When I buy a $26 dollar plate of cream sauce fettuccine with sausage and shrimp it better knock my socks off. Theirs completely didn't. It was bland and I expected it to be worth the nearly $30 in spending on a plate of easy to make pasta. The desserts were also forgettable and skimpy. It's sad bcz the majority of my reviews are positive and I expected so much more from this place. When I splurge and pay premium prices, I expect to be served premium, Chef inspired food I could not easily craft at home.

Beautiful decor, nice bar and a separate large dining room. The restaurant was virtually empty but we were told there were no booths available. We were seated quickly in the center of the main room. Our server was great. He gave app and entree recommendations, and allowed us time to view the menu. We started with the crab cakes. They were good, heavy on filler though. Two of the three were very dark on the bottom. For entrees we both had the chicken Parmesan. Mine was overcooked and the breading literally fell off, leaving me with unseasoned, dry chicken breast. My colleague's was perfect. Our server did get me a new order, but after waiting I'd lost my appetite. Can't say I'd go back, there are probably better options in the area.

It's a dive bar, so I'm not expecting grade A, but have the list available to people. Odd there was a bouncer at the door. Like it's a restaurant. Must get rowdy?? I don't know. It was Saturday at 7pm when we were there, nothing out of the ordinary. Now, this is not our first time eating here. We are from out of town and probably make it to grand forks once a year maybe. The first time we had wings here, out of this world!! This time...soup master zero. Absolutely drowning in sauce. And they were 5000 degrees, so too hot to eat and handle. By the time we were able to eat them, soggy. The wings themselves also, in our humble opinion too big. The drummies where huge!! I dont like them that big, again just adds to the texture problem. We got traditional buffalo level 15. Flavor was excellent and heat was nice and hot, but not challenging. Also got the peanut butter. Fun!! And the jelly side dip was an excellent pairing. Wouldn't want more than 6, honestly 3 would be good as a fun little novelty. The deep fried okra was a hard pass. Bland, soggy, stupid. Don't bother.

We got a booth inside since it was too hot to dine on their veranda. Our waitress was prompt with our orders and my huckleberry mule came out in a reasonable amount of time. The drink itself was OK. It's fruitiness was a bit odd but at $8 it was a good deal. I ordered the boneless wings with the sweet chili sauce. They were quite good. My wife took advantage of their Monday night $5 off all burgers special and got their specialty burger with bacon, peanut butter and a fried egg on it. Sound gross but she liked it though it was a bit overdone at pink since they wouldn't do medium rare. Prices were reasonable though they have a credit card surcharge. The big complaint was how long we had to wait for our food to arrive even though by the time we ordered the crowds had dissipated. It was a looooong time.

This bar is part of the Sky restaurant, which is also arguably the nicest restaurant in town. To get in, you have to go in a building and up the escalator. There was a decent size group of us, but the bar was pretty busy and so we squeezed our group in the couch area. The drinks on the menu are pretty fancy, they have their own unique names, and they have a large variety of their drinks too. The drinks include things from the classics to even hot alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately had a very disappointing experience visiting the Board Room for the first time, and most of the issues lay in the fact that it was severely understaffed, with only one employee working every single station in the place - registers, drive-thru, drinks, and making food. This poor girl could not handle a small rush of 8-10 customers. We waited at least 30+ min for our coffee and probably another 15 min for two breakfast sandwiches. Their menu is impossible to find online and they don't have any social media updates indicating seasonal options. Even once you get inside, the menu is on three screens on the back wall, and difficult to read due to tons of options and small print. My biggest issue, however, was the fact that there were absolutely zero descriptions of any of the drinks! Many of the specialty drinks had fun names, but no clue what was in each one. I certainly did not want to stand at the register asking the only employee to explain each one. Went with the cold brew flight, which was also disappointing. You choose 4 different syrups and have them topped off with like 2oz of cold brew and whip cream. I guess if you hate coffee and want something super sweet this might work, but I couldn't taste the cold brew at all (also an indication it wasn't very strong). My husband got a s'mores mocha, which was delicious, but took 35 min to receive. Breakfast sandwiches on everything bagels were tasty, especially liked the chipotle mayo they give you as a sauce on the side. If I'm going to wait 45 min for food though I would go out to brunch at a nice sit down place instead. Don't stop here if you're in a rush to get anywhere. Ample parking in the lot outside, drive thru available too.
