Clean interior, new pool tables, live music on weekends, karaoke weekdays, loved this place for my few weeks in town.

Whiskey Bar is one of my favorite restaurants in Augusta, especially for a picky eater and a burger…read morelover! I have been multiple times before but this is my first review! The restaurant is unique on the inside and gives a somewhat hole-in-the-wall bar vibe (but cleaner). During the day time, I would say it is family friendly, but at night it can definitely get rowdier so go at your own risk, it is called Whiskey Bar after all. The burgers are very good and are cooked very well with lots of options for customization. I always go for the classic WB(K) burger with Swiss cheese and pickles. The waffle fries are always so crisp and yummy. The same goes for the potstickers as an appetizer. Even their other burger combos that seem strange are actually pretty good if you are into that type of burger. The service is always pretty good. Friendly staff that was quick. Not a long wait on a Tuesday night, but have definitely waited before on a Friday or Saturday. They have a first come, first serve bar as well. The tables can be somewhat cramped depending on where you are sat and it is definitely not an accessible place as the entrance is crammed and all the tables are high tops on the inside, the outside is better with low top tables and benches. The Diet Coke was okay. A little syrupy so their ratio on the fountain soda machine must be a little off. Still good, but I have had better. Overall, one of the best burger restaurants in Augusta and most stop place in the area!

Great customer service, so much fun, great selections of tap beer and ciders. I'm not a beer…read moredrinking so the ciders were perfect. The cherry cider was my fave. Beautiful layout and lots of game options. Nice and dark but illuminated well throughout. Adequate indoor and outdoor seating, patio style seating out back. Free popcorn station. Board/card games available, jumbo Jenga and tons of other options. They have frozen drinks, cocktails and tap beer/cider. Great for groups, you can bring in your own food. Pet friendly. They bought my dog a nice bowl of cool water. He enjoyed himself. I didn't get much alcohol on the frozen drinks but the flavor was good. The popcorn wasn't hot and fresh however it was free and had tons of seasoning options which was super fun and cute. I can't wait to go back. This was a great outing with a friend and my dog! The music is loud near so you may want to step out to have more of an intimate conversation. So fun to be a kid again. I would take your pet on the slower days, during the week etc just so it's not too much.

If you want to taste the different variety of alcohol, look no further. I really enjoyed the wristband idea of where you self-serve and can taste and enjoy many variety of alcohol. I went during St. Patrick day and had a huge crowd hanging out in front of establishment. During the weekday, the place can be empty, which is typical for bars in Augusta. One of the highlights is that Draft Society does let you bring in food. I saw the majority of people bringing in food from Laziza. I like games they had available. I wish they had more TV available for people to watch. I came back during a Saturday night and was disappointed that there was no band playing. I am hoping to go one day and see a live band play at the venue.

This is my first time here since it was Cotton Patch. I never made it to Noble Jones…read more The bar is very long. Seats about 13. In the actual seating area, the tables are kinda close to each other. It was empty when I went around 330p on a Friday so it was fine. The beer selection is not too crazy but was fair enough. Bar looked pretty decent. Was not expecting to see a bottle of Blanton's. I ordered the Wing Basket. Honey Sriracha. It includes a 6pc + fries. The quality of the chicken was decent, above average. The sauces from what I heard and what I tasted today (also tried the Carolina Gold BBQ) are top-tier. They should absolutely NOT call these "JUMBO" wings bc they are a fairly standard size and typically when I see "jumbo" it deters me from ordering the wings. The fries are beer-battered, my personal favorite, and I enjoyed them thoroughly but MAN are they stingy with them. It was literally a handful of fries, if that. Potatoes are soooooo cheap. 6 wing basket is $14.99. A terrible value if we are being honest. I would pop in occasionally if I was in the area and wanted wings but I don't foresee me going out of my way to visit. Decent Happy Hours; M - F 3p-7p Saturday 12p - 7p Sunday 12p - 12a

Southern charm, incredible lunch, legendary desserts, and truly wonderful service…read more Boll Weevil is one of those places that feels like you stumbled into something special. From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry. Save room for cake.

Pros: Nice waiter…read more Quick service Inexpensive Right next to the Riverwalk. Cons: A/C set very low, we were freezing Spinach dip was okay but salty and had a vinegary taste. Turkey and rice soup was very salty, not warm enough. The bread on our sandwiches were not a good quality... and not fresh Sides with sandwiches were subpar.... Regular chips on one and tasteless pasta salad on the other.
