We stayed in the Charlotte its on the 3rd floor and has great views of the ocean. Really well equipped bathroom kitchen etc. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Super quiet. 1st and 2nd floor don't have ocean views as the website says. It's 35 stairs to the top (3rd floor) .Great comfortable furniture. Lots of games to play. A nice classy place. We stayed at the Judith Ann Inn in the Savannah unit over Labor Day 2022 weekend. The reason we're posting a review here, is that our emails concerning the condition of the unit have gotten no response of any type of action from Vacasa, except for the ever-popular "we have an abundance of emails" excuse for why no reviews have been posted since November 2021 for the Savannah. https://www.vacasa.com/unit/23013?checkIn=10-29-2022&checkOut=10-31-2022 At first glance upon arriving, we thought the unit was cute, and seemed in order, although dated. The floor plan was good, and we loved the openness of the kitchen and living room areas. Cleanliness: It was superficially cleaned. My husband found hair in the shower and removed it before I found it. Ew. The bathroom floor felt tacky, like they used Spic'n'Span to clean it, and the shower curtain had mold stains. Out of 7 window blinds, 6 were broken. Some were taped together with clear packing tape...some were missing half or whole slats. There is no blind on the front door, which does have a beautiful oval window-- but it offers zero privacy, as it looks straight into the living spaces-- so forget walking around naked in there. MDF trim/moulding in the entry and bathroom, in particular, had water damage and peeling paint. This is obviously the result of years of deferred maintenance. Some repair work has been poorly done on the sheetrock surrounding the shower neck extension. But hey, at least they fixed it. The bi-fold doors for the utility/washer/dryer closet were off and leaning inside against the wall like a drunken sailor. Not that I know what a drunken sailor leans like. The heater vents were dirty with dust/grime/mold. You can't miss it...but you can ignore it, if you're a lazy cleaner. The Living Room: The cozy over-stuffed sofa pictured on the website was actually two cheap futons that were so awful, we couldn't even relax on them-- an hour into a movie we gave up trying to get comfortable, as our backs were giving out. In fact, the whole weekend, we either sat at the breakfast bar or at the little dinette set, NOT relaxing. One of the wing chairs had tears/threadbare areas on it and one wing reclined...although this wasn't a recliner. There's a very nice-of-their-parents-to-donate-furniture-for-their-first-home feeling going on here. Thinking this is the original carpet. You can tell its age by the number of stains....sort of like the rings on a tree. The Hot Tub: A triangular tub with jets only in one corner...where you step into the tub. Good times. The Kitchen: The best thing about this place. Full size kitchen, lots of cabinets, with dishes, utensils, and cookware. I think they must've done a remodel on the kitchen at some point and forgot about the rest of the house. There is one cracked tile by the threshold by the carpet. Overall, I give the kitchen 4 stars. The View: C'mon. We know there's a beach out there (because we could hear it)...it's somewhere beyond the trees/bushes that were the same height as the balcony of our unit (which by the way, is actually a 2nd story unit, because this is actually a 3-story modular building). The marketing for this place is misleading-- it is by no stretch of the imagination "ocean front." The Bedroom: Buckle up, Kids. This is the WORST. Let's start with the two luggage racks...we literally burst out laughing. If you put two hillbillies' smiles together, they'd have more teeth than these luggage racks had straps. Let's talk about bedding. We're not Princess-and-the-Pea sensitive type of people...but these sheets were so old, pilled up, and rough, we couldn't sleep in them. The coup de gras was when we stripped the bed before leaving. We didn't realize the instructions said to leave them until after we'd already done it, and now we know why. There was no mattress cover between the sheet and mattress. The mattress had a HUGE-- I mean the size of an adult curled in a fetal position-- urine stain and a small blood stain. The pillows had stains-- drool, whatever. The comforter was ripped. The chair had stains-- don't want to know. We did call and ask them to send someone over to hose off the entry steps and front decks where the seagulls had left ginormous welcoming splatterings, which was mostly taken care of. Apparently, we used up our one phone-a-friend call on the bird poop. Bottom line...protect your bottom line and go a couple of more blocks to the Shilo, or check out Airbnb for some other great rentals in the Ocean Shores area. read more

