Great experience . $50 cash for power and water, free dump station. WiFi , 1/2 mile walk to the beach.

view of the cabin from the back wall

cabin review: you get what you pay for ! overall decent experience. man in the office was lovely, so friendly and accommodating ! bathrooms are clean and well-kept. cabin was very small, just a loft bed, a little table with a light, a mirror, and a bookcase/shelf thing. for $50 a night it's about what you'd expect so don't have any super high hopes. didn't find any pictures of the inside online anywhere, so i brought pillows and blankets just in case and i'm glad i did. would recommend bringing a camping mattress as well, as the mattress in the cabin is plasticky and thin enough for the springs to be very uncomfortable. pictures included for anyone looking to rent the cabin for a night :)

Looks like all the lots got some new gravel (Mar 2020), nice deep lots with room to run and play. Kid and pet friendly, nice community feel. Free wifi (able to stream 4 devices no problem), electric/ water hookup with spot rental. Nice friendly service from the office/ store, all the basics you need including lots of firewood. $10 for a wheelbarrow full. A small convenance store is only 5 min walk, full of all the fixings (beer/ ice cream). The beach is also a short walk (about 10 min) or drive onto the beach for a day of play and fun! We will be back, great spot and experience!

Perfect campsite along the creek. So gorgeous.

We camped at Screamin Eagle for the first time last year and it was wonderful. The campground was in a convenient location and our site was beautiful. The tent site we chose we had trees & privacy and was still spacious enough for 3 tents. It was also really fun for the kids to go and look at the horses that were staying in the corral while we were there. :) The owner was friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We've stayed at other campgrounds in the area before, and they simply do not compare. We want to go back to Screamin Eagle every time we camp at Ocean Shores!

Great campground! Richard was super accommodating and easy to work with. Campground was nice and clean, and quiet! It was within walking distance to the beach too. Bathrooms were clean. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come to Ocean City.

Great park! Came here to camp for the weekend - stayed at the campground with some friends. Great…read morecamp site with lots of trees great for coverage from morning sun. Different set up for some sites since there's nothing between to separate out the sites. There's an easy to follow path to get to the beach we went to a couple times. LOTS of beach to wander on. Be aware of people driving around if you have your pups.

Stayed on Loop 4 at 178. Big mistake. In all the years we've gone camping I've never experienced so…read moremany mosquito and insect bites. It was nearly impossible to go outside of our RV without being constantly attacked and bitten. Our legs were covered with bites that made our 3 nights stay very uncomfortable. We therefore opted to stay on the beach for the majority of the day then retreat much later to eat and sleep in our RV. After speaking with other campers, it became obvious that 178 was the worst for insect bites. Most sites didn't have as a severe problems as we did. Should we ever visit again, we will avoid 178 at all cost... Otherwise, Ocean Shores is a very sleepy community. Our best memories were hunting down 3 Garage Sales and meeting some great residents. Restaurant prices are very high as we weren't' going to pay $37 for a pizza or $34 for meager Fish & Chips (takeout)! The driving beach adjacent to the town was very crowded but once you go north of the Casino, it became more spread out and enjoyable. My advice? Go north my son, go north, and try and avoid the town entirely (unless you have kids)!
