It's a happening place for UND and other students and the Grand Forks AFB crowd from what I heard. My friend and I went when there wasn't any crowd and it was nice. There are games and pool tables and you are allowed to drink while playing. The place is spacious and you can find a corner to enjoy your time. The apps were very good and big enough portions to feel satiated and not hungry with your drink. We had the chicken elotes (feels like tacos) and quesadillas. Plenty of food and quesadillas came with melted cheese spread and nachos with sour cream and salsa and lettuce and tomato. Fun and nice place. The waitresses came around a lot for requests so you will never not be served. You need to add your card in the beginning for your bill. read more

Huge bar in downtown Grand Forks. We came in on a random Tuesday and it was dead inside, but the place is huge with pool tables, darts, video games, etc. Drink specials and food specials were pretty solid. I ordered just wings, they were 65 cents boneless or bone-in. I got boneless, well they accidentally did bone-in so he brought me a whole other order of boneless on the house (lots of wings!) I appreciate the customer service there. I ordered the spicy garlic sauce, it was awesome! Definitely try that, I also tried Parmesan garlic that was great too. They have a solid beer list and the bartender/server was great too we were a large group so I know that can be a pain. If I were back in Grand Forks I would definitely come to throw back a few here and eat some solid bar food. read more

Stopped here on a Wednesday night. This is a wide open spot good for dancing and music. There's multiple bars in the area with pool tables, shuffle board and dart boards. I was with two coworkers and we decided to stop in, have some food and shoot some darts. There are many beers on tap and a full bar. I got a pitcher of beer. We decided to order food as well. I had chicken street tacos and wasn't impressed at all. The tortillas were kinda crunchy in some places hard in others and the chicken was terribly dry. There was little to no seasoning also. The waiting staff wasn't engaged and seemed like they didn't want to be there. This was a Wednesday night and there was a few dart league players here. Overall it's a decent spot if you want to dance, hear a dj and have some drinks. I could see a college crowd hang out spot. read more

This is a very specific complaint, but here goes. If an establishment offers TouchTunes, and if its customers spend money on that service, and the bartender skips the songs the customer just bought (because the song annoyed her, apparently) that's not right. If the customer requests a refund and the bartender refuses to refund the money spent on the skipped songs, that's worse. If its a Sunday night and the folks buying the music are almost the only customers in the whole bar, the exercise of judgment is even poorer. If you offer a service and accept money for it, you need to actually provide the service--that's basic contract law. No one would tolerate a bartender that took your money and then refused to actually give you the food or drink you had just ordered. This is no different. If there was some sort of sign on the machine, like at Brick and Barley, that says "we reserve the right to skip any song" (which policy I don't much respect), then at least a person is on notice that they're risking losing their money if the bartender, in her subjective judgment, decides she doesn't like your musical tastes. If there are songs bars don't want on their TouchTunes, they have the power remove them so people cannot play them. That's obviously fair game, but if they were available, and if they were bought, then they need to be played. Period. Otherwise, the bar is fine. While this bar features a cool atmosphere, the bouncers are the rudest in town. They will vehemently deny real ID's especially those from Minnesota, even when those are people are of legal age to enter. The bouncers are aggressive and even got physical, despite them blatantly being in the wrong. Will never give them business again after these incidents. read more

This bar is a complete piece of sh*t. I walked in here, as a 23 year old, and was denied access. I asked for my ID back, and they told me they'd beat me up before giving my my ID back. I asked for them to call the cops so I can get my ID back, and they finally did so. Will never be back here again. What a Joke! read more