We stayed in the Marietta #203 in June 2021 for our birthday celebration. It was nice to be able to see the ocean from our top floor spot. While the room was dated, it was comfortable and had what we needed. It would have been nice to have internet television so we could stream something new and interseting, instead of watching old movies and sitcoms. We couldn't get the fireplace to work, which seems to be an ongoing problem as multiple guests have voiced the same thing. The jacuzzi tub worked great and the other amenties were fine. We did report a problem with the toilet during our stay, which was promptly fixed. read more

My husband and I have stayed here for the 3rd time. It is our annual anniversary trip.This was the worst stay ever. The unit was pretty clean. We had a good view.However, that first night we noticed that the shower doors were very hard to open. It was off the track.They furnished one washcloth for the two of us for 4 nights. Lots of bath towels and hand towels!!When we contacted them about it we were told to check drawers and the closet. We did so and when we contacted them to tell them there weren't any, we were told that the customer is responsible for any items not provided..Thats not all. We washed the towels so we could reuse them. But wait, there's more!!. One garbage bag? We used the grocery bags and we had to carry the garbage outside to the dumpster using the store bags to empty all our garbage. We were to take the linens off the bed before we leave. The last night of our stay we decided to use the jacuzzi. We started to notice some filth coming out from the jets. We were going to do a late checkout but decided against it. So happy to be home. I read a review from two years ago about those same doors in the same unit.( The Richmond)from 2 years ago. So what do the cleaning staff have to do if we have to do all these things? I don't mind cleaning behind ourselves but this is ridiculous!! The price has gone up but we have to do all the work. read more

We stayed over this last weekend. I gave it three stars for the following pros and cons: PROS: Beautiful building and rooms Full kitchen (mostly stocked) Non smoking Hot tub in living room (also in cons) Easy check in Fireplace Comfortable and home feeling. Very large and lots of room. CONS: Dirty - As you can see in the pictures I was left with dirty sheets (obviously left after they stripped and remade the bed). I was immediately turned off and upset that during COVID they left another person's sheets in my room. Also in the pictures, there were dirty dishes left in the dish washer. Again NOT Happy about that at all. Hot Tub - The hot tubs lack of hot water. They left a note saying to help fill it up dont run anything and also make sure you turn on the cold to help fill the tub. Well I did what they said and it was filled about 1/4 of the way before the water got cold. It was the main reason I booked so I got creative and used the pans to boil hot water to make up the difference. The kitchen was stocked - however, again dirty. We had to wash the pots and pans and the flat grill before use as it was obvious that they had been used and not cleaned prior to being put it away. Their was a crock pot and kettle, both broken. They had about 6 pepper shakers but no salt. Thin Walls! - the children next to us where screaming and running around the first night. The people above us were having a party and we heard it all. Hard Bed - the bed is hard memory foam. I mean hard, my husband loved it, but it about killed me. Upkeep - while they have attempted to make everything modern, there are certainly alot of details that were missed. Trim. Paint, cracks, shower doors etc. When you update some things but leave others it is very noticeable. Update it all if your going to remodel. This wasn't meant to be a bad review. It is a nice place but your expectations should be adjusted. If you go in with an open mind you'll be pleased, but if your expecting perfection you'll be very unhappy. If it wasn't so Dirty it would have recieved 4 stars (honestly almost gave it a 2 because i was so disappointed in the house keeping or lack of especially during the pandemic). read more

I stayed at the JAI years and years ago and thought it would be the perfect place for a romantic night away. Boy, was I right. We stayed upstairs in the Lexington. It's basically a mini apartment. The TV in the bedroom was large, but the living room TV is ginormous. They really take pride in making the rooms elegant, everything from the window treatments to the robes hanging next to the jacuzzi. This unit also had a private balcony and a wonderful view of the ocean. The attached picture was taken the morning right before we left. The inn was very quiet and it was as if we were the only visitors there. I would highly recommend this inn. read more

