This bar is part of the Sky restaurant, which is also arguably the nicest restaurant in town. To get in, you have to go in a building and up the escalator. There was a decent size group of us, but the bar was pretty busy and so we squeezed our group in the couch area. The drinks on the menu are pretty fancy, they have their own unique names, and they have a large variety of their drinks too. The drinks include things from the classics to even hot alcoholic beverages. Overall, it's a pretty decent spot and I think that if you're in Grand Forks, it's worth a stop to see what the town has to offer.

When I buy a $26 dollar plate of cream sauce fettuccine with sausage and shrimp it better knock my socks off. Theirs completely didn't. It was bland and I expected it to be worth the nearly $30 in spending on a plate of easy to make pasta. The desserts were also forgettable and skimpy. It's sad bcz the majority of my reviews are positive and I expected so much more from this place. When I splurge and pay premium prices, I expect to be served premium, Chef inspired food I could not easily craft at home.

Beautiful decor, nice bar and a separate large dining room. The restaurant was virtually empty but we were told there were no booths available. We were seated quickly in the center of the main room. Our server was great. He gave app and entree recommendations, and allowed us time to view the menu. We started with the crab cakes. They were good, heavy on filler though. Two of the three were very dark on the bottom. For entrees we both had the chicken Parmesan. Mine was overcooked and the breading literally fell off, leaving me with unseasoned, dry chicken breast. My colleague's was perfect. Our server did get me a new order, but after waiting I'd lost my appetite. Can't say I'd go back, there are probably better options in the area.

The lobby, elevators, common area carpets and walls look great. The staff are incredibly nice and were more than helpful in telling me about places to see and eat at. The room I had was very nice, clean and comfortable. It has a thermostat I could control to make the room more comfortable. If you have a critical eye, the room was showing a little wear. The vinyl flooring in the kitchen and the ceiling in the shower had some slight water damage. The desk chair was shedding its top layer of fabric, and the ottomans had seen their fair share of use. Overall great experience and I would come back again. I love the Amenities offered here to guests, and the staff are very nice.

I have stayed at IHG properties many times, and I cannot recall a stay this disappointing. The most…read moreserious issue was a room security concern. On August 26, I returned to the hotel around 3:00 PM and found my room door propped open. No one was inside. About five minutes later, a TV repair technician arrived and said he was almost finished. There was no hotel staff escorting him, and no one verified my room or ensured it was secured afterward. Leaving an unoccupied guest room open and unattended is completely unacceptable and creates a serious risk to a guest's belongings and safety. I reported the situation to the front desk and was told the General Manager would follow up with me. The GM never contacted me. Given the seriousness of the issue, the lack of follow-up was extremely disappointing. The condition of the room was also well below expectations. The AC struggled and repeatedly shut off during the night, forcing me to get up to reset it and resulting in very little sleep. The carpet was badly damaged, with chunks missing, the wood flooring was cracked, the room looked dingy and run down, and the shower had very poor water pressure. I also considered using the pool but decided against it because the water appeared green and dirty. There were some positives: the breakfast and happy-hour staff were fantastic, and the food was excellent. Those ladies deserve recognition for their great service. This was my third stay at this property, and unfortunately it will be my last. The combination of the room condition, security concerns, and lack of management response has completely eroded my confidence in this hotel. I hope IHG and hotel management take these concerns seriously and address them.
