LADIES!!! BUY YOUR GUNS HERE!!!…read more I was looking for a very specific gun that no stores seemed to carry. A female coworker told me about this store, so I thought I'd give them a chance. I am so glad I did. All the other stores I went to were full of male salesmen who were condescending because I was a woman buying my first gun. They kept trying to push tiny "purse" guns, and even pink guns. I wanted a Smith and Wesson revolver because it's a "dummy proof" gun, which is great for a novice. Ian at the Army Navy Store understood why I wanted this particular gun. He was patient, really listened to me, and answered all my questions. He was even willing to teach me about guns. He didn't have the gun in stock, but said that the following month he was going to Smith and Wesson to place his order for the year. He texted me while he was there!!! I was shocked he remembered me, let alone while he was in the middle of placing the order. Then a few weeks later, he texted me and said the gun came in! You can't beat that for customer service. I highly recommend buying your guns here, especially if you're a woman.

Having family that are active in the military, they love this place…read more The store is like visiting the Military commissary, in my opinion. Apparently hard to find items, such as camping gear, hunting / fishing equipment, you name it and it's a high-quality item, then this is a place to be. So I'm here as a civilian, non-military non-fishing / hunting enthusiast, so I just find myself looking at their clothing lines. And unfortunately, they seem to be a little on the high-end price wise. No sales people gave salutations to us, or asked us if we need assistance, so I guess I could say "well it's not a high-pressure sales situation"!

I'd like to thank Mike Porsche for helping me out in store…read more I've been a Hunter and fisherman for more than 10 years but every now and then you need some professional help. I went to my local Turners outdoorsman looking for an alternative option for an old Weaver scope on a 1960s Remington model 722 I was able to purchase a vortex triumph for a great deal, but the assistance of Mr. Mike was greatly appreciated because of how difficult it was to fit a brand new aeroscope onto an older style Remington. He was able to quickly assess what we may need for an adapter as well as the hardware needed to mount the scope. He was able to mount the scope to my Remington for me. Same visit. Everyone in store was very helpful. I'd like to thank them.

Legally there are two forms the state requires and it should take less than 15 minutes. Not Turner's!!! They have created 5 or 6 other forms (none legally required), the paperwork is done by the desk employee and then checked by a manager, a few more things done, and then manager checked again. OVER 45 minutes!!! This is not satisfactory. There is no need for all these extra forms (for the buyer and the seller). If you employees can't fill them out without being checked by a manager, hire better employees. The only reason to ever have Turner's do your gun paperwork is if you buy a gun from them. Avoid them at all costs if you're just doing a PPT.

Located in the Orange Outlet, parking is spacious but can get crowded…read more The store was filled with great discount and deals. Before Christmas sale, they had $25 zip ups that were great for gifts. The colors and style were basic and not too crazy which I love. The sizes were plenty and i was able to find a gift for almost everyone on my list. The store was considerable clean thanks to the staff there. As people are fumbling through the merchandise, they were busy refolding and replenishing the inventory. The crew was very helpful and nice. Feels good to shop there. Would recommend and will be coming back.

It is your typical open air outlet mall and there is plenty of parking. Columbia specializes in apparel designed for sports and adventure but more so geared towards adventures such as hiking, backpacking, running etc... They always have a sale of some sort for different items and i feel they offer great products at a competitive price making it a good value. The service is always friendly. I Love their Omni-heat jackets. I also love their T-Shirt prints and i used to buy all my tee shirts from them only. But unfortunately I stopped buying them because for some reason, they no longer use quality cotton Tees which hold up and wear a lot better than the ones that they use now. I feel that the ones they use now. The fabric is really thin. It wrinkles really easy and does not wear well at all. That's really disappointing for a big brand like Columbia. I have brought it up to the manager of more than one store but nothing has changed in the past 2-3 years since the change occurred. Thus the reason for taking 2 stars away. Please bring the quality cotton tees back and do not cut corners. I bet that your sales will increase.

MY QUEST FOR WOMEN'S SNOW PANTS…read more.. I was in need of buying my own pair of snow pants for an upcoming snowboarding trip where I did not want to spend too much, but wanted some quality pants that wouldn't rip after one use. let me tell you... I searched far and wide! I first initially searched on amazon and all of those seemed to be poor quality for those under $40 and I could not try on so I opted to not buy online. I then went to nearby stores (REI - best quality, most expensive & Dick's Sporting Goods - middle of REI & Big 5 with pants around $60 and slightly better quality than Big 5). my last stop was at Big 5 (I also happened to get in the mail a day before I went a $10 of $30 purchase!) and was pleasantly surprised! I had not been to Big 5 in years, but they have almost everything packed into this relatively small store!!!! from camping to snow gear to sports gear they had a wide selection. I was going in February so it was nice to see they had a whole rack or two for snow pants and I found a pair of pants for $40 that fit perfect for my height and may not have been as thick as REI/Dick's but it still was a easier and better design but cheaper with a quality that would hold going a few times a year. when checking out I used my coupon for $10 off and to my surprised the pants were also on sale for another $5 off... so in total my good quality snow pants were $25!!!!!!! CAN YOU BEAT THAT?! PROS: -really nice, chill staff and didn't even look down upon me for using a coupon! they even made conversation so I really liked this place -the discounts they normally have! -every couple of weeks I get mailed a coupon for $10 of $30 and this came much in handy! -the variety -low prices -changing rooms (2) -easy, huge parking lot CONS: -none! OVERALL: do not be a fool, look at Big 5 along with the other big name chains and you won't regret it!

Everything seems aimed at the mid-range market. Not toys like you would get at Target or Walmart, but also not the high end equipment you would get at a specialty store. I wish I had been told prior to driving there about the condition of the tent. At first sight, the tent is very beat up at best.
