to change a day or a time they have always figured out a way to facilitate our needs! This was my first time using a cleaning service so I chose The Maid Connection based on their pricing and immediate availability. I selected the deep cleaning service, which included a few additional details such as baseboards and wet wipe dusting. Irene and Dara came about an hour early but did notify me via text with their photos for safety purposes. I appreciate that they worked around my cat. They were able to get rid of rust water rings on my toilets that I've been trying to do myself! However, I would loved if they did more of a scrub on my stovetop surface. I got the impression they were just trying to stay within the 2 hours estimate so rushed my downstairs area a little bit. Overall they did a great job and I will consider using them again when I move out of my apartment. read more

Your employees say a lot about the company. When wearing the uniform and driving the vehicles with liveries, they represent the type of company you run. Having 2 workers on their phones while driving, cutting me off in traffic because they aren't paying attention to the road, tells me they won't pay attention to the work I need done in my house. They don't care about the company they represent, it's just a means for $$. I won't ever hire from this company. read more

I have the ladies come every other week and clean our house, just to save me the time, energy, and anxiety with working out of town and my husband not being the master of clean, if you know what I mean. Not only did Michele set us up with a great rate, but the gals make quick work of what would take me half a Saturday to do. Instead I can play with my kids and get the rest of the errands done. The gals are timely, friendly, and obviously do a great job. I've had to reschedule once due to travel, and Michele helped me work it out so I could still get the house cleaned before we left. I asked for 3 hours of deep cleaning. I was charged for 4.5 and there were obvious areas that hadn't been cleaned (I.e., the cabinets weren't wiped down, blinds weren't dusted). I am only even giving 3 stars because when I called back to complain, they sent the ladies back to the house to finish what hadn't been done without extra charge. read more

I was preparing a house in Saddlebrooke for rental and was in need of a cleaning service and had heard nice things about The Maid Connection. I called them and the person on the phone was pleasant and I was able to make a relatively quick appointment (I was able to get the service scheduled within one week from the day I called). The service sent two people out to do the cleaning for $85 an hour. It took them 2.5 hours to clean two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and kitchen to include cupboards, oven/stove, kitchen/bath floors, ceiling fans, blinds, inside windows and baseboards (I did not require vacuuming of the living room, family room or bedrooms as I had a carpet cleaning service coming later that day). Upon completion I inspected all the rooms for cleanliness, except the kitchen and small bathroom off the kitchen since the cleaners had just mopped the area and I didn't want to make tracks on the floor. A cursory inspection led me to believe everything looked good so I called the main office and arranged a credit card payment over the phone. After lunch I returned to await the carpet cleaners and discovered what appeared to be reddish brown spots from the area around the oven, leading me to believe it was from the oven cleaner as the spots were on the floor on both sides of the oven door and none underneath the oven door when opened. I promptly called the office to point out the issue with the spots and was asked to send pictures by Michele, the company's president. She called me shortly after receiving the pictures and stated they did not use a product that would leave spots on the floor. I explained I knew for a fact the spots were not there prior to the cleaners arriving as I had just swept the floor the day prior. She said she would have someone come out to assess what could have caused the spots. I informed her I was leaving the next morning and that we had renters arriving in two days time and to contact my brother to make arrangements. We never heard back from them and they never sent anyone out. We were concerned the spots might become permanent, so my sister-in-law researched methods of removing stains caused by oven cleaner from linoleum floors. After a few unsuccessful methods we discovered the Mr. Clean eraser, and a lot of elbow grease, made the spots barely noticeable after 30 minutes of two people scrubbing the floor. When I returned home to Hawaii, I contacted Michele again and informed her how we were able to mitigate the spots and she said she would compensate us $20 for our troubles (supposedly what she would have paid two employees for a half hour's work - never mind they charge $85 an hour). I told her that was not acceptable since the spots were not there previously. She once again claimed she didn't believe the products they use would have left the spots. However, when told we were able to clean some of the spots off with Mr. Clean eraser, she somewhat contradicted herself by stating the cleaning product(s) they use would have eaten through the linoleum. In the end she only compensated us $40. Basically the cleaners did a decent job, but I find it unacceptable that they didn't point out any issues with the spots they claim were already on the floor, and that the president of the company insinuated that I was not truthful when I complained about the spots. She acknowledged that her employees should be informing customers of any preexisting issues prior to commencing with their cleaning activities from now on. Small consolation for me. Word to the wise, if you decide to go with this service, make sure to photograph your house prior to having it cleaned by them. read more

Over the 2.5 months we employed the Maid Connection, we were gradually packing up what we could pack up, readying for a move into an independent living community. Calling around to maid services, The Maid Connection was one of the few willing to quote an hourly rate and work from my 'to do' list. The rate was reasonable, the teams prompt, competent, and fast.
