What can I say? The property is located right next to the ocean. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The host/owner is incredibly nice. They even have a really nice area for horses, but I've also seen llamas there. So they don't discriminate on what kind of four-legged animal you have that needs a place to hang out the bathroom facility are very clean and well stocked, with plenty of stalls and sinks. The tent camping site offer really nice tent pads with plenty of privacy. The price is a steal, you're not gonna get better prices for these kind of accommodations anywhere. Very family, friendly, dog friendly on a leash. Very conveniently located, I just can't say enough about this place. Go check it out.. read more

Stayed this summer with my cousin and step-daughter. We had a great time, and we really enjoyed this campground. The campsite we got was large and well maintained. The people running the campground were extremely friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms were clean. We were a little freaked out by a visiting raccoon, but we had a funny story to tell the next day. cabin review: you get what you pay for ! overall decent experience. man in the office was lovely, so friendly and accommodating ! bathrooms are clean and well-kept. cabin was very small, just a loft bed, a little table with a light, a mirror, and a bookcase/shelf thing. for $50 a night it's about what you'd expect so don't have any super high hopes. didn't find any pictures of the inside online anywhere, so i brought pillows and blankets just in case and i'm glad i did. would recommend bringing a camping mattress as well, as the mattress in the cabin is plasticky and thin enough for the springs to be very uncomfortable. pictures included for anyone looking to rent the cabin for a night :) read more

After a long drive, I needed shelter for one night so I could dig clams early the next morning. This wasn't my first overnighter for this purpose, but my first in an RV campground, and my stay at Screaming Eagle was the best. They run a clean, tight ship. Very quiet. Best of all, from my one-room cabin I could hear the ocean. And it was beautiful. read more

Rode our horses at the beach and wanted to check out the campground so we could eventually camp there. We waited at office to get a map and nobody came out. So we walked to horse corrals. Host or owner chased us down yelling at us that we can't ride our horses through the "horse campground". He told us we have to leave through the back trail. He was very rude. We will never be back there and he also seemed intoxicated. read more

I cannot express enough my gratitude to and recommendation of this campground. I drove out from Seattle with my Great Pyrenees to escape the danger level heat wave. I had a place to camp set up through a third party website. After a nearly four hour drive and another hour looking for the spot- it became apparent I was a victim of a strange scam. It was going to be dark soon, a Saturday night to boot. And everyone in the PNW was attempting to get out of the triple digit madness and heading to the coast. I was likely going to find myself in the parking lot of the Aberdeen Walmart trying to sleep in my car with my dog, where it was still to be in the 80s at night. At a recommendation of another kind stranger at a nearby RV spot, I drove up to Eagle, past the sign saying "campground full" and walked into the office nearly in tears. Now let me tell you, I am not and have never been a damsel in distress. I handle business and figure things out, a true independent woman. The folks here were SO KIND. Not only were able to find me a place to camp (somehow), this place is an absolute gem. It's clean, it's walking distance to the beach, it's dog friendly and there are bathrooms with showers. There are tent and RV sites and the price is fantastic. There is a cute little store and the campsites have fire pits. I will be forever indebted to the folks who own and work here. They helped me when I really needed it. And they wouldn't even take a tip. During these times of uncertainty, it sometimes feels like there isn't a lot of kindness floating around. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!! I can't wait to come back. read more

Looks like all the lots got some new gravel (Mar 2020), nice deep lots with room to run and play. Kid and pet friendly, nice community feel. Free wifi (able to stream 4 devices no problem), electric/ water hookup with spot rental. Nice friendly service from the office/ store, all the basics you need including lots of firewood. $10 for a wheelbarrow full. A small convenance store is only 5 min walk, full of all the fixings (beer/ ice cream). The beach is also a short walk (about 10 min) or drive onto the beach for a day of play and fun! We will be back, great spot and experience! read more

Really nice place, small, quiet (when we were there), great owner/ manager Nicely maintained, 30amp electric (really that is all that is needed at the coast). Only negative is if you're staying longer than a few days you have to go to dump station as sites have no sewer hook up. Rates are reasonable (cash / no cards) read more

Check in time is 2:30pm check out 12pm. We arrived around 9pm & were welcomed to a secluded area with a fire pit & picnic table. We stayed in 22C very private area!! I was thrilled to have this spot because it was covered by trees. The rain started in the night & didn't stop until afternoon it barely got us thanks to the trees. The owner was so friendly! There are horses near by on the short walk to the bathroom. Bathrooms with showers were clean with no smell, I appreciate that. I will be returning short walk to the beach for razor clam digging. Everything was so clean & there is a dumpster before you leave for an easy clean up. Love love love! read more

We camped at Screamin Eagle for the first time last year and it was wonderful. The campground was in a convenient location and our site was beautiful. The tent site we chose we had trees & privacy and was still spacious enough for 3 tents. It was also really fun for the kids to go and look at the horses that were staying in the corral while we were there. :) The owner was friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We've stayed at other campgrounds in the area before, and they simply do not compare. We want to go back to Screamin Eagle every time we camp at Ocean Shores! read more

