Carried away-then I remembered this is Molly, our favorite cat, and prepared to have someone else in our messy house. The manager "Mollie" was very organized. We, were very detailed. I organized food in one cabinet, with post-its for info, post-it where her room litterbox was after already giving info to the manager I think it helped make things simpler. We started getting daily reports, with "basics" box checked. They were thorough, precise, and complete. My Dad worked for Polaroid for 20 years, and these pet sitters were awesome at taking pictures. Every day we'd open up the emails and this noise would come out of our mouths: not ooh! Yecch! But...: Awwww, look at how cute she looks. Her wariness and caution as a cat showed, but her shyness rounded the corner a bit. Sitter4paws let us take a long vacation worry free at what we thought were reasonable prices, for a truly truly worry free vacation. Great communicators, responsible, and reliable, and awesome photographers. Thank you!

I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

I have used her for a week at a time house and dog sitting, and she is very responsible... took care of everything we asked and even left a lovely note and flowers and candle upon our return! She is quick to respond to questions and with updates on how everything is going. I now also use Meghan for babysitting since I discovered she has been babysitting for years and a nanny before. After the first time I asked my kids what they thought, and they both said she's the best! She actually spends time with them and plays games as opposed to sitting on her phone or plopping them in front of the tv the whole time. I highly recommend Meghan! She is a lovely and caring person. The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

On the first day of the scheduled walk my dog did not want to have his leash put on and even growled and showed his teeth to gabby. She was so kind and patient with him!! She spent 1 hour trying to get him to walk with her... she truly loves what she does and it shows!! He eventually got acclimated to her and now he loves her!! Thank you Fetch from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my beloved doggie!! They keep a journal of each day's walk and also send you photos and you really feel like your pet is in the BEST of hands!! I highly recommend them!!

First, when we arrived, we weren't allowed inside--not even into the front office. Instead, we had to fill out all the paperwork outside. When we asked to see the play area where the dogs would be spending their time, we were also denied access. This raised concerns about transparency. Inside the office, we noticed a TV monitor and asked if it was used for pet parents to check in on their dogs during pet play time , Kevin told us no. This meant that once we left our dog, we had no way of knowing how they were being treated or interacting with other dogs. When we asked for a visual reference of the play area, he only had a few photos, which showed a couch and some toys--not the engaging and structured environment we were expecting. We did leave our dog for the initial evaluation. Before I left I asked him if he can take a video for me for todays at least, so that I can see how my puppy interacts with his stay , he then assured me he would be able to do that. My husband and I left to grab a bite, and returned in 45 min. When we returned I asked to see the video, and he said he did not take a video of my puppy interacting. After we left we discussed it and didn't feel comfortable with the lack of access and transparency. We ultimately decided not to bring our dog back. While we can't say anything negative about how the dogs are actually treated, the fact that pet owners aren't allowed to see where their pets will be playing or how they are interacting raises concerns. For us, peace of mind and trust are essential when leaving our pet in someone else's care, and unfortunately, we didn't get that here. Kevin appeared to be a nice gentleman, and maybe a bit old school, but this wasn't for us.

She clearly understands dog dynamics and shared that she specializes in small dogs and that older dogs fell comfortable there, which was exactly what we were looking for. Our dog absolutely loves going for both daycare and overnight stays. Our dog has occasional gastrointestinal issues, and the owner is meticulous about following her specific diet without us having to worry or remind her. We're consistently kept in the loop with updates, and she regularly posts photos and videos so we can see how happy, relaxed, and comfortable our dog is while she's there. Drop-offs are completely stress-free--our dog is genuinely excited to go, and that says everything. It truly feels like her second home. I would definitely bring my dogs back here for either day care or overnights. The owner (Jacqueline) has a beautiful backyard oasis that the dogs get to wonder around at. The dogs are free to go inside and out of the home into the backyard as they please. It is well maintained with beautiful gardens. I'm glad to have found this place to bring my puppers for care.

