What a great experience! We got a new puppy, but already had a trip planned. We were torn. How can we leave our new puppy for 9 nights and trust that he is well taken care of and not falling behind on his training? Enter the Dog Ranger! We heard about Reid from a family member and quickly got on the phone with him. He eased our minds immediately with his expertise and calm demeanor! We dropped Kobe off at the 'dog house' as he calls it. It really is just that! As soon as our puppy got there, he peed on a kitchen mat. Reid didn't bat an eyelash and assured us that his house is all about dogs and not to worry. He had a nice fenced in yard with lots of grass. Reid was willing to set up our puppy's crate and pen exactly as we wanted it. He answered all my annoying questions without hesitation. While we were gone, Reid sent us a picture of our pup everyday and let us know what he was doing. He took him places and offered to expose him to different things so that he wouldn't develop fears. Our puppy was better trained when we got back. He learned how to wait for his food and was better at his commands. He was happy and well cared for, and he didn't forget us (that probably only mattered to me haha)! We would absolutely trust Reid with our now 9 month old puppy and would recommend to anyone interested! Attached is a pic that Reid took of our boy when he was staying at his house. We know had a great time!

When I get home after Reid has taken them out.

OMG!!!! This man is the best!!! I can't recommend him enough. I have 5 dogs and couldn't do it without him!! When I get home after Reid has taken the dogs out it's a nice and relaxing evening. He is responsible and knowledgeable and as a bonus he sends the cutest pictures of the pups on their walk. As much as I love him, it doesn't even come close to how much my pups love him. Do yourself and your dog a favor-- call Reid.

Reid is the absolute BEST!!! He has been our dog's human since our dog was a pup (at least a couple of years) and they have the best time together :) I totally trust Reid with our dog. He sends pictures daily and lets us know if he notices anything unusual. I have referred him to a few friends and they have reached out to Reid multiple times.. we all share the wonderful stories our beloved dogs have with him. Reid is very disarming, is extremely knowledgeable about dogs, and puts our anxieties at ease. He is easy to communicate with and works with us even when things come up last minute. Reid is extremely reliable and flexible.. can't say enough about him. Would give 10 stars if I could.

    Happy dogs after an outing!

If you're a crazy dog parent like myself, look no further, because Reid is the best all around. I am extremely particular who I leave my dog with, and I trust very few people, but I trust Reid blindly. For those that know me, know that, that carries a lot of weight. He is absolutely everything you are looking for, want, and need for your pup. When my dog sees Reid, he cries and whimpers at the door for him, he shows a level of excitement and happiness that he shows no one else, but Reid. Without a doubt, Reid is his favorite person in the world, his best friend, as he adores no other more. What sets Reid apart from others in the business besides being unequivocally honest, trustworthy, reliable, and responsible, is his qualification. Being a professional dog walker, dog sitter, and dog trainer is more than just saying you grew up with dogs and have loved dogs all your life. It's more than saying you trained your own dogs and have charged the honest people of your town money with techniques that you've watched and learned on T.V. Reid is a CERTIFIED dog trainer, and by the most recognized organization in the dog profession nationally. Knowing and understanding dog behavior that is based on and driven by science, being able to read their body language, understand what your pup is feeling, and make decisions on how to make and keep your pup happy and safe. I've had dogs for more than 20 years, which means I've known and gone through a lot of "professional" dog care providers. Most don't even pass the interview. Reid will surpass your expectations, he's simply the best. If you love your dog as much as I do, and yes, my dog is my world, you will schedule outings for your dog with Reid even when you are home just because you know that being out with Reid and his group, makes your dog overwhelmingly happy. And if my dog is happy, then I'm happy. I guarantee, Reid will be that guy for your pup.

    Modi's best day ever.

I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

The sitters care for our fur babies so lovingly - we always travel with such peace of mind knowing our boys are looked after so well. They have an app now which makes communication even easier - they send emails/messages and many photos with every visit. The sitters follow any instructions very well - we used to have an elderly cat that needed medications and they took care of it no problems! Making reservations for visits in their app is so easy and they approve them very quickly or reach out if there are any issues or questions. They get very busy around major holidays but always make sure to give us a heads up before things get full - above and beyond! On our first visit, a manager came out to the house and met our pets and set us up with a very solid lock box for the house key that the sitters use to enter and exit. They check the mail and will water plants if needed too. They always give our boys so much love and treats and make sure they get some play time in every visit. They fill their food bowls, top off the water fountain, scoop the litter, and even sweep up! Great service! Their prices have gone up quite a bit since we first signed up - but what hasn't nowadays? Lol - their prices are comparable to other sitting companies locally and it's worth it for the peace of mind we get - huge ty to all our sitters and to Sitters4Paws for all your love and care!

She came back relaxed, happy, and well cared for, with no soreness or stress -- which speaks volumes about the thoughtful, attentive care she receives. My dogs used to go to I dig my dog, but I stopped after an incident wherein my dogs had been peed on and attacked by a larger dog. I think any place that you choose is fine so long as the staff and the place resonates with you; for me, Dogtopia is that place. I absolutely love Dogtopia! Every month they provide you with a calendar of events, and you can take themed photographs of your dogs or do arts and crafts. My only complaint is that sometimes I feel like I am overcharged for the photographs, considering my dogs are in the photo together. However, the fact that they take the time and effort to do these projects with the dogs is so cute and appreciated. The boys also love going and every time we drive by, or pull up to the driveway they get really excited. I have left them overnight a couple of times and I have had no issues. Dogtopia provides kibble for them, and they also cook food for the dogs. Or you have the option of bringing your own food for them. I also really love that they provide you with a little report card whenever the dogs get boarded. There is an app so you can schedule when you want your dog to come in, and you can schedule grooming or spa appointments. There was an incident once where my dog had his nail cut a little too much and was bleeding. Dogtopia did let me know, and I appreciated that they took the time to remedy the situation. I was even offered a free day of daycare because of having to take my dog to the vetveterinarian. I feel like they really care about my dogs, and they know their names as soon as my boys arrive in. They are also aware of who is picking them up and who is on your emergency contact list. Whenever my dogs have had any issues, I get phone calls. For example, Kennedy did have a seizure and I was immediately called. There was also a time where one of my dogs had a large hematoma, and Dogtopia did a good job at making sure that his wrapping stayed intact. It was nice to be able to have Carmichael still go to daycare, even though he was in medical treatment. The staff is really friendly and for the most part they do a good job at making sure everything stays clean. I love getting the weekly newsletters, but my favorite is getting photographs of my dogs.
