I typically go to take 5 oil center to get an oil change because it's quick and easy. I like to support local, but also, I like what's fast and convenient during the lunch hour. I decided to stop by The Lubrication Center because it had so many great Yelp reviews and wasn't too far from the office. So glad I did! I pulled in, there were 3 guys that came out to help direct me where I needed to go. Once I got out my car, the guy asked if I wanted synthetic oil (based on my car) and told me the price & asked if it was ok. Quick and straight to the point. It literally took about 10 minutes (I think even less) for my synthetic oil change and I was done! While I waited in the waiting room, I was able to buy a loaf of banana bread that supports the Victory Family Center - win win. I really enjoyed my experience because it was quick and easy. When they told me my car was ready, they didn't try selling me on anything, which was SO nice. I was offered a free air freshener at the end as well - yay! Review on Customer Service Only-- They didn't do any work for me because my previous oil change place screwed my oil cap on too tight for them to remove. However, I appreciated the good service. They didn't try to sell me on anything else and they took their time to explain to me what was going on so I could address it with the location that had done my previous oil change. Came in for a quick oil change but unfortunately everyone else in the area decided to do the exact thing at the same time. The sign says ten minute oil change but I knew with the five cars ahead of me that wasn't going to happen. The serviceman who greeted me was so friendly and offered to let me wait in my car or inside and also offered cold water. The actual service was quick as I was in and out in no time. I really love this place. It's fast, economical, and I never feel any pressure to have extra work done to my car. I hate it when I take my car for an oil change and it's followed up with 'you need to flush your power steering fluid', or get new windshield wipers, or anything else that I'm not prepared to do at that moment other than change my oil. Save yourself the anxiety and just use Lubrication Center. If this is your first time, the only entrance to this small shop is off 34th immediately east of Mangum, right next to Church's chicken. Be careful not to miss the entrance- you'll unfortunately have to do a lot of U-turns to get back. Once you find the entrance, pull around the building to the open bays and someone will direct you where to go. The two times I've been have been different- first time there were several cars in front of me and I had a bit of a soar, second time I came 30 minutes before they closed and there was no one else there. The actual time it takes them to change your oil isn't long. They advertise 10 minutes, but I swear the last time I waited about 5. It was amazing! There is a small waiting room with water, magazines, and a window AC unit for the hot summer months. Nothing fancy, but hopefully you aren't waiting there long. After the oil change they show you the new oil level in your car, and you get to pick a complimentary air freshener. If you can, get the coconut flavor. It's fantastic! I never knew that you could have such painless and anxiety-free oil changes, but it's true. If you're like me and are looking for a reasonably priced, time-efficient option where you aren't always being up sold, give Lubrication Center a chance. I bet you'll be happy you did! read more

I went here once towards the end of last year. Overall service was good, but they did sell me on an unnecessary air filter change. He showed me the air filter and recommended that it be changed. I thought this was odd since my air filter had been changed recently and it didn't look very dirty at all, but I agreed since he is the expert and also based on the great reviews here. I also felt uncomfortable because after I agreed he seemed to smirk as he turned to walk back outside (maybe my imagination?). After I left, I decided to look online to see how often an air filter needed to be changed and what a dirty air filter looks like. From what I read, I definitely didn't need to change the air filter. So if you go here, please be careful about agreeing to whatever services they recommend. I doubt I will return. read more

I"ve used this business several times and have been satisfied with the service. On a whim I took my car to my regular mechanic and had him change the oil. While he was doing the work he asked where i had it serviced before. I had purchased Mobil One Full synthetic and filter for him to install. Knowing this, he mentioned that the used oil from my engine did not appear to be full synthetic. He said used full synthetic oil had a dark reddish brown tint, and the oil from my vehicle definitely did not. after almost 5500 miles, it was pitch black. Also the oil filter was on so tight (they are supposed to be hand tightened), my mechanic had to forcibly squeeze the housing with large pliers to remove it. It appears that The Lubrication Center may be using synthetic blends and charging full synthetic prices. The last time I was there .. they used an unbranded container to full my car with oil. I was suspicious, but when I asked, was told it was pumped from a 55 gallon drum of unknown allegedly full synthetic oil, and put into an interim container for ease of pouring. Maybe it was an honest mistake by the technicians ,, or maybe NOT Caveat Emptor! read more

What a breath of fresh air! I can't tell you how many times workers have tried to upsell me when servicing my car. Brad was honest, down to earth, knowledgeable and courteous! My only regret is not having visited this establishment sooner. I visited on a Saturday, advised of an hour wait- no big deal (and not bad for having 6 cars ahead of me). Used my time wisely and grabbed breakfast across the street at Fiesta Tacos. Work done: advised of oil level, filled my tires, topped off fluids, checked filters & wipers. $36.50. Reason why I came to the Lubrication Center was because I read that there has been no complaints. The staff were really nice, service was fast, and they included extras which I thought was cool. I warned them that I have had a bad experience with oil changers before when they put silicone over where the cap should've been, but they lost the cap. I fixed it and there were no leaks, until I went to The Lubrication Center. My oil leaked all night and when I called them they had the nerve to tell me that my car was leaking already. To top it off, they messed up by putting too much air in one tire and my plug popped. When I called them this morning, all of a sudden they were rude and told me that we haven't had any trouble with anyone else so it was my car. Bullshit!!! I will never go to The Lubrication Center again. I put a cardboard under the car to see if it would leak and this is what I seen this morning. I am warning everyone, please do not go to The Lubrication Center. This morning I took it to my mechanic and he said that they didn't screw the cap tight enough! 1/2 a quart of oil lost.