He understands what works for different kinds of doggos and their personalities. He also is super nice, friendly, and helpful when you are working with him. You can tell he loves what he does. We have a large doggy named Milo and he kept nipping and jumping on people. Play biting and jumping for bigger dogs is difficult because we have older parents and his jumping and nipping could hurt them. We also have a newborn baby we were worried that our doggo would be rough with him since he kept rough playing, nipping/biting, and jumping on us. HOWEVER, with Alden's support we saw a sudden and quick decrease in our doggos behaviors. To all you dog owners out there looking for good and well-rounded training THIS IS THE GUY! I cannot recommend ANYONE go here as long as these two people are here. Dr. Zieve needs to take "small mammals" off her list of creatures she treats. She knew absolutely nothing about hamsters and yet pretended she knew more than me and even argued with me about what I knew to be true. We came in after my Syrian hamster hadn't come out of his burrow for two days. We got an emergency appointment for $230 and they for some god forsaken reason assigned Dr. Zieve and her team to my case. My first immediate red flags that I wish I listened to were that after examining him she came in talking about the two spots on his sides telling me how she thought they were cancerous masses and wanted us to test them for a couple hundred dollars. WHEN IS CANCER EVER SYMMETRICAL?? I then proceeded to tell her that those were his SCENT GLANDS and she ARGUED with me saying that no his scent glands were in a different spot. IT TAKES ONE QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH TO KNOW THAT THESE ARE TYPICAL SYRIAN HAMSTER SCENT GLANDS. After that she also said she was concerned that he had a heart problem because she heard clicking. He MAKES those sounds whenever he's handled because he is VOCALIZING his ANNOYANCE. I knew that the clicking she heard was probably just that so once again we did not pay $425 for an X-ray of his heart. The next thing she said was that he had discharge coming from his penis. I never saw any discharge there, but we thought maybe she looked in deeper and we agreed to put him on antibiotics and painkillers, as well as start syringe feeding him. They also gave him an IV for $75. He was struggling with his feedings and looked like he was in pain after. We brought him in for his check up and told them everything that was going on and they told us to increase his feeding. Even though I had told them it was hurting his stomach. They also still wanted to biopsy his "cancerous masses" we told them to please look at his penis again to check if the antibiotics were even doing anything and they didn't bother, they just gave us a new painkiller that wouldn't bother his stomach as much as they thought that was why he was having pain even though he was still showing these signs after we stopped giving him the painkiller. He continued to lose weight and we found a lump on his face after he had lost a significant amount of hair and thought we finally found the cause. We scheduled an appointment, this time with Dr. Kanfer as we found from their virus of a website (by the way their website acts as a virus, don't open it. we managed to get information about the doctors out of it through breaking down the code for it) that she was the only one specialized in rodents and abscesses. Dr. Kanfer could immediately tell what was going on. I felt like he was FINALLY looked at properly. But it was too late. Dr. Kanfer didn't want to do a bunch of unnecessary tests like Dr. Zieve did which I was grateful for. We did an ultrasound for $105 and they found a tumor but he started gasping for air and they put him on oxygen. He passed after an hour. After grieving him for awhile the nurse with the Spanish accent came in and left the door wide open. We asked for paw prints to be taken and she picked him up like he was some object and used way too much force on his paws, it looked like she was crushing him and the prints didn't even come out good. She then put him in his "coffin" (as the very nice receptionist called it) and shoved it to us like it was some package, saying "here's your box". Very cold and matter of factly. She lacked so much empathy and professionalism that is required of this job she should honestly be fired. Thank you Dr. Kanfer and the team that helped on the last day. F everyone else. The one star is for Dr. Kanfer who I would give five to.

