You can tell how much the owners care about each person's stay by the attention to those fine details such as the high-tech dog wash, excellent bathhouse, the flowers, the bird feeders, and houses throughout. The camp hosts are all wonderful you can tell they want each person to enjoy their stay and go above and beyond.

We arrived after 730pm on Friday and started until Sunday morning. We were ALL sad to break camp to go home we had sure T18 and it was close to bathroom, porta potty and trail to beach. Very quiet for the most part. People in cabins were a bit loud and sometimes dog baked and howled for about 2 hours after 11pm on Friday night. Saturday night no problems slept great!! Already have a spot booked for the end of August too go back for another weekend! If you're looking for a great place to tent camp, or RV, try tidelands.. We head a GREAT time and will be coming back as much as possible!

Quinault was a shot in the dark but we lucked out! Many people who RV have different expectations and what we love is seclusion. This place has that. With our large 40 ft 5th wheel and 4 slides set up next to the shore it becomes total serenity. There are not concrete pads and not much grass but you are literally on the beach! It's a bit inland in the bay but you still get to hear the ocean waves crashing. The sites are 30 and 20 amp with sewer. There is no cable and wifi but that is not typically what we are looking for. If you want to unplug and get away from civilization this place might be for you. If you don't need fancy amenities and can be pretty much self reliant with your rig then this place is for you. I don't need on site showers or on site bathrooms. However I think they have that still. Great lil place and Tom is a great guy to talk to that runs the place. I really like it here!

Start off we got to check in early on this 3 day weekend. Staff was wearing a mask & practicing…read moresocial distancing. No highway noise, just the roar of the beach 1/2 mile away. There is NO BEACH access, but it is just a couple miles down the road. Take a left from park drive to Cranberry beach road take you right out to beach. Few potholes but you can drive right onto beach. Follow locals tracks, stay out of soft sand. Afternoons people were there by the hundreds on Friday/Saturday night hunting razor clams. No fenced dog park but lots of walking trails and areas for them. You must pay for WiFi, but it was very reasonable & very worth it. There is no cable which is fine if you get the WiFi. Tengo Internet is the company you will be using. We paid $7.95 for 4 devices for 3 days. If you want to stream (TV) you will be calling Tengo to give them your units "Mac" number. Then everything was great. All sites were grass, a few muddy but ours was great. Small gas station 4 miles away will provide you with many of you needs. 30 amps only, because this an older park. There is no tent camping due to restrooms closed. That said we were told no showers or rest rooms & yet the guy next to me said he gets the code because he is a return renter. The full time RVs are up front providing them the privacy they deserve. Dogs are required to be on leash or penned most people followed the rules. If you had a group coming here would be a great idea, just book a row of sites toward the back. There are some very nice cabins to rent, I assume they get the code to restrooms. We would stay here again

The campground is clean, and that's where the positives end…read more Dogs are supposed to be kept on a leash, but during our stay this past week, management seemed to ignore that rule completely. There appeared to be a large family gathering, and the group was extremely loud throughout the day. They parked wherever they wanted, including in other guests' parking spaces, and allowed their dogs to run freely. Trash was left scattered around their campsite, making the area look neglected. The campground is already very tightly packed, so this behavior affected everyone nearby. To make matters worse, there is a long-term resident who regularly yells profanity at his children, and management does nothing about it. Throughout our stay, management was nowhere to be found when these issues occurred. We paid for a relaxing vacation, but instead experienced noise, disorder, and a lack of enforcement of the campground's own rules. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and a waste of money.

When you drive into the community you are welcomed by the sight of cute cottages nestled into a beach area with sidewalks. At the center of the community is already the vacation rentals building which has a warm welcoming area with helpful information and maps to the local entertainment options. Also now open is the Bistro and space for other businesses. You also have a nice grassy amphitheater area with some games such as bean bag toss and photo face stand ins for cute photos. There is also a play ground with equipment and a fire pit and sand volleyball nets. Coming soon will be a freshwater canal dock for water activities, although these were not open yet. There are walking trails to the Oyhut Bay wilderness area, and you are a close drive to the North Jetty, Damon Point and the Ocean Shores interpretive center. I can't wait to see this area grow in the future

Cons: - the whole downstairs area smelled faintly of wet dog. (We did not bring a dog.) - a few of the dishes weren't clean. They do ask guests to wash their own dishes before checkout, so I'm assuming that was on the previous guest, but it still would've been nice if they had double checked. - it was a bit dusty and there were a few cobwebs. Overall, don't expect a super fancy spa resort, but for the price and the ease of access, it was perfect. I would stay here again.

There are 8 of them in the lot but each one is its own entity. I stayed at one of them for 3 days and 2 nights and had a really good time! The place is clean and spacious with high ceilings and can comfortably house a couple + pets. There is a pet fee and no smoking is allowed on the premises. The place had all the amenities you could need for a little getaway including a: WiFi, decently stocked kitchen, fridge, stove, oven, cable/smart TV, board games, small washer, little private patio, and one parking spot. You can easily move things around the place, I did a ton of yoga in the living room. I loved that I didn't really need to drive anywhere and could just walk everywhere. Check in is super easy and there is a lockbox for you to access your keys. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs here are super steep and you have to use them to get to the bed. Definitely a hazard if you're not careful and trip. Overall I really enjoyed this little cottage and would recommend it for a couples getaway or a solo retreat!

Diane was a gem from the moment I called the resort to check for vacancy and during our check-in process. My partner and I read the history of the Ocean Spray prior to arriving and wow... we were so happy to support a family business and even more so after experiencing Diane's kind hospitality. Also, let's touch on the fact that the Ocean Spray is literally WALKING distance from the beach -- perfect for sunrises, sunsets, picnics on the beach etc etc. The location definitely makes for a perfect beach getaway. We stayed in cottage #3 with my doggo (a big plus!) and were pleasantly surprised to be in such cozy, homey, and adorable accommodations. The amenities were thoughtful, the cottage was impeccably clean, and we felt right at home. Thank you, Diane, for your pleasant hospitality and such a delightful stay.