Came here for our 33rd wedding anniversary. Stayed in the Richmond room. View is spectacular. My only complaint is there was no kleenex and no sponges dishcloth to do your dishes, couch definitely needs to be replaced, saggy and uncomfortable, there are no instructions for the DVD player, thank goodness my husband is a techie guy, he figured it out, other than those few things we enjoyed our stay. Since covid everything and I mean everything has gone to the dogs, all the restaurants in ocean shores are absolutely awful. Makes me sad. read more

Wow. Let me say it again, Wow! First, the people that help run this place, Amy is just outstanding, really made us feel at home and completely comfortable. She even brought up a baby crib when we forgot to pack ours. We stayed in the Bridal suite, no rooms to either side or on top of us. Huge room, with a large jet tub overlooking the Ocean. A large flatscreen HDTV sat above the fireplace, all controlled by remote control that controlled the music/dvd/digital music all through out the house. Bose equipment and soundsystems as well. The bedroom had a large king sized bed, with another flatscreen mounted above the two sliding doors. Terry cloth robes near the jettub, and bath and body works lotions/soaps in the bathroom made the whole atmosphere feel great. Will be back! read more

We reserved a unit for the nights of 26 and 27 February for my husband's 89th birthday. There is no check-in, just an email with instructions for getting past the lock box. Once we got past that and managed to enter the unit and get our luggage unloaded, we found the unit to be everything we had hoped. Until... we attempted to fill the jetted tub. = The jetted tub was our primary reason for choosing the Judith Ann. We ran out of hot water with the tub maybe a fourth of the way full. We waited to let the water heater get hot again, and added to what was already in the tub. It took another try or two before success. We phoned the manager and her response was: "Oh, well the water heater doesn't hold enough water to fill the tub." Why advertise a jetted tub if you can't fill it?? She promised us a refund. We have only received promises, promises since then and "we'll check into it" responses. Almost two months have passed. --- In response to your comments, you have my name and my phone number and email. Melody Sword. You have been promising to contact me for almost 2 months. BEWARE 1 star if there was zero stars that's what I would choose. My boyfriend rented the Abilene room 104 for my birthday surprise weekend that turned into a nightmare. Pictures here justifies how bad this rental condo is from the surface and outside it looked beautiful but that changed really fast! I was sold an ocean front and when I asked them what that meant they could not explain. Look at the pictures with all of the trees blocking the view that is why they could not explain. It was a WEED FRONT view! We could not even see the ocean. The patio door does not lock!!!We ended up packing our valuables every time we went out.we did not get much sleep because it was a safety issue! So needless to say what was the high point in renting this condo was the hot tub. I was super excited to use the hot tub but hundreds of bugs came out of jets when we turned it on! See the pictures! All of these concerns were addressed on day 1 of vacation! Sad to say nothing was done, they didn't even offer compensation or move us to another room. Obviously management does not care about our health, safety or security and still it has been since May 6, 2022 and no one has contacted us yet. Even on check out we spoke to Lindzie Theurer Local Operations Manager of Vacasa rentals and she assured us they would be doing a follow up and nothing yet! The highlight of our stay was my boyfriend had to stick his hands in the toilet to stop it from running because the toilet flusher was broken. Hair dryer and vents were full of dust! Patio deck leaks water from roof! You can't even sit out there. Sofa chair smells, stained, you sink in! Donation stores and thrift stores won't even accept this sofa chair! Just Filty! Broken blinds! There are other post similiar to ours on yelp from 10 months ago or longer which issues that Vacasa rentals are aware of that has not been fixed. My Husband and I have chosen Judith Ann Inn as our place to stay in Ocean Shores for many years now, and have always had such an amazing experience. Well, until this past weekend that is! It is evident that they must have new management. We were quite disappointed before we even arrived in that when my Husband asked to reserve the Bridal Suite he was told that the owner didn't want it rented out as there "may be" something wrong with the jacuzzi. He was told that the only room available for the two nights would be the Abilene. We had stayed in the Abilene several years ago, so he went ahead with reserving it through the manager. When we arrived Saturday afternoon, the "vacancy" sign was out so he asked again if there were other rooms available and was told no, that she had forgotten to post the "no vacancy" sign. I myself thought it odd that it appeared only 4 rooms were being used that might and only as many cars in the parking lot. It was pretty evident the entire inn wasn't booked. The second night there were only 3 rooms being used .... so why had we been told there were no other rooms available but the Abilene ( which is the most dated suite in the Inn)? The room overall was clean with the exception of mildew/ pink mold being on the bottom of the shower curtain and the towels smelling old. The DVD player kept cutting off on us so we gave up on watching the end of our movie. There was only one travel sized bath gel, one shampoo and one conditioner for the two of us to use the whole weekend. The bath sink had no vanity so made putting on makeup or using a curling iron challenging. Bath really needs a makeover or a small cabinet by the sink. The mattress needs replaced. It has a topper but still isn't anywhere near as comfy as the New Orleans Suite. As for the main room, the jacuzzi was terribly loud and the robes were anything but soft and fluffy. In fact, they are the same ones we had in the Abilene all those years ago on our first ever visit to the JAI. The kitchen was well stocked but the dishwasher was the loudest I've ever heard! Needless to say, the place has really run down since we stayed in the spring! Lacking in the attention to detail we've come so accustomed to in all of our previous stays! read more