These campgrounds are awesome and the owner is so friendly. We got there a couple of hours after check-in but it wasn't a problem at all. They don't take credit cards, so be ready to pay with cash or check. There are bathrooms and showers which is a nice option while camping. The site is a short 5-minute walk to the beach. Overall, the site lacks privacy, there are a few sites with more trees than others, but for most sites, you're going to be pretty close and open to your neighbors. If it's an empty weekend, they will likely offer to move your site for more privacy. read more

Stayed overnight in late May 2018. Since I was tent camping, the owner graciously set me up in a secluded site away from the trailers. Had a nice talk with the owner and his son about local things to do- they were quite knowledgeable and helpful. Good price, nice facilities only a block from the beach. Would definitely stay there again if in the area. read more

Stayed here with my boyfriend and we had the best time! It was absolutely gorgeous. The owner is so friendly and made us feel right at home. We had the group site all to our selves because of a mix up I requested a site that was already booked. It was beautiful. We are already planning on coming back with my sister and brother in law. Bathrooms were very clean and a super close walk from any of the sites. The beach is also super close and you don't have to walk through the dunes to get there. Really close to town but you feel like you're far out. read more

We had a blast at our first trip to Screamin eagle camp grounds. The grounds were grassy and well maintained. The bathrooms were very clean with free hot showers. It was very relaxing and only a few minute walk to the beach. We could hear the ocean from our camp site. The owner Richard was very nice, helpful and friendly. Loved his dog Sammy. The store offered lots of needs for camping and was very reasonably priced. We will be back along with our dog Molly. read more

While cheap, and not a long walk from the beach, this campground is not my most desired destination. There definitely aren't enough hookups for RV's/Trailers and there seems to be an abundance of undesirable people around. By that, I mean meth heads and rude folks. We won't be back. read more

My husband and I stayed at this campground last weekend and had a wonderful experience. The grounds were clean and quiet and very close to the beach. We didn't feel at all crowded and there are plenty of trees so you get a sense of privacy. The bathrooms were nice and clean which is rare at camp grounds so that was nice! I just returned home from a Friday to Sunday car club gathering and we stayed at Screamin Eagle. There were about 15-20 people and 10-15 cars. We had a couple of campsites at the back and found ample parking, soft and flat ground, a picnic table and fire ring at each site, and clean bathrooms and showers. The owner was always there and very willing to work with us on payment while we waited for a final headcount. Wheelbarrows full of firewood were constantly available and there was even hot coffee in the morning. I chatted with the owner for 5-10 minutes and he was super nice and definitely would go out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. 5stars!!! I would go back! ...just next time I hope we actually make it to the beach, lol. read more

This Rv park is the best! So close to the beach you can hear it at night. Super dog friendly. We walk our dogs around the park, Take them to the beach, it's Awesome! The owner, Richard is amazing. Very bright and open campground that has good drainage and enough wind to keep mosquitos away but not too much that it's bothersome. Friendly to Horses on the south end of the campground which is a neat experience that most campgrounds don't offer. Very friendly staff. Clean and affordable. I stayed at their tiny rustic cabin (good for a couple) and it was awesome. Their restrooms were clean and the grounds are well kept, by the owner, who lives there. Most of all, the price was very reasonable. The beach and a local community store was a walking distance. Peaceful and quiet. Just a tip, reserve early. Very nice area with on site owner. Clean bathrooms, clean showers etc. A few essentials for sale in office. Plenty of room for larger motorhomes. Only 1 dump station by bathroom. Found out he can not put in dumps at sites due to regulations from city of being between green area with creek and ocean. He was trying to get it approved but to no avail. Close walk to beach. All that being said we had a " HUGE " problem with two large barking dogs. Almost got into a fight with the drunk who thought it was no big deal..... after the dogs were barking non stop all day at the beach. Talked to Richard about it and he said he normally kicks people like that out.....but they were allowed to stay for some reason, said they were on do not reserve list for the future. Another camper had the same problem with him and also almost came to blows. IF YOU HAVE BARKING YAPPY DOGS AND THINK IT IS OK FOR THEM TO BARK AND BOTHER EVERYBODY....... IT IS NOT! "" ( 99% of the time it is small yappy dogs. ) I love dogs and also own a large dog which I have not been lazy in training and does not bother anyone. We will be back and try again as it is a nice place to go. read more

The family and I camped this last week with our horses! It was a very clean well-kept campgrounds. Bonus the bathrooms were always in great shape. Richard the owner was great to work with from the time I made the reservations until the time we left. The campground was very bright, open and very horse friendly. The beach was close and not a lot of people. Our group had such a great time that we have already planned two trips next year with our animals! Thank you again Richard for a great time!