I found Fine Feathered Friends on Facebook. Our 9 year old cockatiel was in need of a friend…read more Rather than purchase from a breeder or off a big-box store, my family wanted to adopt. We adopted our two other birds from local fosters and non-profits. After texting the number of the organization, I was immediately in touch with Marie, sweetest person-ever! We coordinated a date and time to come by and see the available cockatiels ready for adoption. I brought my partner and daughter along. As we got a review of the birds, Marie's hyacinth macaw Howard came over to greet us. Such a handsome, boy! We landed in adopting out a young male cockatiel (likely to be 1 year old due to the pearls still visible in his feathers) named "Patrick". He'd been saved from the elements, rescued after being dropped from the sky by a crow. Marie helped get him back in tip top shape, provided me the labs for his current health state (healthy!) and his DNA sexed paperwork. I appreciated the level of care and service Marie provided. She was professional, detailed, and super accommodating. I really loved her level of attention to understanding each and every bird's quirks, preferences, and history. Before we left, Marie provided a bit of food, snacks, and helped us pick a few perches and toys that "Patrick" would be happy with from his current cage. I was very grateful to be able to donate towards the foundation through Venmo. They also do cash or check, or Zelle. The feel the contribution/donation fee is minuscule compared to the value you give back to new member(s) of your flock. I understand only time will heal him from the trauma of his ordeal. We hope the love, care, and patience, our family can provide him with the right environment to help him heal at his own pace. If you're ever looking to adopt a bird in need, look no further than Fine Feathered Friends. Marie is wonderful and so dedicated, and it shows!

We arrived at 6pm when the event was supposed to start and person out front said they were still setting up and would be starting soon. They let us in the main area where the cats were a few minutes later but apparently they meant they were BARELY starting to set up. We had to awkwardly maneuver and wait around while they were getting tables and chairs set up and then we didn't get started til 645 which is pretty bad when your event is advertised as starting at 6. It was nice to walk around to see and pet the cats but that was not the primary point of the visit. What made this a pretty poor experience was the instructor and lack of organization. I've been to other paint events and you usually know what the inspo is ahead of time and the paint palette is provided with all the colors and right amounts you would need. They passed around the inspo pic and we had to wait while it was going around the room to take a picture and then we had to go up front to pick our own colors. The brushes were so overused and limp, floppy, and just in bad shape. The instructor said maybe 3 sentences to say she was going to outline the cat but there was no guidance whatsoever around how to shade, how to outline, how to do anything. It was not beginner friendly whatsoever and I think most of us were literally just winging it. The instructor also did not walk around the room or offer any assistance, feedback or help. I could tell some others were over painting and just got up to play with the cats. The concept is great but execution kind of failed. I'm sure they're not a trained paint instructor and maybe an employer or volunteer who likes to paint but that doesn't make for a good experience. We expected to have direction and instruction to paint. So essentially we paid $40 to be around cats and maybe $5-$10 worth of materials. Definitely would not recommend this event.