Just beyond the kitchen the spacious living room, warmed by a gas fi replace held the piece de resistance: an elevated jetted tub that looks out to the dunes and the ocean. Even though the weather cooperated beautifully enough for a long stroll on the beach and through town, the inn would be a romantic getaway even in the coldest, stormiest of winter. Positioned at the edge of town, just a quick walk from the majesty of the ocean, Judith Ann Inn offers privacy and convenience. An outstanding place to stay in Ocean Shores. The rooms are actually spacious ocean view homes away from home. The place was clean and inviting and had a decent stock of cookware (which comes in handy given the quality of restaurants in Ocean Shores). The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The deck was a very serene place to spend some quiet time and enjoy the Ocean, the breeze and the relative silence. The rooms have a very good air to them thanks to the high ceilings and the fans. However, It is the hot tubs for 2 are the special attraction and is the reason I will definitely come back for more. read more

Me and my wife stayed here for 3 nights in January and we had great weather !(room 202) I loved hearing the frogs and ocean at night. The view was awesome the full kitchen was nice ,the pull out bed for our daughter was fine (not suitable for adults) Over all we very satisfied with our stay but I wanna mention a few things that could have been better . The decor- im pretty sure it was designed by someones grandmother in the 70s lol ! Get rid of the dusty plastic flowers on the table and maybe the others too. The robes - Smelled like they had been in a box for a decade,stained and rough to the touch we did not even bother to try them on. The towels- old and tattered ,faded and not appealing to look at. The spares in the closet were way nicer. The kitchen- the front big burner was non operable. The toaster was not the best and the knob kept falling off. The bathroom-the toilet rocked when you sat on it. The couch- this thing needs to be replaced its beyond uncomfortable for sitting/ sleeping and was very discolored and stained. The bed-(upgrade the mattress to foam please) The mattress is very firm and springy every time one of us moved it was like being on a carnival ride neither one of us got a very good nights sleep. Also the bed room is right next to the main walk way(nothing you can do about thatI guess) and we like the window open a crack for fresh air and the plastic walk ways are very noisy.Also a couple light bulbs were burnt out in various places . We run a bed and breakfast in Seattle so im sure im being very knit picky about a lot of these things but its lists like this that we pride ourselves in taking care of . The cost of the few things we did find wrong would be nominal for what you would get back in customer feed back. I do wanna mention that the unit was clean and we appreciate that as we take great pride in cleaning our units. OVERALL - We had a great time in Ocean shores building sand castles, driving on the beach (did a few doughnuts in the sand) Flying kites,bird watching ! If I could give this place a lower rating I would. I brought my mom here for her birthday this year and was so terribly disappointed. For starters check in is 4pm which is incredibly late and check out is 10 am there are 10 rooms on the property how does it take 6 hours to clean the ones that are actively being rented. Secondly we got here at exactly 4pm and the cleaning lady just started cleaning our room. Third, the place on the inside was disgusting especially the couch, there are stains on the couch and when we sat down my back got wet come to find out it was soaked in Lysol or some kind of cleaning supplies. see photos attached. We stayed in the Abilene room the blankets smelled like animal, It is fine that the place takes animals I'm an animal lover but it doesn't take much to wash the linen and keep things clean. The jacuzzi well the water was nice and hot had no issues there HOWEVER the jacuzzi bubbles are broken the button doesn't turn them on to stay on, also if you can get the jacuzzi to stay on it is so extremely loud. There were no robes hanging up or in the room at all which was advertised. The carpet is bleach stained in the bedroom, and the blinds on the patio doors are busted. See pictures below with as much as this place is a night this room needs some upgrades badly. Safety feature there is one smoke detector in the bedroom and that's it. None anywhere else. I contacted management and they seem to not care. UPGRADE YOUR PLACE IF YOU'RE GOING TO RENT IT OUT! 300 dollars a night. read more

My partner and I and our dog spent two nights at Judith Ann Inn. We were very happy with the clean quiet place that we could take our dog too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lower unit and were fine with it. Yes - the view would be better from the upper units but not really that much for us. The unit was very spacious with a nice deck. We saw a coyote so I would be concerned about bringing small dogs. I would recommend this place and will return again. read more

I'm glad that we went with a second floor room because I'm sure that the view was a lot better than the view from the first floor. We stayed here for two nights for our beach-side elopement. The room was beautiful with gorgeous views, and the bathtub is a nice touch. Bed was fairly comfortable. Lots of seating which is nice if you have a group. Extremely convenient to have a kitchen. What we loved: - Large jacuzzi tub in the living room. - Reasonably sized TV, good for lounging as a group. - Gas fireplace. - Balcony with beautiful view of the ocean. (We stayed in the "Marietta".) A few things that could be improved: - Bring your own pillow. These pillows were awful. - They only gave us decaf for the coffee maker, which was a bit disappointing. Ocean Beach Roasters is nearby and delicious if you wind up needing coffee. - Jets in the tub were a bit weirdly placed and very loud. read more

There wasn't suppose to be any kids. From when we checked in to 1:30am the people next to us let two young kids run back and forth the whole time. we knocked and asked them to quiet down. they sent their small child to the door again running. That didn't work. We called and complained two times nothing was done to stop these kids. So we had zero sleep. The property manager was supposed to call us that never happened. The basket of dried flowers in front of hot tub was wet. The bathrobes were wet. The frame of the bed was bigger than the mattress by a ton. The blinds were broken and literally taped back together. There was a disgusting stain on a chair in the bedroom. Yes by all means use your imagination with that one. Gross. They charge a 70 dollar cleaning fee but yes we had to put everything in the washer and start it. Take out all garbage and do the dishes. I have never been so livid in my life. If I don't hear from that property manager by the time I get home I am suing in small claims court. Disguste. read more

