Like a fried Crab Rangoon, I left looking CRISP!…read more I started going to Gamy after a recommendation from a friend. I had been in need of a barber after my previous one just wasn't putting the touch into the work. Im truly grateful for that recommendation. Gamy is only the second barber I've had in my life, prior to visiting barber shops I had a stylist for about 20 years until she retired. Needless to say I remain loyal when the service and quality is there, so when Gamy said he was opening his own shop there was only one option. Crowned Alpha Barbershop located in Tonawanda, right on Delaware Ave is a jewel in a crown of what is Delaware Ave business. Although the outside of the shop may appear humble, walk in and see the kingdom that Gamy has created for any Alpha king or queen and in-between. The Barbershop Gamy has created has been crafted and shaped as much as the cuts he provides. Crowned Alpha is sleek, stylish and I love the lighting and touches of gold. Nothing beats the Barbershop experience with the selection of beverages available while you wait or get your cut. If you are in need of a new barber I highly recommend booking with Gamy and his team!

Prior to my haircut, I hadn't been to a barber for 3 months due to covid-19 concerns and a horrible haircut from my last barber. I found Dorian on Instagram and it was one of the better experiences that I've ever had with a barber. It was super easy to book with him for an appointment. After I did so I got confirmation right away as well as a follow-up text before my appointment. He was very intentional about being sure that he fully understood what I wanted from a cut. It helped that he was incredibly skilled with the clippers. The cuts in the shop are reasonably priced. It is easy to submit payment via squire. In fact, I received a text in advance of my appointment encouraging me to pay to avoid germs from cash exchange. Lastly, I'd be remiss if I didn't highlight the shop itself. The shop was so aesthetically pleasing. It was almost spotless. Even the barber's personal stations were pretty organized. Bonus: Would definitely be the safety precautions they are taking for covid-19. All of the barbers had on masks. They had individual partitions in between each barber/client. They had sanitizer out and available. Slight Con: - The parking lot is super tiny. Overall great experience. I will definitely be back.
