We walked through the closest, but incorrect, door and was greeted so pleasantly by a stylist who graciously helped find out who was taking care of my client so she wasn't needing to move around a lot. The stylist that took my client, Alana, was so patient. She explained what she was doing, she engaged in great conversation and was accommodating for my clients needs during the cut. At the Hamburg location, the nails section was all upstairs. They had relaxing music playing and the waiting room was decorated to be super modern and almost cosmopolitan glam. I didn't have to wait long. Everyone wore a mask appropriately. They had a great selection of polish. The manicure and pedicure was great. Lots of moisturizing treatments with warm gloves and paraffin wax. They offered coffee, yea, or water during the pedicure. Everything was really clean and sanitized in between clients. This experience was also on target with what you would pay at some of the local competitors, like Kim Lee or young nails and the experience was just much more elegant and relaxing.

The inside is clean and modern, very appealing inside and outside. The ladies and the owner are very nice and welcoming. A friend of mine with similar styled hair recommended a stylist named Jen Franz. I first visited Jen at her old location and knew from the first cut that she was a pro. She has a great attention to detail and personality. I have been a client of Jen for a couple years now and she recently relocated to Mainly Hair in Hamburg. Even with her move she still delivers the same great services. Jen does not just specialize in men's hair but I've also seen her deliver phenomenal services to women and children as well. I wouldn't go to anyone else in the Buffalo area to get my hair cut.

So we showed up and they were not friendly in the least. The woman who ended up cutting his hair seemed very annoyed that she was cutting a little boy's hair. I also had my other children with me who are 4 and 6 years old. They were not very friendly with them either. I even had to argue with the woman cutting my sons hair to get her to cut more of his hair - I had asked for a trim on the things that were already cut, including his bangs area and above his ears, she trimmed the bangs and did nothing with the ear area, so when she asked if we were all set, I said I'd like more taken off. She said she didn't know where to cut it, so I was like actually pointing the hair out to her. Just seemed pretty unenthused to be helping us and annoyed that we existed. I had hoped that this would also be a cheaper cut since it is a national-chain, the kids cut was $1 cheaper than the very nice boutique-style men's barber shop down the street. The cut tinted out so poorly, a friend asked if I cut his bangs myself.