We decided to come here for my husband's birthday and really glad we did! We really enjoyed this place a lot. We stayed in the Lexington suite, 201 on the upper floor and it was amazing!!! I loved it a lot. It was spacious with high ceilings, romantic and relaxing. The jetted tub was very cool and the whole room was filled with small cute details! I wish we would have known how great this place was, we would have stayed here on other trips we've taken to Ocean Shores! They do have a FULL kitchen stocked with pots pans, dishes, etc, so bring your own food! I really wish we would have! The upper floor is amazing and where you really want to be! The view is great and very relaxing. The weather in December is pretty terrible, but it's so nice to soak in the tub and have the window a bit open to feel the breeze! Super relaxing!!! The only minor downside was it looks like they shut off the hot water at a certain time, so our early morning last minute hot tub experience didn't happen and there was also no one manning the front desk (it's small ownership i guess), so we were left to kind of tend to our own needs. After our stay, they also charged our card twice on accident as well, but a quick phone call cleared it up. We definitely will be coming back. We loved the room so much!!!!! read more

Great sitting. Convenient to restaurants and beach area. Very quiet, nice view and can see the waves roll onto the beach. Extra nice that they staff allows for a pleasant stay providing extra linen, towels, etc. so no need for daily maid service. read more

Charleston room 105 first floor underneath a loud unit. This place is ok if you have never stayed at a nicer place before. The whole building seems to be made of a cheap plastic vinyl material that is so squeaky you can hear every foot step from the neighbors upstairs. In fact you can hear everything they do and it seems our upstairs neighbors are constantly waking back and forth and back and forth all day all night. Not peaceful at all. The windows are so filthy you can't even see the view from the jacuzzi or the couch for that matter. I actually saw another quest outside on the very non private decks washing his own windows ! There are also no large pots for cooking noodles. We had to use 2 tiny baby pots for cooking . This place is not worth almost 200$ a night we paid for. If you want to relax and not have to be awoken by loud neighbors bc there is no soundproofing then go ahead and waste your money! read more

By far some of the best accommodations in Ocean Shores. I really love the layouts of the rooms. The jetted tub is also a perfect place to relax and watch the waves. It is also very romantic. The beds are very comfortable as well. read more

This place looks like a solid old mansion but don't be fooled. It is a12 years old flimsy exterior made of plastic vinyl. Yes, literally plastic. It's already falling apart on the outside and has very thin floors. i.e. it's very noisy between floors. In the morning we awoke to the sound of a very very loud vacuum cleaner cleaning the floor above us. I stayed in the Charleston suite 105 supposedly on the ground floor, but it was actually up a flight of plastic stairs and had a balcony that was 8 feet in the air. Despite that, there was no view of the ocean because of all the brush that had grown so tall between the beach and the inn. The room was quite nice, basically a condo for two with a nice comfy king sized bed. The TV was a very large and bright flat screen with basic cable and a dvd player. The tv swiveled easily towards the hot tub for two in the corner of the living room which was nice but they don't let you use real candles and there was no mood lighting in this room except for