You can tell how much the owners care about each person's stay by the attention to those fine details such as the high-tech dog wash, excellent bathhouse, the flowers, the bird feeders, and houses throughout. The camp hosts are all wonderful you can tell they want each person to enjoy their stay and go above and beyond.

We arrived after 730pm on Friday and started until Sunday morning. We were ALL sad to break camp to go home we had sure T18 and it was close to bathroom, porta potty and trail to beach. Very quiet for the most part. People in cabins were a bit loud and sometimes dog baked and howled for about 2 hours after 11pm on Friday night. Saturday night no problems slept great!! Already have a spot booked for the end of August too go back for another weekend! If you're looking for a great place to tent camp, or RV, try tidelands.. We head a GREAT time and will be coming back as much as possible!

It was nearly impossible to go outside of our RV without being constantly attacked and bitten. Our legs were covered with bites that made our 3 nights stay very uncomfortable. We therefore opted to stay on the beach for the majority of the day then retreat much later to eat and sleep in our RV. After speaking with other campers, it became obvious that 178 was the worst for insect bites. Most sites didn't have as a severe problems as we did. Should we ever visit again, we will avoid 178 at all cost... Otherwise, Ocean Shores is a very sleepy community. Our best memories were hunting down 3 Garage Sales and meeting some great residents. Restaurant prices are very high as we weren't' going to pay $37 for a pizza or $34 for meager Fish & Chips (takeout)! The driving beach adjacent to the town was very crowded but once you go north of the Casino, it became more spread out and enjoyable. My advice? Go north my son, go north, and try and avoid the town entirely (unless you have kids)!

It kept taking me to construction areas and then a neighborhood area. I was looking forward to this park because of the driftwood from the pictures. Wonderful all around! Only downside is mosquitoes, but that is the case at pretty much all of these campsites near streams/rivers emptying into the ocean.
