The staff were great also and cheerful. Hat's off to the night worker. Came down for something at 4:30 AM and asked if I wanted coffee as well. Just a couple of points of improvement. Water a couple of times wasn't hot in the shower. Also, I felt there were too many rules - a little more slack would be great. (e.g. no late checkouts and a charge if not out on time) Great weather for us too for beginning of April. The Jetty point is a great place to check out at low tide. Check out videos of the Sparlings (birds) back and forth with the waves. Thanks for the nice stay.

I've spent many weekends on the Pacific side of the State this year and have tried area vacation rentals, none as satisfying as this. Yes, there is more space in home rentals, but if you're a party of one or two, I think you'll enjoy the in-room amenities here including mini kitchen, large bath, cable and comfortable bed. Watch for the future wine bar under construction on first floor. The barber shop is already up and running too. Splurging here means $100 a night. There are other rooms for less. I have a huge desire for two strips of beachfront here and if you're smart about it, you'll start visiting Pacific Beach now. This previously neglected community is about to take an upswing. A much needed ocean therapy was calling my name and I drove west. Ended up in Ocean Shores. I left my town due to how crazy busy it would be with parades and a carnival, not knowing what's in store here. A pleasant surprise to see the streets lined with families. Anyway, got to shop, enjoy the festivities, and more importantly spend time walking the beach. Gorgeous day! Took a chance, walked in, asked if there were any vacancies, and they had the one. It was a king bedroom with a partial view... and I took it. It was an extremely spacious room, designed for wheelchair access. Even the shower had a ramp (pretty cool). Either way, the place was busy and packed like smoked clams in a tin can! The pool below me was busy as all get out, and people were coming and going... like me. Off for some shopping, parade activities, some local food and drinks, but more importantly... the Beach! Was able to sneak out and catch a beautiful sunset, as well. Gorgeous! There were some issues with the the faucets turning in the opposite direction for water temperature at the sinks, and it would be pretty nice if the Body Soap and Shampoo dispensers were labeled. They both looked identical... so who knows what I ended up using but at least it was clean! Other than that, some noisy tenants above me but whatever... hotel can't control kids jumping up and down and off the beds. At the end of a day, was able to chill after some much needed ocean therapy. All in all, a good experience for something so last minute. Thank you and as always, Enjoy & Happy Ocean Therapy!

Probably the BEST motel I've ever stayed at!…read more Came for a little getaway for my bf's bday. This place was recommended by my neighbors that now reside in Ocean Shores (which is about a 20-30 min drive from this motel!) The outside has been renovated to include additional rooms. It doesn't look like much from the outside but my oh my, it sure is a nice view of the simplicity of the beach! The room is modern, spacious. When we first walked in, you hear calm chill music, along with candles that light up automatically (turn off in the morning, battery operated). They had a huge Costco blanket meant for the king bed which was SO nice and cozy! The shower is nice! LOVED the papaya soap!!! Such a nice scent. They also provided a couple of makeup wipes as well. When you have the patio door open, you can hear the waves and calmness of the beach! Lots of cars parked to clam dig...and you can drive on the beach too! (There are signs!) Lastly, the staff that work there are SO amazing! I've never had service like that. They provided recommendations of where to go for gooood chowder haha. Both Thomas and Frank, and I believe Katie, were just friendly, and hospitable. Thomas actually refunded my money for the third night since they were running a special on purchasing 2 nights, third night was free! We will definitely come back!

The breakfast was bland and had very few options. We also noticed that the employees seemed to constantly watch and stare at customers, which made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable. On top of that, our room had a strange smell that made the stay less enjoyable. There were also several issues with the room itself. The TV repeatedly glitched, making it difficult to watch anything. The toilet stopped working in the middle of our stay, which was very inconvenient. The room also only had one nightstand, making it difficult for two people to have a place to charge their phones or keep drinks nearby. Overall, there were several issues that made the stay disappointing, especially considering what we had originally booked and paid for. I expected a much better experience and would hope the hotel addresses these concerns for future guests.