some dim electric candles. They have a nice gas fireplace but it's controlled by a turn-knob timer that constantly ticks as a time bomb very loudly and is super annoying to have to listen to while you are trying to take a relaxing bath or just have a romantic evening. It's ridiculous. There is no visible path to the beach and I had others there ask me "how do you get to the beach?" I had no idea since it was never explained to us but we figured out as we left by looking at google satellite view that you can drive right onto the beach by driving down the street to the north about 100 yards to a road that literally dead-ends at the ocean, which is so fun. And I mean you can literally drive right into the ocean and nobody would stop you. It's super cool. But be aware that if you pick up a rock or a sea shell and then toss it away from you that you will be completely attacked by overzealous seagulls. Not fun. Another big problem was nobody ever gave us directions on how to check in, not on the phone or in email confirmation. There is nobody at any desk after 5 and we never got any information in how to get our key. A note was left taped onto the office door with our mispelled name on it and a number to call, the same number I had been trying to call all night to find out what was going on and still nobody answered. After about 15 min we decided to sleep in the car and then I thought I'd try once more and this time for some reason someone answered to give us the code for the box that was on the door that had our key in. The problem was this box was practically pandora's box, it was incredibly hard to open. Eventually they came down and helped us get it. Turns out they were on the premises the whole time, in the room next door to our suite. We almost slept in our car and they were chilling in the room next door not answering the phone that they told us to call knowing we hadn't got there yet??? We were so confused why they didn't call us. The place we stayed the night before up north, Lost Mountain Lodge, had been incredibly helpful and called us more then once to be sure we knew how to get there and how to get in after hours, but Judith Ann Inn left us hanging big time. Not cool. All in all it was a pleasant stay after those issues except for the loud vacuum above us in the morning. That was super annoying. We are paying 200 bucks to sleep in and relax in our own place and we hear this loud vacuum in the morning. Wow. The walls seem to be paper thin, like I said it was made very cheaply 12 years ago, slapped together, but cosmetically from the inside it looks quite nice, but walking up the stairs you can tell immediately how poor the construction is as it is a hollow plastic sound and you can see how it's falling apart already on the exterior and has a crappy garbage can over an exposed outlet in the floor to keep people from tripping on it. Oh, and they wrote us up as staying two nights instead of one, so the next morning I had to go down and explain that before I left and they happily changed that for me which was cool. I also had to give them my credit card info again because they said it was no longer in their system for reasons they didn't understand. Also they had to print out our receipt twice because for some reason someone hadn't "reset the day" so it still said I owed a days stay on my receipt even after I gave them my credit card again and they printed out the receipt, so I waited for that to get fixed as well and I got a new receipt. It seemed that nothing was working very smoothly here but at least it was clean and fresh and comfy and super close to the ocean, despite all the complaints above it was a fairly nice stay but I'd still not recommend it. read more

