We had an excellent breakfast and lunch here yesterday and returned for breakfast today and plan to try the huckleberry shake a little later. We confess however that before returning here this morning we stopped at the Saturday morning farmers market in Baker hoping for some fresh fruit, but no, the farmers market had baked goods, homemade jams, and crafts, but no fruit. Considering that we are deep in the Great Basin, we'll forgive the lack of fruit and enjoy the breakfast nachos and the daily specials.

In general, this place is a great place to stock up, get supplies, and cute stuff in general! You need a sandwich or a latte, they got it, and they're also open really early and pretty late too. This is super helpful for road trips as we arrived in the evening and left early. They have details about other cool stuff, like the park to park in the dark, along with cute stickers and pins celebrating nature. They are also an inn! They sold out for our dates but we are interested in staying there next visit, especially as they host some pretty cool events too.

The servers were next-level friendly and prompt despite the dinner rush, they have some fun art, and it's a peaceful place. I really loved the green beans, and another favorite item was the apricot sorbet. They make a ton of items, which is very cool. I only wish they had a few more dairy-free items (especially for breakfast), but what they do offer is far better than expected for this remote location- it would stand up in any metro area. My husband raved about the root beer float, pasta, and pizza. Dinner is sit-down and if you go for breakfast or lunch, it's counter service. They have an extremely well-stocked bar- we didn't partake, but many around us did, and drinks looked excellent.

The owners are selling the restaurant so the great looking food on the website and in yelp pictures is no longer offered. The menu consisted of burgers, pizza, the saddest brisket ever, ravioli, and some salads. The ravioli and pizza were ok at best. The brisket was pretty awful. While there are some pretty neat old pictures inside, the rest of the restaurant decor seems really random. The lady that served us seemed nice and was on top of bringing us everything we ordered in a timely manner. We weren't able to try the homemade ice cream sandwiches as there seemed to be some kind of problem with the freezer. Will not return.