A friend could stay but said they were not able to stay during the actual holiday. Reached out to The Long Leash and spoke with Leanne who was so understanding and accommodating that she was going to make it work for me, working together on a solution. I felt so comfortable talking with her and gosh, just so pleased, and we hadn't even met yet! Later that evening, Leanne called, everything was going to be fine! Again, so happy! We met for nearly two hours couple days before I left. Leanne and Skye (who would be staying with my kiddos) were just so amazing. We took them for a walk and talked. I received phone calls, photos and got to talk with my dogs on the phone! I will be asking them for services of dog walking and sitting going forward. Great folks! Trusting! Amazing! I have always been nervous about the idea of having someone, not only come into my home when I'm not there, but then take my pup out for a walk without my supervision. Until that is, I met Leanne from The Long Leash company. The moment I met Leanne, I knew it was going to be a good fit. Her kind and comforting nature, helped to ease my concerns, and her attention and diligence to the needs of of my pup were/are very apparent. The first time Leanne came to take my pup out for a walk, I of course was a wreck. (Not to her fault at all. Amazing experience with Leanne from the Long Leash!! Even though I usually walk Gilbert (My Bull Dog) myself, he seemed to be putting on weight and I knew he could use an extra day time walk while I am at work. I didn't want to impose on family and friends (sometimes Gilbert gets grumpy) so I hired Leanne. What an angel/dog expert. She knew the breed well, worked within my time schedule, and she she visits Gilbert, my phone dings! Then I see where they walked, the route, the time they spent together (I get 30 minute walks) and the price was reasonable. I am so grateful we found the Long Leash. We adopted a small dog that ended up having lots of anxiety issues and very difficult to walk due to her extreme reactivity. Our trainer recommended the Long Leash, and it has been such a positive experience for us. They've been really patient and flexible with us. Over time (we've been with them about 6 months), I've really come to rely on their sound advice and referrals for services. Our dog is NOT EASY, but they love her just as much as we do. They even came and helped out a dog sitter having a really difficult time with our dog while we were on vacation. Their customer service is one of the best I've experienced, period. Leanne is about as sweet as they come. From start to finish she was warm and communicative. She gave us regular updates on how our girls were doing while we were gone. Just prior to our departure, we discovered a small wound on our dog's leg. I left the appropriate supplies for wound care and Leanne took care of the rest. She even offered to take our pug to the vet for an exam if necessary. The dogs of course fell in love with Leanne immediately when they met her during our pre-vacation visit. The Long Leash and Leanne in particular has been an absolute blessing for our family. My wife and I work long and stressful hours but having the Long Leash take care of our pups during the day alleviates a tremendous amount of stress for us. We have two big dogs with a wide age gap and very different needs, but Leanne understands them both and takes great care of them. We have used a variety of dog walkers in the past in the many different cities in which we have lived, but we have never found anyone this consistent and with whom the dogs are so clearly in love. So happy that I found this dog walker. We like both of the dog walkers who we have met and more importantly, our dog loves them both. We love the fact that Leanne is able to send real time photos of the walk, and actually lets us know when the walk is complete and how our dog, Nugget behaved. (Nugget is not too friendly with other dogs). Everything has been great and also importantly, unlike our previous dog walker, Leanne and Scott arrive on time and never miss the walks. We love Leanne and Skye of The Long Leash! Oliver, our Old English Sheepdog is very sensitive and can be nervous with new situations. Skye is so patient and loving with him. She always goes above and beyond just a walk - cleaning his ears, a quick brush and sitting with him in the house. I'm so impressed with the level of service. Our walker Leeanne and the Long Leash are wonderful! She truly loves animals and we can tell that our dog is not quite as lonely when we come home after her visits. She always lets us know how each walk went, complete with photos and details about all the little interactions our dog had on his walk. I do not like to use kennels, so when we left our two dogs at home during a recent trip, we used The Long Leash for the first time. They were fed and walked regularly, and we were impressed with the love and attention our two dogs received. Leanne even texted a picture of their smiling faces during one of their walks, and left some homemade dog treats for us on our return! Lindy stepped in and took on finding a foster and the volunteer-training of this dog simply out of the goodness of her big heart. Not only did Lindy find a loving placement for our friend's pup who lets our friend visit him when she wants, she also offered free training to the new dog parent and took on additional responsibilities that are practically unheard of these days, especially from businesses focused almost solely on the bottom line. Lindy and her staff showed a level of genuine generosity and care that feels rare. So to find out Howie trained dogs for show biz back in the day?! What a dream. Being part boarder collie, the training was much more difficult than I had previously been hoping for on my own. Despite (and maybe because of) her incredible intelligence, she also has a tremendous amount of energy, and love to give. With my chronic condition it was just becoming too much. She's been in the program for seven weeks, has taken a huge liking to David and behaves beautifully with him. I'm nervous to have her on my own but she just graduated today and I am so much more confident! She listens like spring and she talks like June, my sweet baby angel. I've been singing to her "she's a maniac" but swapped it out with "brainiac" all afternoon: lovin' it.