Wow! Every room at Judith Ann Inn is a condo with a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, closets, and a nice deck with paths leading to the ocean. I live in downtown Seattle, and I'm pretty sure my room at Judith Ann was as big or bigger than my place in the city! The staff was VERY accommodating, taking care of 2 special requests for me with a smile. For only $225, I booked a night at the bridal suite, and it was worth every penny. Seeing as to how there is a serious lack of hotels above 2.5 stars in ghetto ocean shores, this is definitely the place to stay. It's also one of the first hotels on the street when you enter Ocean Shores, and it's close to the shops on Point Brown Ave. This is not much of a walking town, but from this hotel you could walk to nearby establishments. read more

Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms.. Full kitchen . Beautiful ocean view , it's not in a walking distance of the beach so we had to drive a block to get to it. Not bad after all ! Jacuzzi and wifi in the room . What's unique is the different style of the rooms compared to other chained hotels. It makes you feel like you are home , Building itself appears older but it was built in 2002! So amenities are new. All rooms have wall speakers. There are no elevators or ramps to the second floor , only stairs so it could be challenging. something to consider I guess. Will stay here again! read more

The Charleston suite is the nicest place that I have ever stayed. We did not want to leave. These are condos that are leased out when the owners are not using them so they are all decorated differently. Now I want t own one! They are big and the Hot Tub by the ocean view window is quite nice. The 1st floor is elevated so it is more like a 2nd floor room but there is not much of an ocean view. This particular suite is one of the best decorated ones so we were happier with it than we would have been upstairs. read more

We have be going to the Judith Ann for over 5 years and have always enjoyed our stays. However, this past weekend we spent 2 days there and were very disappointed. Apparently since the last time we were here, it is under new management and unfortunately, is showing signs of neglect. There were so many things wrong: the fireplace did not work, there was a tear in the living room ceiling that needs repair, the bathroom and kitchen were not clean, there was a spot for a hair dryer, but no hair dryer to be found,a robe was missing from the hot tub area, the kitchen had very few cooking pots/pans, there was only one bedroom side table (there was an empty space where the other should be). And the toilet seat, my goodness, it needs replacing, the enamel is completely worn off in areas exposing the composite below, how can you clean this?- seriously for $20 you can replace it with something that can be cleaned properly. Outside, the exterior is unkempt. The stairs are dirty and missing parts, the handrail was wobbly and felt very unsafe, especially climbing 3 flights with baggage. There used to be a small baggage cart available to get your stuff to at least the first floor. Additionally, in the parking area, someone must have run over one of the decorative parking lot lights, as only a small portion was sticking up out of the concrete and simply covered with a pink plastic bag. Definitely a trip hazard in the dark. The new management company is extremely difficult to reach by phone and extremely frustrating to deal with for credits. Very sorry to see this happen to a nice place. The views are still spectacular and it is a very quiet place to relax. We really liked the old management and housekeeping, they were so helpful and nice, they would bring more towels, or loan a DVD, or just help with whatever you might need. We would love to come back to a refurbished Judith Ann with an onsite management presence. read more

