The luv shak is a must try in Oxford ms! Not only is there amazing food but there are INSANELY GOOD BAGELS on Sundays! I have had the luv shak on my must try list for at least a month!!!!! the guy that makes all their stuff is like a bagel professional and knows what hes talking about. i chatted with him for a good 10 minutes while in line. lets just say get there early on sundays... he taught me all about how to keep my leftover bagels good- and i listened. truly a great experience and he gave me a free one. the food is top teir and the luv shak is the cutest little place and everyone signs there names. me and my friend wrote our names and it has the coolest lighting. very little seats as it is a shak. i think they usually have a patio thing going butt it was raining so i didnt see.

Favorite place to eat at school! Only $10 per meal also! It's great for college kids who want an actual meal! Dennis is the sweetest person you'll meet! Make sure to follow them on instagram because that's where he post what's for dinner!

So despite being in Oxford for the past 4 years and living within walking distance, I never knew this place existed. But oh how my life has changed now that i know there is a delicious Italian joint nearby. After meeting the people who run the LuvShak, I for sure will be back. In order to find their menu, follow them on Instagram. On Wednesday's, they have Wildcard Wednesday, which is where they make whatever they want. Tonight this dish was the baked cheese ravioli with the option to add pepperoni. I would highly recommend giving this quaint and friendly Italian restaurant a try.

Worth finding, Sunday morning bagels as they should be, about as good as I have found outside of NY. Taylor Ham + egg + cheese + cream cheese and you can't go wrong. Raisin Bagel, Plain Bagel, Everything Bagel all really good. It takes a bit as they are cooked to order, but worth the wait. Definitely doing this one again.

Drove by and always saw the sign stopped by today and tried it for the first time. It's small and nice. The people running it were incredible and great to converse with. The are open Monday-Friday 4-8PM. They offer one meal a night. Tonight is Wednesday and they have Wacky Wednesday which they randomly choose a dish. Tonight was cheese ravioli and it was incredible. Will be coming back to try the other nightly soecial

Seriously, don't bother for breakfast in a Sunday. Most inefficient place I have ever been to.

Bagels are best breakfast in Oxford. There is a wait, but it is worth it. Dinners are wonderful too.

My manicotti was so bland it could've been served at a tax seminar. For prices that suggest a culinary revelation, we got dishes that wouldn't impress a truck stop diner. The service matched the food's enthusiasm--our server was polite but they weren't giving the Olive Garden a run for their money, let's be real.. The bill hit like a personal insult, far too steep for such a lackluster show. Word is the ramen might be better, but after this, I'm not betting on it. Oxford's food scene isn't barren, far from it. The town boasts gems that deliver honest, delicious fare without the ego. But spots like SoLa, with their trendy pomp and inflated tabs, are a bitter letdown for anyone who's ventured beyond state lines and tasted what distant lands can offer. The Moms and I left wishing we'd picked a place that respects both palate and purse.

I actually spotted it from the bookstore balcony across the street, which made for a great first impression. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations from the menu. Since I was dining solo, I grabbed a seat at the bar, which worked out perfectly. I started with a small Caesar salad. It was definitely on the smaller side, but surprisingly flavorful--especially if you enjoy a strong garlic profile. For my main dish, I built my own pizza: pesto base, mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, red tomatoes, and a hot spicy honey drizzle. The flavor combination was outstanding--really well balanced and memorable. The only drawback was the crust, which was a bit soft and seemed slightly undercooked. The wait time was reasonable, around 15-20 minutes. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot, especially if you're with a group. It does get a bit loud, so it may not be ideal for a quiet date night. I visited on a Friday, and they closed at 8 PM due to a live band, which added to the lively atmosphere. This is a place I'd gladly return to the next time I'm in Oxford.

The chicken sandwich...possibly the worst I've ever had. I don't know if I got a bad piece or what, but it was chewy. Almost like it wasn't cooked all the way through. This place would have gotten at least 4 stars if the food was even halfway decent. But it was not. Only reason it was 2 stars instead of 1 was because of the solid service from the bartender and the neat atmosphere.

Being from the Houston area, we have yet to find pizza there we truly enjoy. We came in a bit after 8, they close at 9, and we were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered a medium Kujo thin crust and had two side house salads with blue cheese and had a couple of draft beers (a Parish Pure Tropics IPA and a Good People West Coast). The salads were crisp and fresh, and if I could have received a gallon of their blue cheese dressing I would have bought it. It was EXCELLENT and I'm a picky blue cheese dressing girl. I'd love to know what brand it was! The pizza was hot, came out quickly and very good. The crust was perfect and the sauce was delicious (not too little, not too much). The beers were ice cold. Lastly, we were there right up to the time they closed and we were not made to fee rushed, at all, and we were asked if we would like another beer or dessert, meaning, stay longer if you'd like! Service was great. Side note: hubby accidentally left his base ball cap there, we were on the road by 5am this morning. I messaged them, they found it and are shipping it to us. Refused me offering to pay or send a label for the cost to ship it. Again, excellent service and kind folks!
