First, I had to get in today, I'm traveling for work and had no other time to get my hair done - Kevin made it happen and was very kind. Appointment reminders came via text which was super helpful. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprise to see such an intimate setting and was instantly relived that I wasn't going to be an appointment crammed in between others. Jason sat me down and reviewed my concerns/wants/needs and he listened. I've never EVER had someone totally get what I was talking about and asking for with my hair. My highlights look amazing - just a small "sparkle" to lighten me up for the Spring/Summer. A few small tweaks with my cut has taken what I had and turned it into something wonderful! The receptionist(s) cut you off when you call, act disinterested & short. And god help you if you need to call and change an appointment. I feel that even though I have a great cut when I leave, I need to whole experience to be pleasant and that starts at the front desk. I will go to a salon that is grateful and truly appreciative of my business in a service industry that relies on referrals and repeat business.

The first time I had my hair professionally dyed was here and it came out perfect. Since I have been going there for a year, I have always had the best hair cut. There are no rude or snotty or snooty attitudes here. I always see a nice mix of young and old women and everyone always seems so happy. Prices are normal, not inflated. They only take cash and are closed Mondays. To top everything else off, Donovan has their own line of hair products. If you have thick, frizzy, or just frustrating hair you really need to spend some extra cash and get the styling aide he sells. It comes in an orange bottle and after several times of wondering why my hair always looks so straight and sleek I finally gave in and bought a bottle. And, yes, this stuff makes a huge difference! I have tried everything from cheap to expensive (like paul mitchell) and this stuff is beyond anything else!

We walked through the closest, but incorrect, door and was greeted so pleasantly by a stylist who graciously helped find out who was taking care of my client so she wasn't needing to move around a lot. At the Hamburg location, the nails section was all upstairs. They had relaxing music playing and the waiting room was decorated to be super modern and almost cosmopolitan glam. I didn't have to wait long. Everyone wore a mask appropriately. They had a great selection of polish. The manicure and pedicure was great. Lots of moisturizing treatments with warm gloves and paraffin wax. They offered coffee, yea, or water during the pedicure. Everything was really clean and sanitized in between clients. This experience was also on target with what you would pay at some of the local competitors, like Kim Lee or young nails and the experience was just much more elegant and relaxing.