This room exceeded our expectations except the jetted tub didn't work. Called management for assistance per the instructions in the room and never heard back. We had just finished a backpacking trip & had talked about the jetted tub for days. We decided to get this more expensive room for the jetted tub. Very dissappointed that we didn't get our money's worth and worse that we didn't get a call back. I also sent them an email the next day and never received a response. Rent a room at your own risk. If everything works it is pretty amazing. If something doesn't work then you're on your own. read more

My wife and I spent last weekend at Ocean Shores and stayed at Judith Ann Inn. Although it was a busy weekend at Ocean Shores, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Friendly staff, nice large rooms and pet friendly. What else can you ask for? Highly recommended. We will be back! read more

We spent two nights there on an unusually sunny January weekend. Very romantic setting - high ceilings, jacuzzi tub, wonderful gas fireplace with great flame (they aren't all that nice), well equipped kitchenette, full size refrig, and love songs on the radio when you walk in. Pretty quiet but the bedrooms are along the walkway so you can hear people come in and out. The hot tub wasn't oriented to face the water which was odd. Battery powered candles for safety work to set the mood just fine. We were further from the beach than unexpected and so we didn't get any ocean sound. It was super windy and cold, but sunny. There are a lot of steps to the second floor and we have dogs one elderly who had to be carried. So lots of trips up and down and had to get layered up each time - it was a pain, but not the hotel's fault. Nice potty area and very dog friendly hosts. The mattress in our suite was too firm and have my husband a lot of trouble. Each suite is owned separately so the outfitting is not consistent so ask. They thought of everything - lots of details taken care of and a binder has all the instructions for fire, tub, TV etc. The bath had little counter space for toiletries which was a poor plan. In general we prefer the more rocky coast up north so I am not sure how much appeal there is for us in Ocean Shores in general. There are plenty of decent restaurants and we enjoyed the Galway very much and Our Place for breakfast and even Homeport was decent. I think the Judith Ann price was very fair for what we got. For us it just wasn't the best fit with the dogs and cold. It was a 3.5 hr drive for us from N of Seattle and too long for a weekend and we even hit good traffic. read more

My wife and spent a couple nights at the Judith Ann Inn for our 30th anniversary. Being the middle November we expected rain and wind, we were not disappointed! The suite was very large. It had big master bedroom with a king size bed, giant tv and cable. A nice separate bath with walk in shower. A full kitchen with everything you need to cook meals, full fridge, toaster, microwave and even a blender. The living room had a gas fireplace, a 2 person jacuzzi tub in the corner. It was great to sit in the tub, watch the wind and rain out on the ocean. The Inn is at the north end of town, real close to our 2 favorite places to eat, The Home Port restaurant and Red Genie Pizza. Newer shops for souvenirs, kites, etc are also close. If you need a McDonalds soda, it's not too far either. If you want to stay in Ocean Shores, definitely check out The Judith Ann Inn, well worth it and is where we will stay when visiting Ocean Shores! read more

My wife and I were in need of a break from the teenagers, and a friend suggested the Judith Ann hotel in Ocean Shores. The room was spotless and had a wonderful view. We opened the door to our balcony and took in the fresh air. We bought food and cooked in the fully equipped kitchen, and didn't leave the suite. We have been going to Ocean Shores for a long time, and think this hotel is our favorite. We highly recommend! read more
